OK, this was posted on another site on January 1st 2014

'Based upon a letter in the DM from a reader who alleged they had overheard "an obnoxiously loud member of TA production team" in a Birmingham restaurant. Believe it at your peril.

Rob is revealed to be homophobic.
Jill will move into Brookfield.
The Grundy's to move back to Grange Farm.
Tom will take over the running of Bridge Farm after Tony has an accident.
Lower Loxley may burn down, but that has yet to be decided upon.
Lynda is to stage Blithe Spirit next Christmas.

Or not, as the case may be...'

How much more will come to pass, I wonder?

Now this sounds promising. Who's Lauren?

RADIO TIMES 12 - 18 MARCH 2016

Bert and Lynda are at loggerheads over how the anniversary of the flood should be marked.

There is much debate about Rob who, despite his heroic actions during that pivotal week, isn't everyone's cup of tea.

Rob is still wrapping up his controlling behaviour in care and romance - to the extent that Pat is now worried that Helen is avoiding her. Come on, Pat! When are those blinkers going to come off?

Especially now Rob is throwing a strop at not being consulted about the new stock that Tom has agreed for the shop.

Pip is fearing for the survival of her relationship with Matthew.
Which kind of earplugs would you like dear listener: foam or wax?

Ambridge is teaming with activity as Bert completes the egg-mobile for Josh and the Fairbrothers.

Lynda's shepherd's hut is busily being built and her play - England's Pleasant Land - gets it's first reading.

Brian's finding Home Farm hectic with Lillian getting under his feet and he's not the only one feeling vexed.

Pip fears for her relationship with Matthew - could this be a good time for Rex to put in a romantic bid?

David and Ruth are happy with the new herd.

Eddie's party goes with a swing.

Pat fears Helen's avoiding her and she's not the only one.

Kirsty's also uneasy, but Rob's controlling behaviour continues.

LowDudgeon · 08/03/2016 16:04

The pothole was on the way out from Bridge Farm. As it was big enough for Fallon to notice & comment on as a passenger, if Helen is now stupid enough not to notice it on foot she completely deserves whatever follows

BoreOfWhabylon · 08/03/2016 16:11

Yes, but there was no reason to mention it at all, except as a plot device.

Certainly looks as if things are gathering speed now...

(Didn't Tom have a fling with a Lauren? Or was Lauren that american girl that Ed was entangled with a while back?)

OP posts:
Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 08/03/2016 16:31

Yes, Lauren came up on the main thread quite recently as the young woman who sang in The Mikado. Surely it can't be her? Or maybe she is now a midwife, or there's another midwife called Lauren? The American girl was Beth, I think.

BoreOfWhabylon · 08/03/2016 16:45

yy Beth. Of course

What is the shocking discovery that Clarrie makes?
Something in the dairy?
To do with the cheese?

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 10/03/2016 17:04

My money's on something ferret-related. Grin

GruntledOne · 12/03/2016 07:25

Perhaps Clarrie's shocking discovery is Stefan's body. Preferably complete with incriminating photograph of Rob skulking round the culvert. Well, you can always dream.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 15/03/2016 14:23

RADIO TIMES 19 - 25 MARCH 2016

Alf Grundy is winning hearts and minds in the village, with Clarrie declaring him a changed man. But has she spoken too soon?

Later in the week she makes a shocking discovery and ends up losing it with Alf.

Lynda feels the pressure as her upcoming pageant threatens to turn into another magnum opus.

It doesn't help that Bert comes up with an idea that poleaxes Lynda.
As she suggests a peaceful compromise that would suit her own ends, Bert tugs on the heartstrings. Who will win the day?

It looks like Helen is finally reaching a turning point as a determined Kirsty tries to bring her friend to her senses. Will Helen be galvanised into taking action?

TOTAL TV GUIDE 19 - 25 MARCH 2016

Alf Grundy's made quite an impression on the village - and closer to home, too, where Clarrie declares him a changed man. But has she spoken too soon?

Rex and Toby hit a last-minute problem with the hens.

Chef Wayne is dividing opinion at the Bull.

Lynda and Bert have gardening on their minds, although they're pulling in opposite directions.

The pageant is giving cause for concern.

Helen loses it when Henry lets slip a 'secret' to her at Ursula's farewell party, and is soon backtracking.

Kirsty is determined to help her friend. Can she finally get through to Helen?

Gruach · 15/03/2016 14:30

Ah! Won't the secret be about great hulking teenage Henry packing his trunk for school?

(Five you say? Surely some mistake ...)

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 15/03/2016 14:49

It's Easter at the end of next week. I think we might be on track for a big development. Perhaps even the beginning of the end?

ElementaryMyDear · 15/03/2016 14:55

Ursula buggering off! Henry letting out secrets! Kirsty!

Is a tiny chink of light appearing at the end of the tunnel?

EasyToEatTiger · 15/03/2016 16:41

Any lights at the end of the tunnel are those of the oncoming train...Gloooom. More gloooom.

SeekEveryEveryKnownHidingPlace · 15/03/2016 17:29

That does sound tentatively positive! But what does Helen 'backtrack' on - having 'lost it', or the whole boiling? Here's hoping the latter!

MrsArthurShappey · 15/03/2016 21:33

Mmn I wondered that, it's worded strangely. It could mean Henry backtracks but more likely Helen. We don't want her backtracking for goodness' sake. Or 'losing it', we need her calmly, determinedly steaming ahead into a future without His Knobness.

MrsArthurShappey · 15/03/2016 21:34

But what could possibly happen to convince Rob that arse can leave?

Gruach · 16/03/2016 01:28

If controlling Helen is taking more energy than he'd anticipated, because of his mother's presence, then that tactic isn't working so he might as well let her go home. Though I'm sure he'll turn it to his advantage somehow.

Wonder what the SWs will bring out next to keep ramping up the tension until SOK is ready to appear.

Stickerrocks · 16/03/2016 10:40

Perhaps she is going to backtrack and realise that Kirsty was right all along. Henry may reveal a secret about boarding school, or Daddy brainwashing him and the final piece in the jigsaw puzzle may click into place in her brain. Please let her get hold of her mobile phone again and speak to Kirsty.

ElementaryMyDear · 16/03/2016 10:47

Maybe Arsula will dare to do something that undermines Rob leading to her being encouraged to leave. For him that would have the advantage of pretending to give in to Helen's irrational demands, and maybe he thinks she's sufficiently worried about her mental health that she won't risk trying to do anything dangerously independent.

SeekEveryEveryKnownHidingPlace · 16/03/2016 17:47

But wasn't Ursula only staying until Easter anyway?

SeekEveryEveryKnownHidingPlace · 16/03/2016 18:44

I think I'm going to need those spoilers below in mind to get through tonight's episode though!

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 16/03/2016 22:56

I'm drawing some comfort from the spoilers. I've just got two more:

Easter Sunday 27th March
It is all the fun of the fair and Peggy has cause for concern.

Easter Monday 28th March
Lynda is kept in suspense and Alan gets a shock.

Now fantasising about Alan finding Helen in the church, seeking sanctuary.

Helen and SOC are going to be on Woman's Hour on Tuesday 29th March talking about coervice control. Hmmmm.

glowfrog · 17/03/2016 07:34

So glad I've found this thread. The whole Rob/Helen thing is so painful. Is there around here where we can share fantasies of all the horrible ends we'd like him to meet?

glowfrog · 17/03/2016 07:37

What does SOC stand for? Some Of the Cast?

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 17/03/2016 07:45
