OK, this was posted on another site on January 1st 2014

'Based upon a letter in the DM from a reader who alleged they had overheard "an obnoxiously loud member of TA production team" in a Birmingham restaurant. Believe it at your peril.

Rob is revealed to be homophobic.
Jill will move into Brookfield.
The Grundy's to move back to Grange Farm.
Tom will take over the running of Bridge Farm after Tony has an accident.
Lower Loxley may burn down, but that has yet to be decided upon.
Lynda is to stage Blithe Spirit next Christmas.

Or not, as the case may be...'

How much more will come to pass, I wonder?

Radio Times 3-8 Jan says:

The Archers this week ...

While Phoebe waits to hear if she' got a place at Oxford, Jennifer seems more nervous and reflects on her own life and achievements.

Rob and Helen are thinking about their unborn child and one issue to be sorted out is godparents. What's the betting that Rob ends up getting his way, by fair means or foul?

The future of Berrow Farm is up for discussion, but where will this leave Charlie? Eddie, meanwhile is full of big ideas, but as ever there's the issue of finance. It looks like this latest scheme will be giving Clarrie yet another headache.

The Fairbrothers are considering an expansion - but any proposal will have to get past David and Ruth.

Gruach · 31/12/2015 20:23

I've just seen SOC's comments about the 65 anniversary episode in the Telegraph.

So I'll spend NYE biting my fingernails.

Dipankrispaneven · 01/01/2016 00:45

Maybe Charlie and Adam will put together some sort of buyout proposal for Berrow? Glad to see that Helen seems to make it to her pamper day without it being sabotaged by Knob, let's hope she finally opens up to Kirsty. I'm guessing Phoebe's dilemma is whether to accept the Oxford place in the teeth of heavy pressure from her idiot boyfriend.

Gruach · 01/01/2016 12:47

When SOC says tonight "will be defining for the Archers" does he mean all or part of the family or does he mean for the programme we listen to?Xmas Confused

MimsyPimsy · 01/01/2016 19:08

Anyone else think they are going to kill off Jill quietly at the end...

MimsyPimsy · 01/01/2016 19:22

... ha, must have been wishful thinking! That was an anti-climax for me!

Dipankrispaneven · 02/01/2016 19:51

Crisis at Bridge Farm? Tom ready to know a secret? I'm hoping that's something to do with the truth about Knob beginning to come out, but I suspect it's optimistic.

TopOfTheCliff · 02/01/2016 23:39

Tom and Kirsty getting back together again??

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 06/01/2016 10:50

More spoilers.

RADIO TIMES 9 - 15 JAN 2016

Helen is feeling inspired and wants to take inititative in the farm shop - but will Rob be supportive? I'm guessing not, as he seems to have strong opinions about what Helen should be prioritising.

Rex and Toby are in the mood to celebrate - it looks like they've bought themselves more time to develop as farmers.

But if only Rex's love life was so happy as there seems to be a rival for a certain young lady's affection.

Phoebe is also suffering in her relationship as she tries to puzzle out her future.

Plough Sunday sees Ed trying to get over his nerves about public speaking.

As Charlie looks to his future, can he let go of Ambridge, and its familiar people and places?

TOTAL TV GUIDE 9 - 15 JAN 2016

It hasn't been a good year for most dairy farmers, including David, but he has been enjoying some good fortune of late, although things are a little confused on the home front.

Rex and Toby are going full steam ahead with their farming plans too, but if only their love lives were as straightforward.

Helen is feeling inspired and is dying to take the reins at the farm shop. Needless to say, Rob has other plans for her. And while he's at it, he's not mad about the company she's keeping, either.

As Charlie looks to the future, can he truly let go of Ambridge - and Adam?

Ian is in no mood for a party.

GruntledOne · 06/01/2016 16:49

What good fortune has David been enjoying of late? The only plus seems to be Ruth deciding not to boot him.

And let's hope Phoebe boots Alex if he tries to stop her going to Oxford.

JackandDiane · 07/01/2016 06:57

So the big reveal was THE MOST DULL EVER. Ruth is sounding like a born again Christian. I'm so glad ian was tough on Helen

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 13/01/2016 13:32

And more.

RADIO TIMES 16 - 22 JAN 2016

It's fair to say that the 65th anniversary episode divided listeners - some praising the traditional agricultural flavour, others labelling it dull and boring.

As for David and Ruth (who were at the centre of the drama) they remain prominent this week as they decide that there's no room for failure at Brookfield - no matter what the future of the farm may be.

Kirsty's howl as she was jilted at the altar by Tom lives long in the memories of the listeners, so it's heartening she now seems happy to talk about weddings. Has she finally got over her horrible experience with Tom?

