OK, this was posted on another site on January 1st 2014

'Based upon a letter in the DM from a reader who alleged they had overheard "an obnoxiously loud member of TA production team" in a Birmingham restaurant. Believe it at your peril.

Rob is revealed to be homophobic.
Jill will move into Brookfield.
The Grundy's to move back to Grange Farm.
Tom will take over the running of Bridge Farm after Tony has an accident.
Lower Loxley may burn down, but that has yet to be decided upon.
Lynda is to stage Blithe Spirit next Christmas.

Or not, as the case may be...'

How much more will come to pass, I wonder?

Carol's "blooming good idea" is going to be something like a flower show, isn't it? Presumably tied in with the WI. I can hardly contain my excitement.

So grace died 22 September. Are we going to end up with some bullshit revelations that everyone else has conveniently forgotten in the last however many years but soc has conveniently thought up?

I'm getting a bit sick of the sl's tbh and only listen occasionally and catch up on low field and the other thread. In fact it's the other thread that keeps me listening!!

InimitableJeeves · 24/09/2015 22:24

27 September It is a crucial match for the Ambridge cricket team, and Henry is cheering his Daddy.
28 September Ruth is making an important journey, and Will is worried.
29 September Pat has some advice for Helen, and Ruth is exhausted.
30 September Kate is raring to go, and Lynda makes a discovery.
1 October Lynda looks forward to Christmas, and are Grey Gables hiring?
2 October There's news for Rob, and opportunity for Fallon

Plus apparently Kirsty is on the cast list for next week. Let's hope Helen manages to discuss the Rob situation with someone sensible at last.

InimitableJeeves · 26/09/2015 14:43

Mini spoilers from SOC at the Radio Times festival:

He was talking about the Helrob storyline and how they are taking careful advice on how domestic abuse plays out, and said Helen is now at the stage where she is realising what is going on and will then need to articulate it. Cue Kirsty?

In answer to a question about whether Bethany might reappear, he said Moike and Vicky are in Birmingham "for the moment."

BoreOfWhabylon · 27/09/2015 08:44

Oooh, thanks Jeeves!

I'd forgotten I'd started this thread but, now that I've remembered it

Lynda makes a discovery

Scruff?

OP posts:
InimitableJeeves · 27/09/2015 09:20

I doubt it. The actor was at the Radio Times thing and was asked a question about it - she talked in terms of Lynda being a bit of a relentless optimist and carrying on hoping unless and until she is presented with irrefutable proof. Unless she's a supremely good liar I'd have thought that if he were about to reappear she'd have been a bit more coy.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 28/09/2015 13:23

A few more!
4 October Rob gets into character, and Jill just cannot settle.
5 October Lynda looks for inspiration, and Neil is Mr Diplomacy.
6 October. Eddie feels threatened, and Adam needs to hold his nerve.
7 October Home sweet home for Fallon and Harrison? Pip feels the weight of responsibility.
8 October Rob is in a sharing mood, and Jazzer misses his usual comforts.
9 October The Grundy boys are on their guard, and Ruth is keeping busy.

Could Lynda's discovery be to do with Scruff?

Gruach · 29/09/2015 11:26

Looks as if it might be: Linda finds Scruff, and starts thinking joyfully of the Christmas show, Kirsty gets the GG job, both Rob and Kirstie are given parts in the show. (Boom!)

Rob sharing might be him warning K away from Helen - saying she's in a delicate state and shouldn't be encouraged to leave the house, or have visitors, or talk to anyone she's ever known ...

Or he could be sharing reminiscences with Ian.

I do hope if the Grundys somehow find themselves at Grange Farm that they'll take Jazzer in.

BYOSnowman · 29/09/2015 11:47

Pat has some advice for Helen

Please please don't let this be 'new' pat. Old par would be cynical about most things a man suggests

Gruach · 29/09/2015 11:59

She'll be saying that actually this would be a very good time for Helen to have another child ...

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 01/10/2015 20:32

Ooh!

11 October Phoebe feels torn, and David may have been keeping something important from Ruth.
12 October Ed has reason to be gloomy, and Emma has made up her mind.
13 October Pip has a proposition, while Eddie is ready for his close up.

'Oh sorry, Ruth, I didn't want to bother you with this but Pip and I decided we would order a robotic milking parlour now we'll have Heather's house sale proceeds to pay for it with.'

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 05/10/2015 15:02

14 October. It is a poignant day for Ruth, and Phoebe is in the driving seat.
15 October Rob is right by Helen's side, and the Fairbrothers are off to Norfolk.
16 October Charlie has something to attend to, and Joe feels flush.

18 October Everybody seems to have a theory, and Susan has a taste for more than apples.
19 October Adam feels the need to help, and Toby says seize the day.
20 October Does Toby have the gift of the gab? A certain cat is out of a certain bag.
21 October Susan fears overexposure, and Henry feels happier.
22 October It is a bitter-sweet day for Pip, and Emma is ready to move on.
23 October Charlie makes a discovery, and Fallon feels the warmth at Woodbine.

Hmmmm. Oxbridge application deadline looming - they'd better not bottle out of letting Phoebe apply. Funeral on 14th? 15th - Helen and Rob at the doctor's?

BoreOfWhabylon · 05/10/2015 16:06

Charlie finally tracks down Stefan?

OP posts:
Gruach · 05/10/2015 17:44

Gosh, Charlie get two Fridays in a row. There had better be some progress in a drumming-Rob-out-of-town direction ...

BYOSnowman · 05/10/2015 17:57

Or maybe soc is planning to channel Dickens at Christmas and we will get a new improved rob for new year.

Which ghosts will visit?

BYOSnowman · 05/10/2015 17:57

Oops. That was for the other thread!

Gruach · 08/10/2015 08:05

I wasn't paying close enough attention but I had the impression yesterday that Adam and Pip were skirting around the possibility of some sort of cow partnership. He needs cows for something but doesn't want to buy in his own, she has cows and wants to broaden their erm ... skill set. So I'm guessing that might be what her proposition will be about on the 13th.

stilllearnin · 13/10/2015 01:33

Susan having a taste for more than apples and then feeling overexposed has to be another chilli night. Enjoy Neil!

A certain cat?

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 19/10/2015 19:23

Incoming! Could Fri 30 be the long overdue chat between Helen and Kirsty?

25 October It is the Harvest Festival in Ambridge, and Charlie does not feel like flavour of the month.
26 October Emma is the voice of reason, and Adam comes to the rescue.
27 October Lynda has the perfect role to offer, and Jill keeps an eye on Joe.
28 October Ed considers his future as a farmer, and Adam needs to think carefully.
29 October Will they be queuing up to audition for Lynda? Ruth faces a dilemma.
30 October Susan is in a selfless mood, and two old friends have a long overdue catch-up.

Gruach · 19/10/2015 19:26

Looks like it. But that's a long time to wait amidst all the menace and misery.

Thanks Gasp0.

Eastpoint · 22/10/2015 11:57

Do you think the chat might be Kathy & Pat?

Gruach · 22/10/2015 12:11

Could be ... That would be overdue!

Though a meeting between Helen (if she's allowed out) and Kirstie at Fallon's housewarming seems most obvious.

Eastpoint · 22/10/2015 12:50

Ian & Helen? Or is Helen unable to talk to Ian since Rob punched him & she saw Adam kiss Charlie at New Year. Helen & Kirsty might be a bit soon.

Gruach · 22/10/2015 13:04

Mmm ... Would only be a "catch up" though, not a heart to heart. And sure to be interrupted by Rob calling her away.
