I've been trying to get hold of Thorntons advent calendars all weekend, but they are sold out everywhere. Not amused, so emailed them, and got such an arsey responce.

I was also on the phone arguing with Argos about my "£10 voucher". Because I bought online and not instore or over the phone I can't get it on a gift card. Told them I'm not going to buy anything else online, but they still wouldn't budge. Another arsey responce.

Then I've spent half the day on the settee with my eyes closed with a migraine while ds3 climbed all over me and balanced various things on my legs.

Such a crap day!

oh 5in, im sorry hunnie, i suffer with migraines myself and its awful. i have to take beta blockers every day but still can get them. horrible.

Dunoon, pain killers don't really work, have to take migralieve usually, but they knock me out, and didn't have anyone to watch ds3. So just took some strong painkillers and hoped for the best. Lucily he had a 2 1/2 hour sleep so I managed to lie in my bedroom.

Painkillers work for me if I catch the migraine early. Otherwise nothing but sleep helps. Hellish aren't they.

5inthebed - how old is your DS2 and where is he on the spectrum? We are just waiting to see if DS is going to get a DX and then will be applying for DLA as well. He has mobility problems as well but I don't know if we'll get DLA for that because he's too young I think (despite the fact he's virtually outgrown all his buggies and so we are getting a SN buggy in a fortnight)

Nicola i am so glad someone else changes their mind like the weather. I think i kind of predicted that would happen. I really pay attention to your threads as i have asked alot of advice and it just did not add up according to your own advice. It sound to me that you get swept away with everthing and deep down you do know what is best. I say try the bjcm and if you don't like it i will buy it off you. I did not give the one i ordered a chance. I was swept away with the luna talk and i hated that. I always laugh when my sister tells me off about my addiction to pushchairs. She feels it is all about me and not the kids. She is a child minder and pushes anything but none of the kids complain and she thinks it is awfull what i put everyone through with my constant buying and selling.
