well im sat waiting in this morning for the man to come and fit my new fire (hopefully only been waiting 6months lol).
really should be cleaning my house but im far too achey and have no energy I had a fall yesterday and felt really mean as i took dd down with me and she scraped all her hand.

Carrielou am soooo excited for you. been thinking of you all night wondering if went into labour by yourself i've never been induced must be exciting to know he's def on his way!!

We are off to swimming lesson today and luka is staying an extra hour to nursery at lunch club so Tate and i can have lunch at swimming pool and don't need to rush will be nice.

Meant to tell you all about Luka esp interested with those of you boys same age and behaviour (i.e janx maxy!!) We are definitely seeing a turn in him. He seems to be talking alot more. And coincidentally tantrums are becoming less frequent. He is also becoming more compliant since last week he has been walking to nursery and holdling my hand all the way. Now this is prob no big thing for most of you. But luka NEVER holds hands he lay down in busy main road only 2 weeks ago. So i am sooo pleased s things seem to be improving!

I hope we get some constructive help today at SALT. I have to say james is an angel really........that's the bloomin issue, he doesn't even get frustrated that he can't talk - he doesn't give a damn!! It's just I will be bald by the time he ever starts. Wish me luck anyway!

My ds1 seems to like to pick ds2 up all the time, I think he sees dd doing it and tries to "help".
I really need to get into some sort of exercise routine but I just don't have the time to go to the gym or even swim, damn I wish I learnt to drive. I was thinking about getting that Davina dvd and doing it when ds2 is napping.

Nicola - thats great - my Luka doesn't do hand holding yesterday. I have started taking him to a new chatter matters group, he is very shy there - last week there were too many children and he got a bit freaked out with these other older boys who were a bit hyper....I do find them useful in terms of how the theerapists talk to the children -gave me some new ideas about encouraging him...Frida bless her has taken it upon herself to teach him how to talk - I heard the other morning say - no luka its no ah its cat c-a-t

Yeah I know what you mean - sometimes I think I am trying to hard! I have one that never - and I do mean never stops talking and one that is not interested.

janx, i have one who has loud machine inside her tummy(thats what she says) and one hardly speaks, and he is 2.6 soon

if he's not frustrated tho maxy he obviously can express his needs ok and they are being met so thats good.

I really really think nursery was the key for luka has helped him so much.

well he loved lunch club apparently, today was an angel sat down with lunchbox and ate the lot! i made cheese spread sandwiches on brown bread, cherry toms, grapes, squeezy yoghurt, organix crisps and a penguin biscuit!!

Tate and i had lovely lunch by ourselves at swimming pool i just have a migraine now which is slightly going off thank goodness. hope everyones days going good.

well im mortified just been told how much my gas and elec bills are and im glad i was sat down got to find £755 where the hell they think im going to find that i have no idea lol.

oh well never mind. bought all of my last baby bits at weekend so shouldnt need anything else now hopefully.

nicola, thats good to hear. Tom has been fine walking to the car and back. Although the real test will be when it's peeing down and windy. He may not be so keen then. P&T is just being used as a 'glorified travel system' atm.

Nursery is deffo good for them. Tom now pees in the toilet at home! Poo on the other hand he won't, and has only done it on potty twice. He usually holds out till bedtime as he still has a nappy at night.

I bought the apples quest for £70 delivered, but didn't want it so been on the phone to Boots for 3 days!! Not continually mind

and just been and returned it to Boots for £150 card card, bought pink quest sport for £112 and had £38 left on gift card so got DD some togs in the sale !

But they will resell it for £150 so they haven't lost out.

nicola, sound like luka is enjoying nursery. its sad we took ds off nursery, i do believe nursery helps speech development and potty/toilet training and many other stuff.

Well I'm back! The lady we see is so nice. janes starts in a group after half term for 5 weeks. She thinks he will just talk too. She is very impressed with him otherwise though!

Nicola, I wish james would eat like that! he wouldn't eat that much in a day, hopefully he will change with that too one day!
