OK, this was posted on another site on January 1st 2014

'Based upon a letter in the DM from a reader who alleged they had overheard "an obnoxiously loud member of TA production team" in a Birmingham restaurant. Believe it at your peril.

Rob is revealed to be homophobic.
Jill will move into Brookfield.
The Grundy's to move back to Grange Farm.
Tom will take over the running of Bridge Farm after Tony has an accident.
Lower Loxley may burn down, but that has yet to be decided upon.
Lynda is to stage Blithe Spirit next Christmas.

Or not, as the case may be...'

How much more will come to pass, I wonder?

OP posts:
Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 27/10/2015 15:39

And still they come.

Sunday 1st November Helen is in a world of her own, and Kenton tries out some special material.

Monday 2nd November Clarrie is taken on a detour, and Helen is put on the spot.

Tuesday 3rd November The Fairbrothers have their work cut out, while David has a proposition for Ruth.

Wednesday 4th November A public meeting is held, and Eddie talks serious business.

Thursday 5th November Whose temperature's set to rise on bonfire night? Lynda has a spark of an idea.

Friday 6th November Jill is very much missed, and the Grundys try to keep their chins up.

Sunday 8th November The villagers mark Remembrance Sunday, and Eddie musters some fighting spirit.

I think Hazel is in the offing. Sad

stilllearnin · 28/10/2015 06:43

Ooh thanks Gaspode - I do enjoy these little sneak previews!

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 28/10/2015 07:10

So do I, stillearnin!

GruntledOne · 28/10/2015 07:16

I suspect it may be Jill's cooking skills that are missed at Brookfield, rather than Jill herself. Perhaps the family will revolt at whatever burnt offering Ruth produces and demand her return.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 28/10/2015 07:19

My thoughts exactly, GruntledOne. Three adults, albeit working full-time, one sixthformer, one teenager and not one of them can put together a decent meal or arrange an online food delivery. For that they need a woman in her 80s. Hmm

SevenOhTwo · 31/10/2015 16:38

Oh dear… As the regular thread is getting a little serious with the HellKnob convo I thought I'd pop in here and see if some light relief was on the cards, but two lots of Helen in a row to come… and in fact none of that is sounding particularly cheery - agree Hazel sounds likely for more misery for the Grundys. Sad

Perhaps Helen being put on the spot will be Kirsty and Fallon staging an intervention and the temperature rising on Bonfire Night will be Rob's as they run him out of town and burn his effigy on the bonfire

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 31/10/2015 16:41

We can all dream, 702! Grin

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 01/11/2015 10:18

Right, here are the spoilers for the next three weeks.

1 November. Helen is in a world of her own, and Kenton is wearing special cotton.
2 November Clarrie is taken on a detour, and Helen is put on the spot.
3 November David has a proposition for Ruth, and the Fairbrothers have their work cut out.
4 November It is time for a public meeting, and Eddie is talking turkey.
5 November Whose temperature is set to rise on bonfire night? Lynda has a spark of an idea.
6 November Jill is very much missed, and the Grundys try to keep their chins up.

8 November On Remembrance Sunday, Ambridge remembers the fallen. Eddie musters some fighting spirit.
9 November Someone appears to be in business, and has Lynda got her woman?
10 November There is another case for PC Harrison Burns, and Helen senses an opportunity.
11 November Charlie is put on the back foot, and Kenton is clearing his debts.
12 November Clarrie could do with a bit of luck, and Helen is at home in the office.
13 November Birthday boy Dan has a moment of clarity, and Ruth pauses for thought.

15 November Brian gets stuck in, and Ruth feels left out.
16 November Tony puts his foot down, and is Helen hiding something?
17 November Lynda is put on the spot, and there is news to hold up rehearsal.
18 November Will fortune favour the Fairbrothers? At Brookfield it is good to be useful.
19 November Eddie faces a real dilemma, and it is Rob to the rescue.
20 November Contemporary drama in a rural setting.

Gruach · 01/11/2015 10:27

Three weeks?!

Who are you bribing Gasp0?

Thanks though!Flowers

MrsCampbellBlack · 01/11/2015 11:17

I wonder if Helen will be hiding an actual bruise. Have just listened to omnibus and I think Rob is on the cusp of violence now

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 01/11/2015 13:20

I'm reluctant to say too much, Gruach, in case somebody ever starts faffing about C R G H T, but I got this batch from a bright yellow website where somebody pastes them in from time to time, and I suspect he gets them from D* S*. The Radio Times only shows a week ahead.

Overinfested doesn't really come close for me, does it? Grin

Gruach · 01/11/2015 13:50

Ah ...Grin

The yellow place never lets me in even with a nod and wink. And I had to evict the other from my phone - was utterly ridiculous to spend so much time reading about soaps I only watch three or four times a year.

