The Grundy's to move back to Grange Farm.
Tom will take over the running of Bridge Farm after Tony has an accident.
Lower Loxley may burn down, but that has yet to be decided upon.
Lynda is to stage Blithe Spirit next Christmas.

Or not, as the case may be...'

I do hope Adam being disappointed is as a result of Charlie telling him that the fact that he rescued him doesn't make this a start of a great new romance. But I fear it's more likely to be Charlie telling him that unfortunately saving his life isn't going to lead to the contract being reinstated.

Thank you Mimsy. He had a stroke last year and went non responsive on me the other night. He went to the dr and came back with antibiotics because he has a flu thing and forgot to mention the non responsive bit. but also . It is most likely I am just panicking of course - tho I did think he'd actually died! My previous panic was that I might be a bit like Kate, but all is ok on that front cos I rang my mum to check. Just realised no TA today - what am I supposed to do?!

If Adam has another affair it just gives more 'evidence' to people who think gay men can't be monogamous and that gay marriage is a joke. Would be nice to have a strong committed gay couple...

Yes he is I presume. He had his arteries stripped out last November. But he is desperate not to go back to hospital. Hoping it was this infection that made him go odd. It was like somebody had switched the lights off for about a minute. He's been ok in that sense since though. Rest will do him good.

Reading between the lines on that linked site, it looks like Hazel may be about to turn up. She owns the shop and Keepers Cottage, both of which have been flooded. What else does she own, I can't remember?

About the baby you mean Mimsy? No I think Rob will keep denying that one even after it's been proven -if it ever is. If you mean about the hunt saboteur on the other hand then yes I hope so. Something seems to be about to bite him on the bum anyway. Excellent!

And Peggy gets a mention too, so she has survived the flood. Thank heavens- now get to your solicitor asap, Pegs, not a minute to lose.

or or or...either bert or freda could be going into residential care - the effects of the flood and having to decamp would be too much for some. Could be temporary turning to permanent due institutionalisation (ever the optimist me)

I suspect Peggy's unwelcome visitor may be Hazel.

I wonder if Fallon's "thinking outside the box" involves upcycling all the flood-damaged furniture?

Aaanyway, tragic death of silent characters aside, the reason I came on here was to report that the BBC site has posted a number of pics of Archers actors wearing red noses for Comic relief and it's clearly been done when they were at the studio recording. And Jess is very prominent amongst them! So we are going to hear more from her at some point in the next 3 months or so. I'm not a fan of her delivery but I do like the storyline that involves her so hooray.

Jess is another actor without the talent for radio. I wish soc would realise that radio acting is a completely different skill to tv or stage acting.

When I hear Jess talking it makes me think that rob might have a point that she's nuts

[AllMimsy here with a Pratchett-inspired namechange] Olivia is very worried that she might have to read the contents of this thread if there's ever any bad behaviour so we must all be especially good. I can't bear to think of the volume of the AHEM we'd get if we forced her to read any Archers spoilers....
