StrictlyKatty · 30/11/2009 16:36

DS just said 'babies go whah whah whah all day long' as perfectly as if I said it!

I'm so proud He's really coming on so fast now, he can stack all 10 of his stacking cups inside each other in perfect order and can do any of those life the pieces type puzzles.

nappyaddict · 30/11/2009 16:44

awww how old is he?

carrielou2007 · 30/11/2009 16:48

Afternoon all.

HMG he looks so cute, I love kilts

I came home early from work today, was quite sick and felt really yuk. MW told me to come in and my BP is still really high but I only have this week and next to go at work things just get a bithard going near the end. Just got home and slept like an old lady then got dd early. Just back from park and it is so cold!!!

Have just made lovely saugage caserole to warm us up for later.

Waiting for buyer of pliko to get back to me when they want to collect. I don't understand why people click buy it now then nothing!! Just have to wait...

StrictlyKatty · 30/11/2009 17:01

He's 22 months Nappyaddict.

He's just started talking so much which is really lovely.

HMG I agree the cute factor is HUGE!!!!

nicolamumof3 · 30/11/2009 17:01

Thats good SK you must be v.proud.

noticed that luka is talking alot more since he started at nursery.

so december tomorrow, all got your advent calenders ready??

nicolamumof3 · 30/11/2009 17:17

janx have emailed pics of the tops x

StrictlyKatty · 30/11/2009 17:18

I don't have one sob sob sob

I wanted this for DS and I to share but it's all sold out

DS has never had chocolate so he won't be having a choc one but I might get a sneeky one for me tomorrow

Divatheshopaholic · 30/11/2009 17:20

maxy, email sent
aww, all these boys mine only says choochoo im not owrried, but im worried, too

StrictlyKatty · 30/11/2009 17:22

DS says about 100 words I'd say, how old is yourd Diva?

My MIL constantly tells me how many more DH could do and how you could have a full conversation at 18 months so I've always felt v. insecure about it TBH

maxybrown · 30/11/2009 17:25

Don't worry Diva, mine doesn't speak either but he knows lots of things Will check email now

Never had chocolate???!!!!!!!!!! Wow.......Ds has anything he will eat.....but then he's still not bothered about chocolate lol.

We have a very nice traditional just open the doors advent that I got today from the little shop near us

Talking of peg jigsaws......anyone want any? have quite a few to sell.

StrictlyKatty · 30/11/2009 17:29

What sort of jigs maxy?

He's never had a chocolate, a sweet nor a crisp. It's hard enough getting him to eat properly whithout him knowing there is anything better out there

nicolamumof3 · 30/11/2009 17:29

oh SK i had a giggle about that!! never had chocolate! My DS' have it just about EVERY day! bad mummy aren't i!! But then i eat it every day too whether in cake, puddings, biscuits or just a yummy bar of choc. They also eat a mountain of fruit and veg tho and have perfect teeth (according to dentist) so im not worried.

They are all so totally different re. speech Tate was v.v.forward luka is prob just plain lazy.

we have wooden advent must get it down tonight and fill with treats!

nicolamumof3 · 30/11/2009 17:31

what about the organix goodies SK?

StrictlyKatty · 30/11/2009 17:33

oooohhhhhhhhh we have no advent calendar I'm a terrible Mummy.

DS has had a rich tea biscuit actually. MIL sneaked it to him!

StrictlyKatty · 30/11/2009 17:35

I let him have raisins and those fruit mush bars but not the organix crisps/cheese puffs or anything like that.

He has yoghurts which he thinks are treats anyway Ahhhh how you can trick them when they are young.

maxybrown · 30/11/2009 17:36

wow sk! DS LOVES crisps, tbh, I don't have hang ups about any food at all, everything in moderation...........he hardly eats anything though but he LOVES fish!!! I am hoping DS has teeth like DH, they are like iron, never ever needs anything doing to them.

A few of my friends LO didn't speak until at least 2 and a half but then spoke perfectly.
Even my speech therapist wasn't concerned about DS because he excels in other areas, it'll come. He knows colours and shapes and all of his body parts, just can't say the bloomin things lol.

Er.....will have to dig them out. DS loves jigsaws but I walked past the box before as he doesn't touch those now. Shame as some lovely ones.

maxybrown · 30/11/2009 17:38

Ds won't touch biscuits either I'd let him eat as many as he wanted if he ate them He will eat buttons sometimes, he loves sweets really, just like his daddy. But generally he comes to me with a tin of mackerel or something asking for that ha ha ha ha.
