Roll up roll up for The Wedding special from Catheter Hall. Is the lark flying high? Will Krusty jam that ring on the porky finger?

Yes, or something to do with Kirsty's hat!

ErrolTheDragon · 30/04/2014 13:12

With Debbie, I suppose they had a brief 'report back' in that Adam had spoken to her - but they probably should do more, or maybe a one-sided phone conversation. Poor Adam - Charlie seems like a nasty bully.

AllMimsyWereTheBorogroves · 30/04/2014 13:15

All three of those are brilliant, Pseudo! I think I like Exeunt best, but could it be pursued by a pig, given Tom's business interests?

Thanks for that link to the Independent article - loved it!

Davros · 30/04/2014 13:43

I think Adam and Charlie will end up rolling in the hay!

Exuent pursued by a pig is short enough to combine with something else.

Maybe we should do an archers/shakespeare parody thread...

TheOneWithTheNicestSmile · 30/04/2014 14:49

It's very clever!

but I must take issue with the 'Massey-Ferguson'

a) it doesn't scan &
b) Ferguson didn't merge with Massey until 1953

John was squished by a Fergie Grin

HumphreyCobbler · 30/04/2014 15:03

that article is priceless

HamAndPlaques · 30/04/2014 16:42

I missed a bit of last night's ep. Was the man who blocked Pat in Charlie?

ZeroSomeGameThingy · 30/04/2014 16:54

Yes.

HamAndPlaques · 30/04/2014 16:58

Thanks!

BitOutOfPractice · 30/04/2014 17:36

Do you know, I didn't clock on that that was Charlie at all. He hasn't got a very distinctive voice has he? Then again neither has PC Burns

ZeroSomeGameThingy · 30/04/2014 17:40

True.... I sometimes have to work it out according to either context or process of elimination from the limited number of people in any one episode.

If they are listening... they really need to address the extremely narrow range of voices. Because how on earth are the American listeners expected to cope?

ErrolTheDragon · 30/04/2014 17:45

I couldn't tell if it was supposed to be charlie or PC burns at first - I thought it was the latter about to do Pat for a parking violation till the behaviour exposed charlie.

ErrolTheDragon · 30/04/2014 17:47

TBF we may get to 'know' the newcomers better in due course - Charlie sounded south-eastern, PC B a bit north-western. Many of the regulars do have distinctive voices - given how many are supposed to be borsetshire born and bred they don't do too badly.

Selks · 30/04/2014 18:38

Love the Independent article! Grin. Genius.

AllMimsyWereTheBorogroves · 30/04/2014 19:20

Vintage Jennifer:Susan exchange!

GypsyFloss · 30/04/2014 20:12

Loved that conversation, I could almost picture their faces. Jenny is such a raging snob...I really hope her intuitive pentangle turns out to be an elaborate hoax by Ambridge's finest con artist. I want her left with one sticking drawer and a camping stove for at least a year Grin

Abra1d · 30/04/2014 20:46

Brilliant, brilliant scene!

ZeroSomeGameThingy · 30/04/2014 20:56

It is beginning to sound like a con - but didn't Ian have Kingsley's name from a fellow professional chef who was already a satisfied customer?

WillieWaggledagger · 30/04/2014 21:37

The company could go bankrupt? It might be that their contractors are refusing to work for them as they are owed money

ZeroSomeGameThingy · 30/04/2014 21:53

Somebody warn Jennifer - quick!

JessieMcJessie · 01/05/2014 00:57

Clarrie into glam rock? Nonsense.

Agree about Adam and Charlie, there was something about the way Charlie said he wanted Adam to put up more of a fight that suggests the stirrings of something that is more than a commercial relationship.