Charlie is still feeling torn, although his relationship with Adam now seems a distant memory.

TOTAL TV GUIDE 16 - 22 JAN 2016

The villagers are looking to the future as Pip considers a trip - but where will she be going, and who with?

Jazzer and Jim long to be back in their flood hit homes.

The Fairbrothers plot their next business venture.

Tom hopes an unusual gourmet secret will boost trade at the Bridge Farm shop, while Fallon has ideas of her own.

Ian has food for thought, as have David and Co at Brookfield - they can't afford to mess up the next step.

Rob and Helen have surprising news for Pat.

Kirsty finally seems to be putting the jilting disaster behind her.

If only Charlie could move on ....

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 13/01/2016 17:01

Now have the proper spoiler for Friday 15th.

It is a time for farewells. And Rob is helping Helen to move on.

Hmmm.

A few more:

Sun 24 Jan Adam seems to have forgotten something, and conflict erupts at Bridge Farm.
Mon 25 Jan The Bull needs more manpower, and Pip is making every moment count.

Promising?

GruntledOne · 13/01/2016 20:01

Rob and Helen have surprising news for Pat.

It's not going to be good news, is it? Let's hope Pat is now out of Patbot mode.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 14/01/2016 10:02

Surely he wouldn't try to get her to stop making cheese?

Gruach · 14/01/2016 10:26

Ah. Yes. Are her cheeses unpasteurised? That'll be the next thing.

That or deciding they don't need other people to help them bring up the perfect child. So there'll be no christening.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 19/01/2016 18:15

More spoilers.

RADIO TIMES 23 - 29 JANUARY 2016

A milestone has been reached - Lynda and Robert Snell are celebrating 30 years in Ambridge. She's a mere newcomer compared with the Archer clan, but three decades is still something to be marked and Eddie is certainly honouring the occasion, especially when Lynda mentions her need for a handyman.

It's more tense for Rob and Helen as the subject of money comes up again. Come on Helen, wake up and smell the Borsetshire Blue! You need to leave this man!

Pip is worried about Matthew the contract milker finishing his time at Brookfield - how much longer can he stick around?

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 19/01/2016 18:16

TOTAL TV GUIDE 23 - 29 JANUARY 2016

Ideas are on the agenda this week as Fallon's events catering gets a boost from a resourceful friend.

Tom teams up with an unlikely partner on a new gourmet recipe.

Kenton's firing on all cylinders at the Bull. It's Burns Night but Jolene's feeling the pressure - is it time to hire more staff?

Matthew's nearing the end of his time at Brookfield and Pip will be sorry to say goodbye - unlike the Fairbrothers, who don't appreciate his poultry advice.

Lynda's considering a special anniversary.

David faces a moment of truth.

What is it that's troubling Adam?

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 19/01/2016 18:19

Is Helen overdoing things? could have been a spoiler most nights for the last few months. Sad

GruntledOne · 19/01/2016 18:44

Good news if Lil is going to get a storyline.

Gruach · 25/01/2016 15:37

Thanks Gasp0de. I don't like the sound of Friday ...Angry

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 27/01/2016 20:37

RADIO TIMES 30 JAN - 5 FEB 2016

Lillian seems to have got her groove back, but doesn't seem ready to return to her own place at the Dower House. Could it be time for Jennifer to have a delicate chat with Brian? Or might it be best to let his rage heat the whole of Home Farm during the winter months?

Jim has his binoculars at the ready as the village takes part in the RSPB's Big Garden Bird Watch.

The prospect of the village hall reopening has got Lynda all of a twitter.

Rob is keeping a watchful eye on Helen who is keen to carry on working at the shop. What's the betting Rob finds a way to prove she's overdoing things? That man won't be satisfied until he's created Ambridge's very own version of Room.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 27/01/2016 20:38

TOTAL TV GUIDE 30 JAN - 5 FEB 2016

Toby's only too happy to offer advice when circumstances work against Pip and Matthew.

Kate faces up to business problems.

Lillian seem to have got her mojo back.

Ruth's excited about Brookfield's future as she considers her journey with David.

Lynda's determined the village hall reopening at Easter will be a huge success - only the finest soft furnishings.

Jolene's about to make an important appointment.

Helen is keen to continue working, but is she overdoing it?

GruntledOne · 28/01/2016 09:08

I wonder if the "lovely surprise" for Brian is ironic, and it's going to turn out to be the wonderful news that Lillian isn't moving out after all.

SeekEveryEveryKnownHidingPlace · 28/01/2016 10:29

Henry is going on a little trip ?? Lovely open day to visit cousin Ruiridh, one way ticket only?
