5in, hope you will feel better and confident soon. my friend skidded on black ice witht wo dc`s in her car, and she said was scared and shaken. i will be terrified, too.
nicola, i thin you are right. people will get ready for hols in couple of months.

Maclaren · 10/01/2010 12:34

5in goodness I hope your ok Someone pulled out on me in March last year and hit me in the side It does shake you up I also got hurt (my Neck) which I am still having troube with - I did get a pay out for it though of £1500 which was nice! my car was a write off too but I bought it back from the insurance company and had it repaired it was better than me buying a new one because with the amount I bought it back for and the repair I was left with £700! its a good idea if you know someone who can repair it.

Diva I havent got mine yet i ordered it on Friday a few hours before Nicola put her's up for sale lol! I have used my mates quest over xmas to go to london and its so much easiler so I think its my best bet then the Mutsy for carbooting in the summer and hopefully I can start all again late next year Oh what age summer clothes will you be selling I need 2-3 years boys if you have any

FlyMeToDunoon · 10/01/2010 19:51

Oooh my post just got lost.
We did Pizza Express today and then made snowmen in the park.
DDs played with neighbours sledges on Thursday and had a great time too. Wish we had sledges. I resolve to get some during this year!

nicolamumof3 · 10/01/2010 20:05

FlyMeToDunoon · 10/01/2010 21:10

Larkrise to Candleford is a very annoying programme. Sooooooo slow yet soooooo obvious!

carrielou2007 · 10/01/2010 21:16

Evening all.

We made a makeshift sledge for dd of a blue plastic IKEA storage box and made some holes for a rope and added a cushion. Not enough for downhill but perfect for running along with dd being still small!! She loves it and passers by keep commenting on it.

I've been spending today, bought my bee, a new hood and have someone who wants the one with it, a cocoon/nest thing and car seat adators and have two people interested in the zapp frame and adaptors. Just the pliko to go!!

BexieID · 10/01/2010 21:50

carrie, i'm still a bit sore. With Tom had 3rd degree tear and with Erin a 2nd degree one, which in theory wasn't so bad as didn't need to be carted off to theatre for stitches. I was dosed up on painkillers with Tom and only been taken parcetemol this time. At least my cold has gone. DP goes back to work on weds so will let you know how it is with the 2 on my own, lol.

Have been feeling a bit down though. The constant snow is a real worry getting the kids to the car. It's ok with DP as Tom will walk no problem for him. Dreading doing it on my own as worried about slipping and doing myself a mischief! Hardly been out either.

maclaren, thanks. I've hardly taken any photos of Erin. By this time with Tom had taken well over 200 but lucky if i've taken more than 20. My camera is also coming up with the message it came up with last time which cost £120 to fix, so depressed about that too, which is why i'm not taking photos . Was pricing up a new DSLR, but will cost £500 to buy a new one. I still need to give DP £500 to put back into savings he took out to buy our car after the old one was written off in July.

FlyMeToDunoon · 10/01/2010 22:23

Wooohoo I have bought Horsemadgal's BJCC.
Excited! If I love it the XT should go. Otherwise Maxy has dibs

maxybrown · 10/01/2010 22:36

yay good on you Dunoon! I hope you will but thanks for dibs

nicolamumof3 · 11/01/2010 07:41

Bexie don't be too hard on yourself it is hard work and i think most ladies on pram board with newborns have been stuck in too because of weather. It will all come together soon. Sometimes its easier once DP returns to work as it forces you to get on. I used to thnk if i get one small thing done today like empty the dishwasher or put some washing away i'd acheived something!

Great news about the BJ Dunoon!

nicolamumof3 · 11/01/2010 10:08

Thanks Maxy jumper just arrived gorgeous. love the little elbow patches! he'll wear it tomorrow thanks x

maxybrown · 11/01/2010 11:12

oh good thanks Nicola. It's lovely isn't it?
Am just bracing myself for going to PO again with round 2. had to take them in bits as it is so trecherous around here atm. Fell over yesterday, owch always a shock when it comes totally unexpected

Divatheshopaholic · 11/01/2010 11:17

just doing a major sort out of toys will link to my ebay later in case anyone wants anything!!

Disenchanted3 · 11/01/2010 11:38

hi girls,

well im after a 3 wheeler, lol.

Not completly off the wagon as i genuinly only need it as we walk EVERYWHERE and can't push the XLR through the snow, I've been dragging it behind me and it takes an age to get anywhere

I put a 'best offer' in yesterday on something but the seller hasn't responded

Disenchanted3 · 11/01/2010 11:40

thislooks good if you don't mind a fixed wheel

maxybrown · 11/01/2010 11:40

Dis there is an urban detour cheap in Bolton? I haven't used my XLR at all whilst snowing! So glad I have Nipper.

Putting off going to PO but need to. It is snowing again, grrrr.

Disenchanted3 · 11/01/2010 11:44

Yes I saw that, but really want this other I've put an offer in for so witing to hear from them first, then Ill buy that if this falls through.

Trouble is I can't really get to Bolton either so unless they will drop off for a fee then I can't get it.

Disenchanted3 · 11/01/2010 11:46

Thanks BTW maxxy, if you spot any other local 3 wheelers gimme a shout

maxybrown · 11/01/2010 11:54

Train shouldn't take long to Bolton? Bit of a PITA i know but they might meet you? I will do though if I see anymore!

carrielou2007 · 11/01/2010 12:16

Aftenoon all.

Bexie your hormones are all over the place and you've prob not had a lot of sleep of course you will be feeling low . I got myself in a right tizz when dd was small and wouldn't go out in the car (didn't have a car seat and base to clip in easily, worried if I tookout car seat would not put back right). My neighbour opposite used to park right outside my house if I moved the car even for 5 mins (it's a little layby) and so I'd have to park around the back of our two houses/gardens to my garage and drive. Silly I know but that's what started me walking everywhere.

Just had lovely suprise, my water bills have been very erratic and the latest one was treble the last one. We're a new house so one adult and one child on a meter don't use much - direct debit went from 18 pr month to 47!! Cue fuming call from me, inspector come out, they have charged me wrong since moved here, credited my account by 68 pounds and sent a cheque for 347! Don't feel bad at all my bee and access purchases now!!

nicolamumof3 · 11/01/2010 12:28

wow thats great carrielou.

back from nursery with luka they are eating lunch in front of fire/telly lucky boys.

then back to drop tate in a minute. Sorted toys so to take piccies this afternoon hope luka falls asleep so i can do it in peace
