OK, this was posted on another site on January 1st 2014

'Based upon a letter in the DM from a reader who alleged they had overheard "an obnoxiously loud member of TA production team" in a Birmingham restaurant. Believe it at your peril.

Rob is revealed to be homophobic.
Jill will move into Brookfield.
The Grundy's to move back to Grange Farm.
Tom will take over the running of Bridge Farm after Tony has an accident.
Lower Loxley may burn down, but that has yet to be decided upon.
Lynda is to stage Blithe Spirit next Christmas.

Or not, as the case may be...'

How much more will come to pass, I wonder?

Fingers crossed. In the past Johnny has been his own man - but the cricket incident has shaken my confidence.

Anyway, even if he did leave he could come back when the sinkhole swallows Rob.

BYOSnowman · 29/02/2016 18:48

Johnny leaving would destroy pat and Tony

They may not have noticed rob is abusing their daughter or trying to get rid of their sons sausage empire but they will notice if there is a hint that he is trying to get rid of Johnny

Maybe that's how it will go - they will order rob off the premises and Helen will 'side' with him - this isolating her more and potentially with ursula insisting they all move in with her

Radio Times 5th-11th March
Mother's day gives Helen the opportunity for yet more rest. Distanced from her family and friends - especially with Rob's mother making her presence felt - Helen briefly escapes her isolation.

Events come to a head at Blossom Hill Cottage.

At the Bull, Kenton succumbs to the green eyed monster when Jolene's ex-husband Wayne (and his cooking) finds favour with the customers.

The Clean for the Queen event is in full flow, with Lynda's ambitious showpiece garden plans encouraging artistic flair all round.

The Grundys plan Eddie's 65th birtday party.

Lillian has a lightbulb moment as to who should be nominated for Borsetshire Businesswoman of the Year.

TOTAL TV GUIDE 5 - 11 MARCH 2016

Mother's Day gets a mixed reception in Ambridge.

Ruth is dreading her first without Heather.

Pip has relationship issues.

Josh drives a hard bargain with the Fairbrothers as their egg business booms.

The Grundy's plan Eddie's 65th birthday party.

Residents muck in with the Clean for Queen event.

Lynda's in full gardening mode.

Lillian has a lightbulb moment about Borsetsire Businesswoman of the Year.

Helen grows even more distant from her family and friends, while her past returns to haunt her after a quarrel.

Things come to a head at Blossom Cottage.

------------------

My stomach's lurching just thinking about what's going to happen. Sad

BoreOfWhabylon · 01/03/2016 23:38

Helen's past returns to haunt her

And mention of an 'intriguing young visitor' up thread somewhere

It's Annette, isn't it? Finally come back after vsiting her nan in Sheffield or somewhere all those years ago.

Or Greg's other daughter - Michelle, was it?

OP posts:
Gruach · 02/03/2016 06:08

Thanks Gasp0...

Do they really mean "things come to a head" or is it a sort of pun? The wording is very specific.

I was hoping the intriguing young visitor might be Doc Locke's daughter - but I guess Annette is a possibility.

How might Helen briefly escape? Phone call to the Samaritans? Hallucination? Loss of consciousness?Sad

Businesswoman of the year. Gotta be Kate - although no business has been done. Or one of : Elizabeth, Shula, Ruth, Pip, Fallon, Jolene? Would be interesting if Lillian suggested Helen!

It hasn't happened lately but the BBC have been rather fond of a week of trailers if they're planning something major in Ambridge - I'll be looking out for them.

A few more spoilers:

Fri 11th March Temperatures are raised behind closed curtains. Meanwhile, the curtains at the village hall are proudly hung.
Sun 13th Teaser for omnibus: Helen makes a mistake, while Rob and Henry have plenty of work on their hands on Mother's Day.
Sun 13th pm Bert and Lynda have a difference of opinion, and Rex has an opportunity for the taking.
Mon 14th Mr Grundy goes to college, and Helen has an appointment.

I thought Annette was a good guess, but the RT has Sasha Locke in the cast list for the week ending Fri 11th.

Gruach · 02/03/2016 10:53

I ruuuuuule!Grin

BoreOfWhabylon · 02/03/2016 10:56

Gruach Grin

Thanks Gasp - looks like it's continuing to ratchet up toward some sort of denouement then

OP posts:
MrsArthurShappey · 02/03/2016 14:01

Mr Grundy goes to college yessssss!

MrsArthurShappey · 02/03/2016 14:02

How old is Sasha Locke?

Gruach · 02/03/2016 14:30

Did Doc Locke say 12? I know she was of an age that prompted me to immediately marry her off to Freddie. Grin

BYOSnowman · 02/03/2016 14:33

Will she be an irregular visitor or will her ma be killed off a la siobhan to pave the way for full time residence?

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 05/03/2016 07:43

Eastpoint · 05/03/2016 07:49

So is Clarry the saviour we've been waiting for? I keep reading threads & if the radio is on switching off as soon as I hear Rob, Helen & now Arseula. As I'm usually preparing dinner I sometimes hear more than I'd like by the time I've walked across the kitchen.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 05/03/2016 07:53

The trouble is Clarrie's epiphany could just as easily be ferret-related. Grin

Eastpoint · 05/03/2016 08:01

First I thought maybe it'll be to do with the shop, dodgy orders etc then I remembered Clarry doesn't work in the Bridge Farm Shop...

Gruach · 05/03/2016 11:00

Alf? Alf? Who?Confused

I keep waiting for the spoiler that says "Everyone gets what they deserve and Ambridge lives happily ever after." But it never seems to come.Sad

Thanks though!

LowDudgeon · 05/03/2016 11:25

Eddie's brother is called Alf. Can't be him though, surely?

Helen's call follows Henry's secret...???

Stickerrocks · 05/03/2016 19:50

Please let Henry spill the beans to Tony or Uncle Tom. Maybe, just maybe, Helen will have a sudden epiphany and pluck up the courage to call Kirsty or Tom. I had hoped that things coming to a head at Blossom Hill Cottage next week would be the grand finale, but obviously not.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 06/03/2016 22:32

Henry reveals a secret. Coiuld it be this? 'Mummy, Gwanny Uwsula and Wob said this was a secwet, but because I'm a big boy now they're going to send me to a boarding school as soon as they can find one that takes five-year-olds.' Sad

SeekEveryEveryKnownHidingPlace · 08/03/2016 10:32

How do we think Helen is going to put her foot in it then?

BoreOfWhabylon · 08/03/2016 12:55

She's going to fall into the pothole that was oh-so-casually mentioned the other day.

This will ensure that she is forbidden from walking anywhere at all and will be confined to her room, languishing on a chaise longue

OP posts:
BYOSnowman · 08/03/2016 13:11

Isn't she already housebound though?

BoreOfWhabylon · 08/03/2016 15:18

Yes, but she can still walk.

Knob and Arsula will probably lop her leg off so she has to be carried around everywhere on a sofa, like Signora Neroni in Barchester Towers (although Sig N didn't let that cramp her style)

OP posts:
Gruach · 08/03/2016 15:23

Wasn't the pothole in or near Bridge Farm? If so, perhaps Helen's prospective sprained ankle will have to rest there for a couple of days?

(It's no use, I can't convince myself that anything good will happen for her ever again ...)
