Glad you like the XT.

Hi everyone,

Gosh I'm new and rubbish at integrating on this thread I suppose my mind is not on pushchairs as much as usual (sorting childcare and balancing budget when i return to work is taking over!)

Well I have bought Misdee's mountain buggy so excited!
I need a footmuff at some point, ideally unisex as although will use it everyday for DD I may stick DS in there too on long shopping days. He is nearly 3 and tall so will need a long one!

Nicolamumof3 I saw you were after a mink pupabag - was looking at them on ebay yesterday. I really like the mink and panther.... but ££££££
Like the look of those 7 layer winter pupabags too, but none of the colours are suitable.

nicolamumof3 · 25/11/2009 07:17

CB they are expensive so im hoping for s/hand one!!

Morning everyone x

horsemadgal · 25/11/2009 09:55

Morning. It's so wet and windy here today, ggrrr.

FlyMeToDunoon · 25/11/2009 10:10

Morning all.
Knickers I can post today [DP has given me funds] Is your address changed? Actually probably best to let me know it again since even though I posted to you before, finding where I wrote the address could take some time.
My email is [email protected]

Nicola glad your loving the XLR. Isn't the sunshine here nice!

Off to sainsbury's in a mo.

StrictlyKatty · 25/11/2009 12:10

DS's massive M&P Christmas sack just came, has his name embriodered on, lovely! Going to put his presents in now

Divatheshopaholic · 25/11/2009 12:33

SK, where did you get sack from? I need new ones for both DC. btw, ds is 2.3m old

StrictlyKatty · 25/11/2009 13:40

Well I'll tell you if you feed your son muscle powder so DS can have the fleece soon

and we had his name put on with looks amazing

Enjoy

StrictlyKatty · 25/11/2009 13:41

Oh and Diva the sack is actually bigger than it looks which never happens! So I'm extra pleased with it

nicolamumof3 · 25/11/2009 15:16

we got such gorgeous sacks this year from Peacocks only £3 they are felt and all appliqued real bargain!!

maxybrown · 25/11/2009 15:41

Ooh did you Nic? Might have a look, although was thinking might make him one

5inthebed · 25/11/2009 18:39

CB, I've got a lovely aran footmuff, cream colour. Only want £18 posted for it

Sorry Nicola, I did mean XLR ;)

FlyMeToDunoon · 25/11/2009 19:25

Hellooooo all.
Well my life may be changing a fair bit soon. DP has accepted voluntary redundancy and we both want to use the oportunity to change direction. It's scary but exciting too. He may be leaving his current job as soon as 11th December!
Eeeeek

5inthebed · 25/11/2009 19:46

Oooo scary Dunoon! Are you planning on moving or just a change in the carrers department?

I got mae redundant last year, and haven't bothered going back since, lazy slattern that I am

janx · 25/11/2009 19:46

Evening
Dunoon - what are you both thinking of doing?...sounds like you are ready for a change?

FlyMeToDunoon · 25/11/2009 19:53

We will need to move to somewhere cheaper and depending on where DP can get work. He wants to get out of an office and be more physical. Is thinking forestry [really badly paid], something called land management [needs training] or in an impasse being a postman. He will look for freelance in the short term.

citybranch · 25/11/2009 19:57

5in could i have pics of the footmuff to [email protected]
it sounds nice

nicolamumof3 · 25/11/2009 20:16

oooh dunoon how exciting, i suppose you are fortunate in that we live in an expensive area so you could downsize somewhere else i guess? really exciting tho...

im in xmas mode, where have you been buying cards this year im really struggling.

and do you have real or fake trees? am considering 'artificial' for the first time ever as im sick of the hunt for a tree then getting it up straight then having downstairs cool enough so it doesn't drop needles!!

maxybrown · 25/11/2009 20:52

How exciting Dunoon, lovely!!

real tree or don't bother last 2 years we got ours from B&Q and has been fab I have to say, hardly dropped at all and our house isn't THAT cold lol

I am getting excited about Christmas and am thinking will have a bash at making a sack .........maybe

FlyMeToDunoon · 25/11/2009 20:56

I prefer a real tree but get tempted by fake every year when I have thousands of needles in my vacuum cleaner. Love the smell of a real tree.

nicolamumof3 · 25/11/2009 21:07

I really do think we might get fake this year. my mum is in shock about it i think!! but terry hates getting it then i moan its not straight etc. as im a fussy cow it has to be perfect you see, all symmetrical (sp)

FlyMeToDunoon · 25/11/2009 21:09

Advice please! After today I have realised that I would like a waterproof footmuff so I could
keep the pink kaiser which isn't selling anyway but it is a bit too long for the XT.
Or
What about a buggysnuggle one? Would it be long enough/too long? Naccety is selling one.
Or
Eh something else.....

FlyMeToDunoon · 25/11/2009 21:10

Or get a waterproof stayput blanket... I have an ordinary stayput and it is a good fit.
