OK, this was posted on another site on January 1st 2014

'Based upon a letter in the DM from a reader who alleged they had overheard "an obnoxiously loud member of TA production team" in a Birmingham restaurant. Believe it at your peril.

Rob is revealed to be homophobic.
Jill will move into Brookfield.
The Grundy's to move back to Grange Farm.
Tom will take over the running of Bridge Farm after Tony has an accident.
Lower Loxley may burn down, but that has yet to be decided upon.
Lynda is to stage Blithe Spirit next Christmas.

Or not, as the case may be...'

How much more will come to pass, I wonder?

OP posts:
Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 29/11/2015 17:37

Another fortnight's worth (almost):

13 December Warning stags in pub. Roy and Kirsty go over their lines.
14 December Adam and Ian are getting married, and Lynda faces a casting crisis.
15 December A happy anniversary for David and Ruth? Toby has a proposition.
16 December Come and get Eddie's finest quality mistletoe! Rob has an idea about Christmas.
17 December Has Lynda bitten off more than she can chew? David swallows some hard figures.
18 December David gets some news, and a new resident offers a warm welcome.

20 December It is a big day for Eddie, and is Susan organising a cover up?
21 December David feels vulnerable, and Helen just needs a good rest.
22 December There is a gathering at Keeper's Cottage, and a new taker for one of Susan's tabards.
23 December Does Rob have Christmas all wrapped up? The Fairbrothers are off to market
24 December Contemporary drama in a rural setting.
25 December Contemporary drama in a rural setting

New resident at Keeper's who immediately volunteers at the shop? I'm assuming this is Sian Phillips. Hmm.

There's some hope there that Ruth isn't coming home from NZ on schedule, but that might be wishful thinking on my part.

I wonder if they're holding back the spoilers for Christmas or if it's just a glitch.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 29/11/2015 17:46

Assorted other bits. Many thanks to those who assiduously add these to the two Mustardland sites!

RADIO TIMES 28 NOV - 4 DEC 2015

Rob's mollycoddling of Helen becomes ever more grating as he continues to look after Henry and have further dealings with Pat and Tony. Will he also use some village gossip to his advantage and reveal all to Helen about what he's recently been told?

David suffers a setback and finds himself in need of outside help on the farm.

Over at Lower Loxley it seems that Lynda's production of Calendar Girls has completely taken over.

Rex and Toby's charm offensive gets bolder as they make plans for a rugby event.

And it looks as if it's going to be a grim festive season for the Grundys.

TOTAL TV GUIDE 28 NOV - 4 DEC 2015

With the Christmas lights on, Ambridge looks forward to the Bull and village shop reopening - but will David turn up for the big event, burying the hatchet with Kenton once and for all?

Eddie gets a shock during the Calendar Girls photo shoot, but he's facing a grim Christmas with uncertainty about future living arrangements still hanging over the family.

He's not the only one dreading the festivities - Charlie doesn't know where he'll be.

Bert prepares to plant Freda's rose.

Rob and Helen wonder whether to learn the sex of their baby.

The Fairbrothers get stuck into community life.

RADIO TIMES 5 DEC - 11 DEC 2015

It's killing season as the Fairbrothers get ready to slaughter their geese and the Grundys go plucking crazy with their turkeys. Not that Eddie and co are feeling upbeat about the task at hand - in fact they're downright miserable at the prospect of this being the last time they do it. Surely they're due some good luck soon?

As well as geese-culling, Rex and Toby are also indulging in some brotherly rivalry over Pip. Keen to impress in their touch-rugby game, will Toby play by the rules?

Helen is still feeling stifled and keen to buy new clothes, but what's the betting that Rob finds a reason to object?

Brian is looking forward to Lillian moving back to her own place. He's relieved that his drinks cabinet is getting a break.

TOTAL TV GUIDE 5 DEC - 11 DEC 2015

David has a lot on his mind this week. He suffers a setback on the farm, is attending a conference, and hopes his wedding anniversary gift for Ruth will bridge some of the distance between them.

The Fairbrothers are preparing their geese for Christmas, with Pip on board to help.

There's less enthusiasm over at the Grundys where turkey plucking this year is a miserable affair given their housing dilemma - is there a glimmer of hope?

With Ian and Adam busy with wedding preparations, Charlie ponders his future.

Phoebe has an important announcement.

Tartyflette · 29/11/2015 20:37

Sounds like deliberate misinformation to me.

Tartyflette · 29/11/2015 20:41

Sorry, my post was re Gruntled 's last comment about KD's assessment of Rob.

FinestGrundyTurkey · 29/11/2015 21:33

Yes, I thought that too, Tarty
TA a personnel are supposed to be cagey in public
Rob has been so horrible to so many people over so many issues there's no way he isn't actually a horrible person Grin

Gruach · 07/12/2015 19:21

Ok. Now I'm scared. Wasn't that Sian Phillips just now being Ursula?

So how can she also be the person in Calendar Girls?

Unless ...Xmas Shock

Rob would do a murder.

Gruach · 07/12/2015 19:24

I'm going to throw in the possibility, based on tonight's episode, that Ursula will soon have packed a bag and rented a little place in Ambridge.

Dipankrispaneven · 07/12/2015 22:26

Well, there's a new resident on the 18th, closely followed by a new taker for a tabard. I guess that could well be Ursula, eager to get total control of Knobspawn. With any luck the prospect of being in the clutch of two control freaks will finally persuade Helen to do something about it.

Gruach · 07/12/2015 23:44

The thing is - that really would be blatant EE. Much too sledgehammery for TA. Is this what it's come to?

