grrrr just typed a big reply and it all went!

I was a loose 14 going on 12 before i had DS which I was happy with, very comfortably me that was! and helped balance me out but now am more a 16/18 and mainly an 18 prob! I need to make an effort this year and stop being lazy.

Hope she's ok Bexie, do you think maybe he just picked her up and PUT her on the floor?

maxybrown · 18/01/2010 19:13

where's kit with baby jogger?? come on!!

5inthebed · 18/01/2010 19:32

Oh dear Bexie. Doesn't sound like he done it with intention, he was probably just picking her up . DS1 and DS2 have both tried to pick up small babies, mostly DS3. Hope she is ok.

You thinking of getting/trying a BJCM Maxy?

maxybrown · 18/01/2010 19:38

My Ds is obsessed with trying to pick up the babies at toddler group

Well maybe 5in, but more prob an elite or classic - think I would prefer those!

kit84 · 18/01/2010 19:42

Maxy - just back now, will report back in about an hour

lillypie · 18/01/2010 19:44

My quest arrived today and it's gorgeous I want to keep it!I have put it in the shed but I don't know how long my will power will last.

I hope everything will go well for you tomorrow carrie,I will be thinking of you xx

nicolamumof3 · 18/01/2010 19:48

good luck for tomorrow carrielou!!

hope erin was ok bexie.

when luka was newborn he was laid on his mat at my parents house. Tate ran into the room and ran literally straight over him. he stood right on his belly was scary. But bear in mind tate was still really a baby himself i literally don't think he noticed luka for the first 6m!!!

Evening all - back form work - had my performance review and guess what in the middle of it - we all had to leave the building - suspect package in the Main Hall...was nothing after all - but by the time we got back in, we sort of run out of time. Anyway it all went fine - boss was being a bit grovelly - which was cringey
Nicola - v impressed with swimming. I am a size 12/14 with too much around the waist - need to do something, but too knackered - dp bought me a bike a while ago, but barely been on it. Do yoga once a week, but that won't shift anything.
Got the tops Nic - but no time to try them on Luka....they are sweet - hope they fit

5inthebed · 18/01/2010 20:02

DS2 stood on DS3 twice , it is very sickening when that happens.

nicolamumof3 · 18/01/2010 20:08

hope so janx! they got their quick thanks for letting me know

janx · 18/01/2010 20:12

Has anyone had their dc's immunised against swine flu?....got a letter today for Luka and just not sure about it

pebbles79 · 18/01/2010 20:14

I got the letters last week too, I'm having mine immunised as have known of someone that died and have a friend currently on a ventilator.

maxybrown · 18/01/2010 20:19

Not had a letter, but no.

nicolamumof3 · 18/01/2010 20:22

no invitation here. but v.unlikely that i'd let my children have it.

5inthebed · 18/01/2010 20:25

I've had the letter and won't be getting mine done.

BexieID · 18/01/2010 20:26

She seems ok. Changemat hadn't moved either, so maybe Tom did try to pick her up?

I didn't have swine flu jag when pregnant as felt like a guinea pig, so it would be very hypocrital of me to send Tom for one wouldn't it?

BJCM report for Maxy

Hood & covers fine, no damage, little bit grubby. Small bits of mud on the footmuff.
Covers, footmuff etc are now in the wash.

Chassis is fine, no scrapes, though the back bar where the brake is & the wheels are very muddy, not very worn though. Going to hose it down in the morning. Can't take it to my new house & lovely new carpets like that! (The removal men arrive at 11!!)

Only problem (for some) is I can't get the swivel wheel to lock, though it may just need taking off and cleaning, I don't tend to lock my wheels anyway so don't see it being too problematic. Oh, and one of the caps that covers the holes where you attach things is missing but dh thinks he has something that would cover & look the same.

All in all, I think it just needs a freshen up.

Now deciding if I should get a bumper bar or not.

oops, sorry about the double post!

janx · 18/01/2010 21:20

oh bexie - missed the bit about your dd - hope she is ok....my dd fell on Luka when he was tiny - like you had turned my back for a min and dd was playing and it happened. I felt terrible. I think it has happened to everyone...hope you are ok

5inthebed · 18/01/2010 21:55

Carrie, good luck for tomorrow!

maxybrown · 18/01/2010 22:11

OOh lovely Kit! well done.

Good luck carrie

BexieID · 18/01/2010 23:01

Good luck Carrie!

carrielou2007 · 19/01/2010 08:31

Morning all, thanks everyone!! I'm just sat cleaning again patiently waiting for the phone to ring so I can go in, dreading will have to wait until tomorrow as they are always so busy.

I haven't had swine flu jab and dd won't have it either, so hard to know if that is the right decision.

Flamin ebay - have pliko switch listed as pick up only, would rather just sit it out and have it collected and have the cash in my hand even though it means the price is lower. Been inundated with 'will you post this' requests so changed the wording on the listing. Then had someone ask if I would 'swap for a really lovely silver cross pop in jet I will even put another 20 pounds in too' switch is on for 150 [hmmn]. This morning I get 'I will collect today for 100' [hmmn] er, I don't think so!!!

Divatheshopaholic · 19/01/2010 08:38

Good luck, Carrie, will be thinking of you today
