OK, this was posted on another site on January 1st 2014

'Based upon a letter in the DM from a reader who alleged they had overheard "an obnoxiously loud member of TA production team" in a Birmingham restaurant. Believe it at your peril.

Rob is revealed to be homophobic.
Jill will move into Brookfield.
The Grundy's to move back to Grange Farm.
Tom will take over the running of Bridge Farm after Tony has an accident.
Lower Loxley may burn down, but that has yet to be decided upon.
Lynda is to stage Blithe Spirit next Christmas.

Or not, as the case may be...'

How much more will come to pass, I wonder?

I came on here hoping for reassurances that Helen would be able to go on the Blackberry line trip and talk to Kirsty at last, but I'm not sure that's it's looking good. If Helen needs a friend on Wednesday it suggests she may not meet her friend on Tuesday, though I suppose it relates to the scan appointment. "Is Helen overdoing things?" is liable to be Rob using the scan etc to stop her working altogether and isolate her even more.

BYOSnowman · 01/02/2016 12:38

Helens keen to keep working but is she overdoing it?

From what I've been listening to she doesn't seem to be doing any work

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 01/02/2016 13:42

A few more.

7 February Rob is feeling protective, and Kirsty is getting some male attention.
8 February Is the Bank of Peggy doing business today? Pip is feeling flat.
9 February Jolene is turning up the heat in the kitchen, and the Fairbrothers need to mobilise.
10 February Rex offers a friendly ear, and Bert is lending his handyman skills.
11 February Brian has all his women around him, and Lilian is feeling Gee-Geed up.
12 February Henry is widening his vocabulary, and is Pip feeling more hopeful?

I'll need to brace myself for Sunday. Rob feeling protective? Oh dear. Sad

Gruach · 01/02/2016 13:59

It's very good of you to do all this Gasp0!Flowers

I'm still a bit worried about Ruth. Too much loving going on at Brookfield - Nigel was utterly delighted with life just before he left it ...

Bank of Peggy? Rob rubbing his oily hands and being ever so humble? I'd like to see Johnny being offered a share of the money pile; perhaps a gap year jaunt even though he's not going to Oxford.

And didn't I say Justin would give Lil the horse? Grin Done deal.

BYOSnowman · 01/02/2016 14:00

Henry widens his vocabulary 'anorexia'?

Do you think it will be something Henry says that suddenly makes pat sit up and think?

Bank of Peggy - rob going cap in hand?

Gruach · 01/02/2016 14:01

And I sincerely hope Henry is learning the word D I V O R C E.

Veritat · 01/02/2016 14:11

Henry's widening his vocabulary with "Mummy's such a silly billy, isn't she?" and "Daddy only wants what's best for Mummy and his baby".

SeekEveryEveryKnownHidingPlace · 01/02/2016 16:59

Maybe Henwee will copy 'bitch', which Rob has already said once and been ineffectually shushed by Hellin in case Henwee hears? Can't imagine it'll be any stronger than that - what's the Archers' swear limit? Bastard, bugger, sod?

Gruach · 01/02/2016 17:49

Maybe it'll be some nasty epithet aimed at Kirsty behind her back by Henry's lovely daddy?

BYOSnowman · 01/02/2016 17:56

'But mummy, daddy said she's a conniving bitch and said we shouldn't see her anymore'

TOTAL TV GUIDE 6 - 12 FEB 2016

It's all change at Brookfield as they prepare for the auction and look forward to the brand new herd arriving.

The honeymoon period seems to be fading for Pip and Matthew as their relationship hits a problem.

There's still unfinished business with the Fairbrothers, but will Rex ever make a move?

Lillian finds her business stride again after a day out with movers and shakers.

It's the opposite situation for Kate, who's having difficulties with her new venture.

Rob's concerned about Helen's health, but will she appreciate more help around the house?

It's Lynda and Robert's 30th year in Ambridge.

RADIO TIMES 6 - 12 FEB 2016

Valentine Day may be approaching but it seems like the honeymoon period is fading for Pip and Matthew as their relationship hits a challenge. Waiting in the wings, of course, is Rex - so will he make his move?

Lynda is also putting plans in motion as she prepares a production to celebrate rural life, just as she and Robert mark their 30th year in Ambridge.

Peggy and Jill reflect on the history of Brookfield while getting the cows ready for auction.

Worried about Helen's health, Rob vows to keep an even closer eye on her than usual (that is going to make her feel better!)

