Also explain that you are very fussy and would never knowingly send broken toys at all. i know that!

5inthebed · 28/01/2010 19:23

Urgh Nicola how frustrating! I'd ask for them to retract it and maybe do a partial refund?

nicolamumof3 · 28/01/2010 19:54

im so tired, that was the last thing i needed. my house is like a building site upstairs still no shower fitted i have removed everything out of bathroom as im sick of cleaning all the dust. i clean it every night after landlord gone then another day of mess follows grrrr.

Shame those hoodies are 18/24 maxy would have had them off you otherwise i want to get the pale green stripey one.

FlyMeToDunoon · 28/01/2010 20:14

Maxy I meant my one has no raincover. HMG had a general one but I think she said it was torn or didn't fit well or something so I left it.
I would sell it to you for £85 plus you arrange the courier. My email is paterson222atbtinternetdotcom if you want to contact me direct.
My washing machine has got very, very noisy. I think that is the bearings isn't it? Can anyone recommend a cheap good brand? Just in case.

Oh Nicola, what a pain all of it.

I am going to have to go to docs much as I don't want to I am poorly sick. So bloody frustrating, my house is a tip can't get anything done. DH bless him is trying to do all the washing but that sends me into a fit of panic!!

Oh yes Dunoon, I knew that but that don't come with them either so would be no worse/better off iyswim?
I will email you

maxybrown · 28/01/2010 20:26

Oh and Nicola that green stripey hoody really is gorgeous, I love the colour. i am so peed off with their sizes though.

nicolamumof3 · 28/01/2010 20:26

oooh maxy poor you whats wrong? its horrible being ill with dc's as just one day in bed would sort you out but theres no rest. Bless dh for trying!

mines just text me to say i should order myself in some food. yum!

maxybrown · 28/01/2010 20:35

I know and then you feel guilty because not really doing anything with James......oh well, I have inflammatory bowel disease and have been very well for some years now, so it is a bit of a shock to the system tbh. Will have to go and get steroids. It isn't a mega bad flare up but has been coming and going for about 3 weeks or so - so guess I need to nip it in the bud. Sorry to go on. It makes you feel so bloody miserable

nicolamumof3 · 28/01/2010 20:40

oh bless you maxy yes best go get it sorted. I used to suffer IBS when i was married but my doc kept saying it was stress related. He was so right as when i split up with x-H it soon stopped weird huh?

just ordered food...yummmmmmy and my lovely dh is on his way home x

FlyMeToDunoon · 28/01/2010 20:44

Oh maxy poor you. I hope you improve soon. No need to rush about bjcc.

maxybrown · 28/01/2010 20:50

ooh yummy food - I wish!! Stress is huge factor I believe - when i first had problems was when I left ex p, I moved into a rented room and it was awful and I was just soooooooo ill and very scared, I was going to the loo about 20 - 30 times in the night, nasty, then got diagnosed which was a relief! but main thing I need is rest, so being up all night with James when already ill is not great really. I am sat on settee with Dh going through the freezer and fridge for bin day tomorrow and I feel incredibly guilty for just sitting here. What are us women like eh?!! If i went in t hep he would go mad though.

Dunoon have emailed you, i feel shitty (ha scuse the pun) but must have some pleasures eh?!!

nicolamumof3 · 28/01/2010 20:53

oh hunnie don't feel guilty let him do it and let him look after you. rest up all you can when you can can your mum have james at all for you. Wish we were closer to help x

maxybrown · 28/01/2010 20:57

If I asked her I am sure she would, we are not just round the corner that's the thing.

I feel like such a pathetic fool, it makes me really cross. Going to see if there are any appointments with my lovely doctor. Can book it on line so that's a bonus anyway.

5inthebed · 28/01/2010 22:04

Oh Maxy you poor thing. Hope it goes ll at the doctors. Didn't realise getting a new pram could be so stressful for you

Been shopping with my dad tonight, went to Morrisons, wasn't very impressed. Haven't been there for years, and it used to be good with loads of bargains.

basl · 29/01/2010 00:49

Hiya Everyone, Sorry i did not have the nerve to come back on here to thank you all for kind words but i had a little read tonight while on break at work and i just had to let maxy know about a product my husband has been using for some time that has pretty much saved hime from a life changing op.
He suffers Ulceritive Colitis and too cut a long story short after years of being very ill there was no alternative other than have his bowel removed. The were going to out a pouch inside and would involve major surgery and he was devistated. We were advised there was a great poss we would not be able to have kids after the op and if thinking of having family to get on with it hence Daniel. Out of the blue a docu was on tele about a woman who had the same illness and did not want to give in to surgery so tried alternative meds. She came across the amazing Aloe Vera. Not the Holland and Barret strenght but the Aloe gold 100% and she had a fantastic recovery.
Dh asked me to get this but i felt he was to severe to treat. He would swallow a huge cocktail of steriods etc every day and i did not think this would help, (trying to keep this shortish) His op was cancelled and he was given another date. He kept drinking the aloe and after a few months reduced the meds and well now daniel is 18month he has no sign of the colitis and op was cancelled. He recieved a lovley letter from the surgeon who could not believe such a story but i have put loads of people on to this with great success. It is amazing stuff and good for any kind of irritation. I could go on and on about it but it has changed his life. Although still coping with stress of family life. It is very much stress related but could not help but tell you about it.
Do not underplay how you must be feeling it is so draining and nobody really understands what it must feel like.
We get ours from Body kind and it is called Aloe gold by higher nature. I research it and even had lots of research done about it's amazing results. I don't know about other brands but i know some say 100% and it is not.
I will clear off now but please give it a try and let me know. xxx
