Tom will take over the running of Bridge Farm after Tony has an accident.
Lower Loxley may burn down, but that has yet to be decided upon.
Lynda is to stage Blithe Spirit next Christmas.

How much more will come to pass, I wonder?

I came on here hoping for reassurances that Helen would be able to go on the Blackberry line trip and talk to Kirsty at last, but I'm not sure that's it's looking good. If Helen needs a friend on Wednesday it suggests she may not meet her friend on Tuesday, though I suppose it relates to the scan appointment. "Is Helen overdoing things?" is liable to be Rob using the scan etc to stop her working altogether and isolate her even more.

Helens keen to keep working but is she overdoing it?

From what I've been listening to she doesn't seem to be doing any work

Henry's widening his vocabulary with "Mummy's such a silly billy, isn't she?" and "Daddy only wants what's best for Mummy and his baby".

Maybe Henwee will copy 'bitch', which Rob has already said once and been ineffectually shushed by Hellin in case Henwee hears? Can't imagine it'll be any stronger than that - what's the Archers' swear limit? Bastard, bugger, sod?

Maybe it'll be some nasty epithet aimed at Kirsty behind her back by Henry's lovely daddy?

Valentine Day may be approaching but it seems like the honeymoon period is fading for Pip and Matthew as their relationship hits a challenge. Waiting in the wings, of course, is Rex - so will he make his move?

Lynda is also putting plans in motion as she prepares a production to celebrate rural life, just as she and Robert mark their 30th year in Ambridge.

Peggy and Jill reflect on the history of Brookfield while getting the cows ready for auction.

Worried about Helen's health, Rob vows to keep an even closer eye on her than usual (that is going to make her feel better!)

Kenton has a 'flipping' good idea for a certain culinary tradition at the Bull.

Why is Peggy helping to get the cows ready?

And why such a big deal about Kenton and his pancakes?

I could imagine Jill and Peggy having tea and cake (!) and chatting about all the work getting the cows ready. Not Peggy on her knees with a dandy brush under a cow.

I now suspect that the Bank of Peggy reference will relate to Knob deciding that neither of them can go to work for the foreseeable and going to Peggy to fund them for the next 6 months minimum.

Could be! Or it could be Kate needing to pay for her expensive thingamajig ...

I think it's the tweeter's mother, not Keri's mother, but yes, I think the burden of his tweets tonight is that it's going to get worse before it gets better.

Oh, shame, I thought maybe his mum could bring home to him the need to bring this one to an end!
