Aww Sal, thats lovely!

carrielou2007 · 29/11/2009 21:54

Congrats Sal I can't get pics on my stoopid computer apart from ebay, will borrow camera and add fake listing tomorrow (ebay name is the same)

FlyMeToDunoon · 29/11/2009 22:02

Yay Sal!
Janx there are small gaps on each side from lap to where it attaches at the top [under edge of hood.] The coverage is pretty good but the other day when I had DD out in light rain with just the stayput her jacket was damp at the sides.

FlyMeToDunoon · 29/11/2009 22:03

Oh and I got mine off ebay. Not new.

nicolamumof3 · 29/11/2009 22:05

janx wouldn't you use stayput inside of apron? did you get apron with your xlr?

sal1309 · 29/11/2009 22:05

cheers guys

carrie dont worry about pic how much including postage? (they are only for xmas partys lol)

BexieID · 29/11/2009 22:23

Who wanted something in Hamleys? SIL said one has opened in Glasgow, so could nip in if I go.

carrielou2007 · 29/11/2009 22:28

Sal I could just post them to you then would know postage (I can't work it out??) so a fiver plus that, pay when you get them??

sal1309 · 29/11/2009 22:32

that would be great hun, you sure you dont want paying first? Saves me having to take dd shopping for a pair as i really cant be bothered but her boots just dont look right with dresses lol

carrielou2007 · 29/11/2009 22:37

No probs, I just love a bargain so would rather someone else gets it rather than just take them back!! I can't post until weds though as just don't get back from work in time usually on a mon and tue, that ok?? Just send me your address [email protected]

sal1309 · 29/11/2009 22:45

yep thats fine no rush have emailed you my addy. I must admit thats a bargain and a half for clarks shoes lol my dd has quite narrow feet between e/f so always struggle with shoes lol

nappyaddict · 30/11/2009 02:50

Were the peacocks stockings, stocking shaped or sack shaped IYSWIM?

I really like this but a) it's a lot of money to spend on PJs and b) why the hell haven't they got any poppers!!

nappyaddict · 30/11/2009 02:52

BTW are these the skinny ones in mothercare? Couldn't see any others on the website that might be.

maxybrown · 30/11/2009 07:54

Nappy - these are one of the sets of skinny fit in Mothercare. They do tend to have more choice in our store I have found. They have more on website, I just linked to one pair!!

I love the one on M&S have seen that already. I had the next ones and the summer set didn't have poppers but winter set does. TBh i find them a pain and they have only proved useful once, when I had to change DS when he was still asleep - then it is a NIGHTMARE having them in an all in one and no poppers!!
An yes, I'd like to know more about peacocks stockings - has anyone got a pic oof one please?

Morning by the way!

nicolamumof3 · 30/11/2009 07:59

mothercare skinny

and here

www.mothercare.com/Mothercare-Busy-digger-pyjamas-2pk/dp/B001NIB52U /sr=1-54/qid=1259567725/ref=sr154/280-3208937-6140506?_encoding=UTF8&m=A2LBKNDJ2KZUGQ&n=44525031&m cb=core these are what im selling in 18-24]]

They are all in baby section so only go up to 2-3yr tho.

i love those autograph ones, i hate poppers so they'd be great for us!

They had sacks and stockings in peacocks nappy, we got the sacks they are lovely. two different designs.

I don't mind spending on pj's if they are good quality and will last i was waiting to see if autograph ones go in sale tho as my boys have loads of pj's atm. They had white company ones last year my mum bought and they were about £24 a pair!!!

maxybrown · 30/11/2009 08:05

I think all pjs are expensive really. I did get a 3 pack from Next this winter but they were RUBBISH! Really thin. Remember those postman pat ones I had from you Nicola? They were lovely, but the ones in there atm aren't a patch on those.

janx · 30/11/2009 08:48

Morning all
Missed that footmuff on ebay - thanks for looking at for me nic.. but I think I am going to try a stay put, although I don't have the apron ...dp hates footmuffs and I think ds will soon be too big for anything like that - would measure him, but he won't stay still long enough. He too hates anything tight on his wrists...
Really don't want to go to work today - have opted for the school run and dp has taken ds to nursery - means I had a wee lie in - 7.30 woohoo.

maxybrown · 30/11/2009 09:19

Oh Jan, didn't realise you didn't have the boot with it?? there is one on ebay here but getting up to a good amount already. Wonder if it's worth contacting maclaren and seeing how much they are?

You are more than welcome to borrow mine as I don't use it - it is black though
