I did sit through it looking at the web-page which says "Peggy leaves her party early" thinking when are we going to get to the party, let alone hear Peggy leave? Presumably, that was a complete red herring to avoid spoiling the plot.

Oh, and we still don't know if Peggy made it to her hair appointment...

Wow. So... all the D&R leaving Brookfield shite was probably just a massive red herring, stirring up dissent and publicity (letters in the paper and mentions in the news programs) - and Peggy's party was a smaller herring, everyone speculating what would go wrong. We really should have seen something like this happening because Tony was for once really happy. And while the main cause was really Hell and Hellchild, it may be lovely Johnnie and his pride and joy Otto who get the blame (what will happen to Otto after this?)

It's a good storyline but at the wrong time (too many other massive plot lines on the boil) an to the wrong person

Can't help thinking this would have been better happening to someone at Brookfield (David, Ruth or josh?). Would put an end to the road nonsense

Hellin will now be totally at the mercy of Knob. She won't be leaving Henry at Bridge Farm and everyone (including new Tom who is no doubt booking his flight as we speak) will be too preoccupied to take any notice of what's happening to her.

TheOne - absolutely. Although let's not forget that Adam was quite badly injured by the evil robbery types on the farm (I can't even remember what they were nicking) and seems to have suffered no ill effects. And Tony's heart attack hasn't been mentioned for months.

But I think it's about time so'c laid off Bridge Farm. Go and wreak havoc with Kathy's life instead.

And DO NOT forget about all the other storylines! I hope there's a wall covered in post-its somewhere...

It was all going a bit too well at Bridge Farm for once.
Tony was content with Johnnie's company after all those years of conflict with Tom. Pat was happy. Helen was happy in her bubble.
It couldn't last!

It's a bit too much with so many other plot balls up in the air at once and I like the idea of a wall of post-it notes in the TA office!

Re. Tetanus jab it is no longer every 10 years. It is 5 times in a lifetime. So must kids have full immunity by secondary school. Most adults my age (40s) have also had 5 jabs by now.

Was actually good to hear Peggy trying to get to speak to him but we don't know of she did?

Although it was a surprise that something happened to Tony, it was massively signposted in the way that he was shown enjoying some moments of real happiness for once.

The same way as we knew something awful was going to happen to Nigel when there loads of episodes featuring him skipping gaily about the Am Vale declaring his love for Lizard/Kenton/ David and just general good blokeishness and peace with the world.