GruntledOne · 10/11/2015 18:24

More lifted from Mustardland:

It seems Adam could have met his new business partner. There's good news on the domestic front too, as he and Ian fix their wedding date.

Dan's also celebrating, as his 21st birthday party offers up a romantic encounter.

Kenton's feeling positive about the Bull's reopening in time for Christmas.

The Fairbrothers find an unlikely source of comfort.

Pip tells Ruth about a foreign farming scheme.

The Grundys are forced to consider their future at Grey Gables.

The festive period can't come soon enough for Brian, who researches which Ambridge women will be 'taking their kit off' in Calendar Girls!

Gruach · 11/11/2015 21:21

Is Dan's moment of clarity going to be about his rightful destiny as a lord of Ambridge. Or about the state of his parents' marriage?

Or no! I bet you anything Rosa will be waitressing at his jazz bash. Wine > Brew > wedding Flowers

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 18/11/2015 14:21

More.

Sunday 22nd November Jill feels philosophical, and Helen gets out of the house.
Monday 23rd November Kathy has to put business first, while Rob has a lovely surprise.
Tuesday 24th November Roy makes an offer, while David and Pip yield to a little problem.
Wednesday 25th November As shoot day dawns, Will has had a sleepless night, while Justin Elliot wants the truth.
Thursday 26th November Here's to Helen Titchener, though Joe doesn't feel like celebrating.
Friday 27th November More than a canape is shared at the ball - and speaking of startling revelations.

BTW, I have news of an interesting possible casting decision too. I'm not sure if people would want me to post it here, especially as I can't be confident that it's true, but if anybody wants to PM me....

Gruach · 18/11/2015 14:24

Ah go on ...

Surely rumour is entirely allowable here?

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 18/11/2015 14:25

Oh, and here's Friday 20th Nov at last:

Ruth has something to say, and Charlie is under pressure.

Plus, the Radio Times has Sunday 29th Nov:

Helen cannot believe her ears, and David has a painful experience.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 18/11/2015 14:27

Oh well, since you press me! An old hand on the Mustardland site claims to know a postman who delivers to Sian Phillips and who says she has been receving Archers scripts. Surely this must mean she is going to be Ursula Tichener?

Gruach · 18/11/2015 14:29

Forgot to say thank you!

What will Ruth be saying?

"I want half the farm."Angry

Gruach · 18/11/2015 14:32

Ooooooh!

Interesting. But not beyond the bounds of possibility. (I can't recall Ursula's telephone voice. Was that someone else?)

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 18/11/2015 15:02

I can't remember it either, but I would most definitely not have forgotten Sian Phillips! As somebody over on Mustardland said, let's hope she plays Ursula channelling Livia from I, Claudius!

GruntledOne · 18/11/2015 21:19

I don't think I can take much more of Ruth having "something to say" unless it's her apologising to David for being such a passive-aggressive bitch and resolving to take a vow of silence for the next year. Nor do I want Rob to have a lovely surprise, I need him to be miserable. Or could it be ironic, i.e. the lovely surprise is his mother turning up?

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 20/11/2015 10:11

More spoilers!

29th Nov: What a pain for David. Helen cannot believe her ears.
30th Nov: Joe is hunting for his lost youth, and Eddie feels pessimistic.
1st Dec: Who is that at the Brookfield door? The Calendar Girls are getting nervous.
2nd Dec: Bert gets his hands dirty for Freda, and Lynda is careful with her composition.
3rd Dec: Too much information for Helen? Kate gets a boost.
4th Dec: Let there be Christmas light! Charlie could use some advice.

6th Dec: Debating David is down in the dumps. And no touching, please, we're British.
7th Dec: Helen is paid a special visit, and Emma dances away the heartache.
8th Dec: Phoebe is under the spotlight, and Adam is concerned about Charlie.
9th Dec Old news is big news for Kirsty, and Clarrie rues her fate.
10th Dec: Will someone help restore some Grundy 'pluck'? David has a gift for Ruth.
11th Dec: Ian and Adam have a wedding to plan.

Looks like Phoebe is going to get an interview at Oxford. What a surprise! As for the old news is big news for Kirsty, I wonder if that's the Ethan storyline?

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 20/11/2015 10:12

A saddo writes: they've got the dates right for PPE interviews...

FinestGrundyTurkey · 20/11/2015 14:52

I wonder if they'll specify which college...? They should do, as that's how it's done. (But when thingy in An Education got her Oxford offer letter it was from the university, not a college. I bet TA will go that route too, esp if they decide she will go - as the numbers are so small, an individual is pretty identifiable Grin )
