OK, this was posted on another site on January 1st 2014

'Based upon a letter in the DM from a reader who alleged they had overheard "an obnoxiously loud member of TA production team" in a Birmingham restaurant. Believe it at your peril.

Rob is revealed to be homophobic.
Jill will move into Brookfield.
The Grundy's to move back to Grange Farm.
Tom will take over the running of Bridge Farm after Tony has an accident.
Lower Loxley may burn down, but that has yet to be decided upon.
Lynda is to stage Blithe Spirit next Christmas.

Or not, as the case may be...'

How much more will come to pass, I wonder?

If oliviamumsnet doesn't change the font back I might just start posting spoilers on the other thread!!

glowfrog · 17/03/2016 08:27

Thanks so much, Gasp!

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 17/03/2016 09:41

Tuesday 29th March: Bert and Rex are bonding, and Rob wants to make a special effort.

Confused
BYOSnowman · 17/03/2016 10:00

Maybe rob is arrested and comes home trying to smarm up to Helen about how he will change blah blah

MrsCampbellBlack · 17/03/2016 12:13

If Helen is sensible she will not tell Rob she is leaving him until the last moment and she will have someone with her.

I'm sure I read on here the most dangerous point of an abusive relationship is the minute you tell the abuser you are leaving.

I so want some resolution though and proper resolution via the courts.

Toomuchtea · 17/03/2016 17:49

Coming over to this thread which I have avoided, but I need some sort of vague idea of what might happen. If Rob is making a special effort, I hope it's along the lines of mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa, it will all be different if only you will come back to me. And that she's gone and taken Henwee with her.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 17/03/2016 18:04

Lots more! Food for thought here.

17 March Rob is thinking about the future. Will Helen reach out to a friend?...
18 March Birthday boy Eddie is on cloud nine, and Kirsty has an idea.

20 March Elizabeth has good news, and Alf is turning on the charm.
21 March Johnny is out to impress, and Toby has a brainwave.
22 March Bert is indulging in some garden therapy, and the Fairbrothers welcome their new house guests....
23 March It is all getting a bit much for Lynda, and Clarrie makes a shocking discovery...
24 March Lynda has a proposition for Bert, and Henry reveals a secret.
25 March Clarrie has an epiphany, and Helen makes a call.

27 March It's all the fun of the fair, and Peggy has cause for concern.
28 March Lynda is kept in suspense, and Alan gets a shock.
29 March Bert and Rex are bonding, and Rob wants to make a special effort.
30 March Clarrie has something on her mind, and Dan's guest makes an impression.
31 March Kirsty is walking a tightrope, and Henry is in trouble.
1 April Bert is no fool, and Helen uncovers some truths.

3 April Rob asserts his viewpoint, and Helen reacts.
4 April Kirsty is called to action, and Pat is confused.
5 April Jazzer is working hard, and Helen encounters a new face.
6 April Susan stirs the pot, and Fallon has unwanted company.
7 April Christine has some words of advice, and Henry makes a new friend.
8 April There is an unexpected visitor at the village shop, and Tom wonders what might have been.

SeekEveryEveryKnownHidingPlace · 17/03/2016 18:09

Oh gosh - so she's obviously not actually leaving him at Easter then, is she - or else why would Henry be in trouble on the 31st? And why would Kirsty be walking a tightrope? And clearly Pat's going to still be a twat at least until the 4th April.

So I think things get tense around Easter weekend then, and then there's a kind of detente with the 'special effort'... wonder who the new face is? Miles? Rob's father?

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 17/03/2016 18:10

Jess?

BYOSnowman · 17/03/2016 18:10

Looks like 4 April is escape day

MrsArthurShappey · 17/03/2016 18:10

Interesting!

SeekEveryEveryKnownHidingPlace · 17/03/2016 18:15

But Jess is an old face - or that's how I'd expect her to be described. 'Helen encounters a face from the past' or something.

Yes, 'called to action' on 4th April does sound promising. Though you'd think 'appalled' or 'shattered' would be more appropriate than 'confused' for Pat in such circs. That said, you'd think a lot of things would be more appropriate from Pat than the drivel she comes out with these days.

LowDudgeon · 17/03/2016 18:23

Maybe Pat will find out how wrong she's been about Rob (& Helen) over the last few months. That would be pretty confusing

Toomuchtea · 17/03/2016 18:27

I hope Pat does twig, though she might be confused about Tom's feelings for Kirsty. Or about why the pastured eggs are selling so badly in the shop when they're selling so well everywhere else. Or why Tony has sounded so different the past year or two.

Stickerrocks · 17/03/2016 18:52

So disappointed that this is dragging on after Easter. I had hoped that here would be a show down with pasteurised eggs being flung and Rob looking shell-shocked with yolk dripping from his hair as the whole village leapt to Helen's defence.

glowfrog · 17/03/2016 19:07

Maybe Jess is the unexpected visitor at the shop? She could return, having realised Rob is who he is, and she heard Helen was expecting - and just had to do something.

magnificatAnimaMea · 17/03/2016 19:16

Surely the new face and new friend are the same, i.e. the baby?
Kirsty is called to take Helen to hospital, Pat is confused because she thought Helen wanted a home birth... Fallon gets grilled by Knob who isn't being allowed into the hospital because Kirsty's keeping him away...

mummytime · 17/03/2016 19:31

I wonder if Helen ends up in a refuge, and Rob is looking for her at Fallon's.

BoreOfWhabylon · 17/03/2016 19:33

I like your thinking magnificat

And thanks Gasp0de

Wonder if it will all finally end with Knob flipping out at not getting his own way and some sort of hostage/violent situation?

OP posts:
BYOSnowman · 17/03/2016 19:41

The problem is that it needs to end in a way that shows women suffering this that they will be believed - so rob flipping out in front of witnesses may not be great

Gruach · 17/03/2016 20:03

In labour on the 4th, birth on 5th, Henry meets sibling on 7th? And it will be in hospital - with Kirty's help.

Fingers crossed.

Gruach · 17/03/2016 20:04
  • Or wot magnificat had already said!Blush
Stickerrocks · 17/03/2016 20:56

I wonder if Kirsty realises that Helen's phone is monitored and is going to get her a secret one tomorrow. By 31st she may be trying to persuade her to leave, but doesn't want to push her too far because of her previous reactions.

Fink · 18/03/2016 09:50

SOC is the initials of the editor, Sean O'Connor. The one who's about to leave.
