Roll up roll up for The Wedding special from Catheter Hall. Is the lark flying high? Will Krusty jam that ring on the porky finger?

I want Kirsty to be portrayed as distressed but eventually recovering. With maybe a ménage a trois with Jess and Helen (though Henry would make it quatre which could be rather exhausting). Helen as a Miss Haversham figure strikes me as more likely. She'll deffo have both eyes on both of Kirsty's dresses.

Wow, that was tense. I wish I could have a wee glass of wine - just like Joe and Eddy at Catheter Hall. But remember, JoeGrundy, what happened last time you over-imbibed at a free junket .....

No, TallGiraffe, I don't think another suicide - but I have been wrong before.

I so hope, as said above, the debt is all or largely Tom's.

BoreOfWhabylon · 24/04/2014 20:06

Thanks Kernow Smile

GypsyFloss · 24/04/2014 20:06

I'm back and have just read all 9 million pages. Am disgusted at his behaviour. I just need listen now.

BasketzatDawn · 24/04/2014 20:06

Good that they've kept us waiting for another 24 hours, but I may have to change my plans for Friday evening. Oh dear, overinfestment here too, I think.....

GypsyFloss · 24/04/2014 20:07

Love my hairdresser. We decided that I pay her an awful lot of money just to make me look more like me!

BasketzatDawn · 24/04/2014 20:07

AND do you like your hair, Gypsy? I hope it was worf it!!

Ewieindwie1 · 24/04/2014 20:10

I wonder if that sophisticate Jazzerrrr could comfort Kirsty? Or perhaps that nice young policeman could take down her particulars? Don't think Fallon deserves him anyway, she's been very dismissive of him.

I think Kirsty will bounce back but I wonder if Tom will.... Strikes me he is very sad. I bet he still has the hots for Belinda and Tom seemed stunned by his ex's new look....

BoreOfWhabylon · 24/04/2014 20:12

Tom should pack his mincing machine and sausage-cases in a bundle, hoist it over his shoulder and set off to wander the land as an itinerant pig farmer/sausage-maker.

After aeons a suitable time has passed he can set up with Hannah the Pig Girl, whom he will meet on his travels (the world of pigs being quite small)

But he should never be allowed to set foot in Ambridge again.

ZeroSomeGameThingy · 24/04/2014 20:16

If they don't get married surely there's no possibility of Kirsty staying within sight or sound of Ambridge?

She'll need new Archers-free places to live and work. Her best friend is the groom's sister....

Perhaps she'll finally fly across the world to achieve the sort of eco-career she was born for.

Or maybe she'll go and stay with clever Uncle Javier (who must be very relieved that he didn't waste his money on a plane ticket.)

Ewieindwie1 · 24/04/2014 20:18

Am already hearing Pat bemoaning her boy's distress and trying to take the blame for it. This will affect the dairy output this week. Wonder if Tony will get the carrots planted after all? And did Pat ever get that bag with straps? She'll get more use out of that than a clutch I suspect.

How did Kirsty get out of the church I wonder. I couldn't face people looking at me. All that pity....

BitOutOfPractice · 24/04/2014 20:18

I had to do a dash round the supermarket in under 7 minutes to make sure I didn't miss it

And oh my good lord above it was worth it!

I think we should have had a half hour special so we could witness some of the fall out. Bloody Front Row and their poncey middle class snobbery fascinating piece on museum awards could have waited surely

ZeroSomeGameThingy · 24/04/2014 20:21

Can anyone explain Front Row's obsession with Damon Albarn? Was like a lead weight falling on my Ambridge excitement.

MollyBdenum · 24/04/2014 20:21

Poor, poor Kirsty. I would probably run away from Ambridge to escape the hideous humiliation of it all if I were her.

It was pretty good though.

Zero he's edgy, yet middle class, therfore perfect FR fodder.

Abra1d · 24/04/2014 20:23

I felt for poor old Joe, waiting all that time with no champagne at the end of it. I hope someone bought him a drink.

I need one, too

TheOneWithTheNicestSmile · 24/04/2014 20:33

I reckon Tom will go after her in due course (someone will know where she is) sweep her off her feet & elope

I hope she's not written out anyway - I think she's great & I love her husky chuckle Smile

GypsyFloss · 24/04/2014 20:37

Basketz I do thankyou.

I just wish I could get the bloody episode on listen again. I'm not going to be able to listen tomorrow. Get a move on Beeb.

Abra1d · 24/04/2014 20:37

Poor Pat and Tony. Their only wedding hope now is Hellin.

Gawd.

Selks · 24/04/2014 20:44

Oh gawd yes Pat n' Tone. Pat will indeed be bemoaning where did she go wrong, and I suspect Tone will collar Tom and ask that since he is now not going on his honeymoon can he please help him get the carrots in and do the veg boxes.

Abra1d · 24/04/2014 20:46

Gypsy the podcast is out, get it via iTunes.

ErrolTheDragon · 24/04/2014 21:00

What should have happened next is that Patrick rushed after Kirsty, she realised she had two tickets for an eco jungle holiday, they disappear off as platonic friends and are next seen 5 years later with their cloth-nappied offspring.

Tom didn't mean to jilt her at the altar though. He would have gone through with it if it hadn't been for that bloody tractor - that was the last straw.

GypsyFloss · 24/04/2014 21:06

Panzee I can't see today on there!

WillieWaggledagger · 24/04/2014 21:09

Bloody bloody tom. I did enjoy Kirsty's righteous fury
