nappyaddict, you can get DLA from 3 months old so you should get it. Give me a shout if you need help

SparklyGothKat · 01/12/2009 00:28

oh sorry misread it, you can get motability part from aged 3.

nappyaddict · 01/12/2009 01:03

I was told it was 5 but then someone said some conditions such as severe ASD and severe asthma mean they can get it from 3, however I think if DS has ASD it is on the low end of the spectrum and his asthma is only mild and hasn't been diagnosed as such yet (our GP won't diagnose asthma until 5). But I have just looked on the Benefits Now website and Encephalitis (which is what DS had) is also included in the list of severe disabilities which entitle 3 and 4 year olds to the mobility component as well.

morning, HMG it is the one in Dunfermline and well i am not a big fan either but so glad to have a job just now and it does pay well considering all the stess you get. Fancy that you worked for them. It just shows what a small world. You could have been sat beside me for all we know at one point. I am sure we would have both known with all the chat about pushchairs. Nappyaddict i had the luna mix. It was only in the house for a day. I bought a recon one and it was faulty. Never gave that much of a chance but it bashed into my door way everytime as there is little nobbly bits on the end of the wheel. Not for me but loads love it. I had a lengthy chat about the luna you may still find it if you search. Normasknockers loves the luna mix and so did nic i believe. I am really starting to think we should not pay too much attention to other peoples taste it is so hard and (expensive, stressfull and a little fun)

i loved my luna mix, apart from floating harness, but i still think they are better for younger babies. i prefer either stroller or three wheeler for older toddlers.

i got xlr on ebay but im undecided atm, I feel guilty now having bought it right on top of xmas as well. could have got a lot of stuff with that money

off to swimming lesson now with Tate whilst luka at nursery, not looking forward to getting in pool as its a bit brrrrrr here this morning!!