Kenton has a 'flipping' good idea for a certain culinary tradition at the Bull.

BYOSnowman · 04/02/2016 10:35

Why is Peggy helping to get the cows ready?

And why such a big deal about Kenton and his pancakes?

TopOfTheCliff · 05/02/2016 09:38

I could imagine Jill and Peggy having tea and cake (!) and chatting about all the work getting the cows ready. Not Peggy on her knees with a dandy brush under a cow.

GruntledOne · 06/02/2016 15:12

I now suspect that the Bank of Peggy reference will relate to Knob deciding that neither of them can go to work for the foreseeable and going to Peggy to fund them for the next 6 months minimum.

Gruach · 06/02/2016 15:16

Could be! Or it could be Kate needing to pay for her expensive thingamajig ...

SeekEveryEveryKnownHidingPlace · 06/02/2016 19:15

Rob's concerned about Helen's health, but will she appreciate more help around the house?

Ursula?

GruntledOne · 07/02/2016 12:54

More:

14 February Will Pip be a happy valentine? Jolene has got her man (and then some).
15 February A helping hand for Helen? Johnny is a chip off the old block.
16 February Pat gets some reassurance, and is Kirsty still feeling the romance of Valentine's Day?
17 February Bert gets a proposition. And who is the mystery suitor?
18 February It is a big day for Brookfield, and Brian has a fatherly sense of dread.
19 February Has someone got their eye on Kirsty? Lynda is feeling creative once again
21 February Is Brookfield all set for change? Jolene is making an effort for Lent.
22 February Don't be walking on eggshells around Bert, boys. Josh needs to use his initiative.
23 February It is never too late for a fresh start. And Pip has got her work cut out.
24 February Does 'Mum' know best? Clarrie tries to keep her house in order.
25 February As the Bridge Farm Archers remember John, Tom offers brotherly love.

Pat getting reassurance has to be Pat hearing what she wants to hear about Helen and believing it. Grrrr.

PseudoBadger · 07/02/2016 19:59

Not really a spoiler but shows no let-up yet I think!

PatrickMcGinty · 07/02/2016 20:10

Couldn't listen this evening, can anyone give a brief synopsis please? I gather from the other thread that Helen is in hospital.

GruntledOne · 07/02/2016 20:30

This one worried me:

Now, that’s serious. >>

@SusanDouglas70: Text from mother "it cannot go on like this, or I shall ring them"

Is that him saying that, as the script stands at the moment, it is going to "go on like this"?

I love it that his mum is telling him off about it!

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 07/02/2016 20:33

I think it's the tweeter's mother, not Keri's mother, but yes, I think the burden of his tweets tonight is that it's going to get worse before it gets better. Sad

GruntledOne · 07/02/2016 20:36

Oh, shame, I thought maybe his mum could bring home to him the need to bring this one to an end!

GruntledOne · 07/02/2016 21:26

Another Twitter mini spoiler:

Just interviewed Simon Williams (Justin Elliott) for the 2017 #TheArchers calendar. An absolutely charming man*

That's Justin firmly entrenched for at least a year, then.

TOTAL TV GUIDE 13 - 19 FEBRUARY 2016

A romantic film at The Bull puts Pip in the mood for Valentine's night, but is Matthew the man of her dreams, or will Rex prove a dark horse?

At Brookfield it's the end of an era and the start of a new chapter as Brian and Jennifer offer their support.

Lillian makes the most of the Borsetshire Businesswoman of the Year lunch.

Kate could be back to square one - what will Brian make of her fundraising ideas?

Marking 30 years in Ambridge is Lynda's priority.

Tension is rising at Bridge Farm where Tom wants more involvement from Helen.

Rob seems to be taking control and Kirsty's unease is growing.

RADIO TIMES 13 - 19 FEBRUARY 2016

Archers fans must be willing Kirsty on to uncover the truth about Rob. So far, she's the only one to have started to see through Helen's supposedly perfect husband. But next week's drama finds Tom starting to suspect that Rob is organising things at the shop. But whose side will Pat be on?

Pip is hoping for a happy Valentine's evening as Kenton's film choice plays at the Bull. But could there be a complication - in the shape of Rex?

Lynda is swept up in a sense of camaraderie as she looks forward to marking her 30th year in Ambridge. Cue a big community initiative and an idea for a grand Easter event.
