God - you are so organized with Christmas!
Real Tree - though I am sure Luka is going to spend the whole time fiddling with it. We have wooden floors so not to much of a hassle...love the smell

Maxy - have sent you measurments of jumper

Am busy parceling - sold few things on ebay

FlyMeToDunoon · 25/11/2009 21:14

This year I am definitly not getting a tree too early. we have had ours for three weeks some years and no wonder it sheds every where.

nicolamumof3 · 25/11/2009 21:21

oh god yes dunoon!! we get ours about 14-10 days before xmas it never really sheds but its more the whole faff of getting it then having it look right.

Toms given me list of stuff he wants from hawkins bazaar but im bit peeved to pay the 4.99 postage (mean mummy)

maxybrown · 25/11/2009 21:25

Ooh I LOVE going to get the tree and putting it up to Christmas music.....bliss. I LOVE Christmas getting excited

maxybrown · 25/11/2009 21:26

No email jan

nicolamumof3 · 25/11/2009 21:28

no its not quite that idyllic in our house unfortunately maxy!!

janx · 25/11/2009 21:31

Are you having problems with emails? sent it at 8.50.

I love decorating the tree - frida gets so excited with the decorations...last year she insisted on singing a song about the tree before going to bed each night.

FlyMeToDunoon · 25/11/2009 21:32

What about waterproof footmuff advice!?

janx · 25/11/2009 21:34

There's a jojo one on ebay - the same as I had - tis pale blue though...maybe others - they seem to be v cheap on ebay...more showerproof I would say

nicolamumof3 · 25/11/2009 21:36

sorry dunoon, got carried away there with xmas!!

ummmmm well tbh i have been using my normal BS in the rain its thick one so i just take it off and pop it on radiator when we get in. if its pouring down luka does now relent and actually asks for rc. i didn't like my waterproof BS im afraid. i think kaiser prob is good but too long. one of the reason i sold my xt for xlr was because footmuff was dragging. the xlr is such a bigger frame that doesn't happen (well so far only used with the footboot today but all's good!)

janx · 25/11/2009 21:36

Right off for a nice bubble bath and then bed -will catch up with you tomorrow maxy

nicolamumof3 · 25/11/2009 21:36

the jojo one won't be long enough tho for dunoons dd3.

FlyMeToDunoon · 25/11/2009 21:37

Am deciding between the Kaiser I have which is a bit too long, Naccety's buggysnuggle or a stayput waterproof one.
Or something completely different.

FlyMeToDunoon · 25/11/2009 21:38

x post
No decision then Gah!

janx · 25/11/2009 21:39

I've not long had a bath with Tom. Despite being crapola weather, I made Braised Steak au Poivre for dinner. And we ate it all, lol. Miracle for me though as i've not really been eating all my dinners this pregnancy!

We have an artificial tree. Great big 6ft thing with a wide bottom! Kinda wish we'd not got one so big 3 years ago. I hate glass/shatterproof baubles as they always break. Does my head in! Since I left home, my parents don't even bother putting their tree up. They had a real one once, but my dad was ill that xmas, so mum has vowed never to have one again. I have got one of those mini ones with the fake snow on. Made DP get me it on sunday, lol.

nappyaddict · 26/11/2009 03:37

Hi everyone long time no speak. Managed to restrain myself from coming on here for soooooo long but saw this today and had to ask what you all think of it

Has anyone had a M&P Nipi or Britax Nexus? Saw a bargain one on ebay but not sure what they are like.

maxybrown · 26/11/2009 08:17

Morning all! I'm off for a half hour walk up to our delivery office to see if my 2 missing parcels are there both recorded too and AWOL. My usual postie is off (how dare he) and they were both sent a week ago. Let's hope they are there

nicolamumof3 · 26/11/2009 08:19

good luck maxy.

i have toddler group this morning, and hopefully washing machine engineer is coming out, and will get fixed this time.

maxybrown · 26/11/2009 08:24

Ooh good luck with your washing machine too!

We had toddler group yesterday, it is very nice but always spoilt at then end by a "snatchy" child who just runs round and round the room screaming when everyone is singing and his mother just sits there smiling, oblivious, and all the women who run it sort him out. Grrr.
