good morning all

hope your all ok. I am enjoying being at my mums having my brews made and my lie ins. Its a great novelty lol

maxybrown · 30/11/2009 10:14

Ooh yes bet it is Sal!

Nicola, jumper has just arrived thanks! Not tried it on him yet but put it against his back and look perfect, so thank you for that! really need some more to layer, so bloomin cold today brrrr.

nicolamumof3 · 30/11/2009 11:22

glad jumper came thanks for letting me know. Doing a pic trail later of luka's outgrown or things he refuses to wear!!

My friend just been round for cuppa and taking some washing so that was good. off for nursery run in rain, again in a mo.

i agree with pj's i don't mind spending money on them if they're nice tbh. mine get to wear them for ages as i buy big!

basl · 30/11/2009 12:10

Maxy, the nipper has arrived and not sure if it is for me. It is in lovely condition etc but it is a lot smaller than the bjce and i can't believe i think i would really miss it. I think the nipper would be good as a second pushchair but maybe not so ideal for shopping. Maxy are you still interested and what sort of price could you stretch to. Now this comes with the footmuff, the raincover unused the basket unused and in nipper box oh and the seat liner unused. What do you think. It is the navy colour? I feel that dreadfull sinking feeling again when i know i have done something i should not have. The wheels are all flat so i think i would have to give them a good bit air.

nappyaddict · 30/11/2009 12:12

Lol why do you hate poppers Nic? I leave the poppers done up when I wash them so when I put it on again it's the same as if there aren't any poppers. They just come in handy for nappy changes and going to the toilet so you don't have to take the top bit and sleeves off as well.

Mothercare ones won't fit DS then wish they did them bigger.

Can you put a picture up of the sacks please?

The problem I had with the buggy snuggle was that the harness slots were nowhere near DS' shoulders they were halfway down his back somewhere so then the harness didn't fit when it was on the pushchair.

nicolamumof3 · 30/11/2009 12:29

M&S had mr.men skinny fit in, but they were about £14 best bet is maybe gap sale?

i hate poppers they always burst undone, and take forever to do up. we moved out of sleepsuits for that reason around 6m.

i will try and get pics of sacks but they are half full with presents now so it will be tonight!!

basl how much did you pay for nipper? it will sell v.well on ebay take lots of good piccies and you can easy send if you have orig box. so don't worry.

basl · 30/11/2009 12:34

Nic, I paid £150 and then £10.00 postage. It does look in very good cond but i kind of knew in my heart that i did not want to part with the bjce. Why do i do this to myself???

nicolamumof3 · 30/11/2009 12:35

basl don't worry, you should make your money back no worries, get photographing

nicolamumof3 · 30/11/2009 12:36

oh btw is it lighter than bjce?

nappyaddict · 30/11/2009 12:36

Did you find they still bursted undone once the boys had started walking? We used to have that problem when DS was crawling so I just started buying them with a bit of growing room in them.

basl · 30/11/2009 12:49

Yeah it is much lighter and just as you describe much more narrow for fitting out my front door but i just love the luxury of the bjce. My mum looked after daniel for a couple of hours on sat to let me and my sister search for xmas party outfit how depressing was that. Anyway she said he slept lovely in the bjce and commented on how great the pushchair was to turn. She loved the bjcm and could never understand why i sold that. I do really like the nipper but i could never keep both and i think my mind was already made up. I will start clicking away and wait to here from maxy as she was interested but don't know if she would want to stretch to paying that much. I was thinking of selling of the extras and give her a good price for the pushchair but don't know what would be best.