(Although if his DM is in the Christmas show Rob might just die noisily of apoplexy. That would be funny.)

LillianGish · 08/12/2015 06:46

Maybe Ursula (is it Sian Phillips???) will move in with Knob and Hellin to help look after the precious snowflake - ironic if the only person Helen is allowed to see is someone a knob has been avoiding thus far. Will she and Lynda bond over their grandmotherly roles and is that how she gets a part in Calendar girls?
Any ideas what old news is big news for Kirsty might refer to?

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 08/12/2015 07:25

Ursula isn't Sian Phillips. No mistaking SP's voice and that wasn't it.

I think SP is going to be the new tenant of Keeper's, taking part in Calendar Girls, working in the shop, becoming the life and soul of the village and then in the New Year being utterly forgotten about again.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 08/12/2015 07:34

OK, incoming:

20 December It is a big day for Eddie, and is Susan organising a cover up?
21 December David feels vulnerable, and Helen just needs a good rest.
22 December There is a gathering at Keeper's Cottage, and a new taker for one of Susan's tabards.
23 December Does Rob have Christmas all wrapped up? The Fairbrothers are off to market
24 December It is Christmas Eve in Ambridge, and Lynda is just grateful for what she has.
25 December Will Eddie's Christmas surprise be a hit or a turkey? Elizabeth offers some sisterly support.

27 December Will all be alright on opening night? David has hopes of his own.
28 December Elizabeth has fond memories, and Lynda hopes for a kind critique
29 December Helen and Rob have a proposition, and there is a welcome face at Lower Loxley
30 December Brian can always be relied on for his discretion, and Phoebe seems to be on a roll.
31 December Pip is in hot demand on New Year's Eve, as the Grundys make plans for the future.
1 January Will a brand new year offer a brand new start?

I feel moderately sure that Ruth isn't coming home for Christmas, but this may just be wishful thinking. There's nothing in these to say one way or the other. Will watch out for what the Radio Times has to say and post that if I can.

Dipankrispaneven · 08/12/2015 08:15

So is the 20th the day the Grundys move into Grange Farm? Let's hope the brand new start in the New Year is the start of Knob's downfall.

BoreOfWhabylon · 08/12/2015 08:25

There's a big reveal Xmas Grin in the Mail www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-3349848/Archers-actresses-bare-Calendar-Girls-style-shoot-inspired-Ambridge-s-Christmas-show.html
today, which clears up the Sian Phillips mystery.

Also New Year's Day is the 65th anniversary and SOC promises it will be "definng for The Archers"

OP posts:
Gruach · 08/12/2015 08:29

Thanks Gasp0

I'm still slightly worried that Pip's announcement might be along the lines of "I went, I saw, it's not for me." But fingers crossed.

Rob and Helen's proposition? Moving Ursula in? Have a horrid feeling it might be moving Henry out to stay at Bridge Farm - because of course Helen can't be expected to cope with a child and a pregnancy (and Rob's DM).

LillianGish · 08/12/2015 10:54

Excellent find Bore

Gruach · 08/12/2015 19:20

Another prediction for the "defining" 65th anniversary: David's going to give up farming and follow Ruth to NZ where they will restore their marriage and live happily ever after. Pip will take over Brookfield.

(Because I have the feeling the SWs are sick to death of writing about two such dull characters ...)

polyhymnia · 09/12/2015 14:00

She could be a kind of updated Bathsheba Everdene!

BoreOfWhabylon · 10/12/2015 19:12

So, almost all that was predicted at the beginning of this thread has come to pass.

All we need now is for Lower Loxley to burn down Xmas Grin

OP posts:
Gruach · 10/12/2015 19:50

During the Calendar Girls performance?

BoreOfWhabylon · 10/12/2015 19:53

Oh Yes!!

Then they will all have to rush out with no clothes on!

And Roy can give a naked Elizabeth a fireman's lift Xmas Grin

OP posts:
Gruach · 10/12/2015 20:19

That will make utterly excellent radio ...

enochroot · 13/12/2015 15:31

Jean Harvey got a mention as the woman who took umbrage at Linda calling her Madam so Sian Philips is being edged in.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 24/12/2015 22:53

OK, here are a few more.

Sun 3rd - Jill's feeling excited and Jennifer has Oxford on her mind

Mon 4th - There's much praise for Brian and Eddie has big ideas

Tues 5th - Helen's hanging on the telephone and Rob comes to the rescue

Weds 6th - Phoebe calls for moral support and Helen feels hopeful

Thurs 7th - Is David having doubts? The Fairbrothers have a proposal

Fri 8th - Who fancies a race up Lakey Hill? Jennifer reflects on the past

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 29/12/2015 17:58

More!

10 January On Plough Sunday, Ed is feeling nervous. And Helen is getting pampered.
11 January Matthew the milker is making his mark. And what is the crisis at Bridge Farm?
12 January Jennifer has a party to organise. And Phoebe faces a dilemma.
13 January Wassail, wassail all over the town! (Our Queen needs advice - parents, don't let her down.).
14 January Is Ian feeling sociable? There is a wild chase, but not over a goose...
15 January Contemporary drama in a rural setting.

17 January Pip fancies a little trip, and Jazzer pines for home.
18 January Fallon has a brainwave, and Rob feels enlightened
19 January. Lynda is ready for a grand reopening, and Tom is ready to know a secret.
20 January Ian is thinking about the future, and there is no room for failure at Brookfield.
21 January Pat is rather taken by surprise, and Kirsty is talking weddings.
22 January Lilian enjoys being back in the saddle, and Rex and Toby need to choose their moment.

Hmmm. They're all pretty vague, aren't they?
