Perhaps she has it at the ready to attack rob. Now that would be good. Rob running round the green being chased by an angry donkey

So the surprise visitor was Kristy not Hazel, I wonder who Peggy's unwelcome visitor will be? Rob with a cushion to put over her face?

So disappointed that Adam didn't take a step into the sinkhole.

What will Rob be confessing on Friday?

The unwelcome visitor will be Hazel since she's finally been mentioned by - was it Ed?

Is Rob's confession a red herring. I bet it's not the hunt sab or the baby.

It'll either be admitting to some incredibly minor bit of carelessness or inattention re the drainage - perhaps he delegated some task he should have undertaken himself - or he'll admit to Helen that he's phobic about some aspect of the DNA testing.

Bit of course it could actually be a confession in a police station ...

Personally I'm looking forward to the cows going out. Too much to hope that Lilian, change and Susan in the same sentence means a change-counting scene, I suppose.

David and Kenton may be at loggerheads, but their animosity definitely makes for good listening. It's rather a shame, then, that there's now a hint of David trying to heal the rift. I could do with a few more temper tantrums before the brothers make up. But then again, there's no saying Kenton will be ready for a reconciliation anytime soon.

Over at Home Farm, Adam has relented and given Kate some work. Foolish, naive man. Of course, he starts to regret his decision after he sees her approaching strawberry planting from her own rather special perspective.

Kate isn't the only one fraying nerves. Joe is managing to cause mayhem at Grey Gables. Will Roy's patience hold?

6th April sounds promising - bet it's a ghostly Freda in the audience.

Wonder what gives with Helen. Is that "in trouble" like a 19th century serving maid taken in by the feckless younger son of the house?

She cooks trout for Rob and he tells her that she's forgotten that he's unable to eat it, despite having had it every week for months on end?

My money's on some sleb like Gareth Malone turning up in the audience for The Messiah on 6th April.

Well there's no news of a sleb coming to St Stephen's - so my fingers are crossed for Kirsty.

Would they do that?

I have a feeling K mentioned it when she was last over - to Pat or Fallon. Of course, I want it to be Jess related - perhaps Ursula has a choral interest?

16th April: Tom and Helen have plans, and Rob is feeling the strain.
17th April: Pip is looking ahead, while Shula makes a call.
19th April: Rob wants a private word with Tom, and Ian confides.
20th April: Helen can't believe her ears, and the birds are in full voice.
21st April: Eddie gets it wrong, but the future is bright for Pip.

Let's hope Pip's bright future is far, far away, preferably in Canada, at least till they manage to cast someone who can act.

Gaspode I read the list with your wishes for pip's future as though it were an episode guide!!! I did a double take.

Is the R and H news too soon for the paternity test? That would probably not be billed as news for them both though.

Maybe Helen's inability to believe her ears today will be Tom congratulating her on trying for a baby? But Rob having the upper hand on the 29th sounds like very bad news.

Remind me - who owns Rob's cottage? Is it Usha or another of the Ambridge property magnates?

I'm wondering if the "news" might be about their continued rental.