StrictlyKatty · 30/11/2009 12:50

Basl, at least you'll have the thomas table

I'm back in love with my Bugaboo

basl · 30/11/2009 13:02

Awww stricktly, bless do you know i meant to let you know i don't even know if it is the thomas one. She just sent me a pic and it looks like a table with the picture on top and two large storage box thingys underneath. I really don't know much more other than everyone keeps saying take it. I have pumped up the tyres and worked out how to make the seat sit up and bribed olivia to sit in it and i just whish it wasn't so long as it would be a fab second buggy but for shops

maxybrown · 30/11/2009 13:06

Basl I'm here! You can email me if you like? Could I poss have pics of it please?
[email protected] Will you let me know on here when you've sent an email Basl as I have been having trouble getting emails again, though mainly seems to be when I've exchanged a fe emails from the same one....if that makes sense?

Does the elite turn better then? take my fixed wheel shopping so prob wouldn't notice tbh

I hate poppers too, esp on dungarees!!! Why do they do that?? Grrrr. Am desperate for some dungies without them!

Next do skinny fit too. But not as nice. Boden quality is fab, better than Gap even, but VERY VERY slim fitting.

nappyaddict · 30/11/2009 13:14

I've seen the BJCE. It's nice but I bet it's heavier to push than the nipper?

maxybrown · 30/11/2009 13:17

Hmmmm......I love the lightness of the Nipper, and the Elite os prob too wide. The only neg review I found of it was from a woman who had had the double, and she was disapointed to find that the single wasn't much narrower she said! Mainly our Nipper is for taking away with us and so love the idea of the fold, BUT the Nipper is so light. I am still a little scared about having a 360 rather than a fixed wheel!

StrictlyKatty · 30/11/2009 13:18

Basl if it's white it's prob the BRIO one which is excellent. If I has bricks painted on the legs it's the Thomas one. Take it anyway!

Maxy do you have any Boden PJ's I need some for DS I want those dino ones but £28....

maxybrown · 30/11/2009 13:19

No I don't SK, they are so so skinny he went beserk!! I reckon I'd need to get him age 5 or something!! Or bigger lol The arms are really fitted. I could get him in 18/24 but they looked like they'd been sprayed on that was a while ago....

StrictlyKatty · 30/11/2009 13:21

Hhahahahahaahaha

I'm still thinking about the Radio Flyer... they look such fun. But then his birthday is 7th of Jan, so hideously expensive this time of year

maxybrown · 30/11/2009 13:22

Oh and then I had 2/3 but not much better tbh

nappyaddict · 30/11/2009 13:31

I like these

How much are the GAP ones full price?

basl · 30/11/2009 13:32

Maxy i going to take some pics shortly. My heart is thumping here as my dh just walked in unexpectedly from work to find the new pushchair. All i could here was olivia shouting mums has a new pram again daddy and i love it. I will not go into the conversation we had but it kind of when like "what are you thinking about? What one will this replace? I loved that diablo it was perfect for hols? Oh it's the big one you are replacing" and well he just walked out shacking his head and looking at me like i need sectioned. The elite is alot heavier but i tell you not much difference to be honest to push in fact i would say the elite feels a little bit more stable. The nipper moves a bit more when pushing. The wheels on the elite seem so much bigger and it does not stick out so much at the front as the wheel kind of tucks under. The hood on the elite is massive and kind of bubble so it should never touch the head but i have sat olivia in the nipper and the hood just touches her head. MMMMMM decisions decisions. So maxy you go shopping with yours do you knock into people.
Stricly it is not the thomas one so all is well. I did feel awfull about that you know. I am so chicken hearted i was talking my self into giving it to you but i know what kids are like if they want a certain thing.

maxybrown · 30/11/2009 13:33

OOh yes I like those! Trying to remember, was in there only a couple of weeks ago - £12/£14? I think from memory!!

basl · 30/11/2009 13:34

so sorry about all the spelling errors

StrictlyKatty · 30/11/2009 13:39

Oh Basl you are so sweet! DS is a nightmare with it, he's only 22 months but my God the fuss when we go to ELC or toysrus and he sees it!

He screams at other children not to touch it, holds on to it for dear life then has the mother of all tantrums when I want to leave....
