I love Glasgow too, not been since last xmas, lol. Always go into Reading when visiting my mums, so have had 2 doses of that this year. Been to Braehead as well, which is good if you want Ikea too.

StrictlyKatty · 28/11/2009 20:39

I love Reading but it's an hour away I need a John Lewis to open up in this Hell Hole!

2 of my best friends are in Glasgee, can't go wrong shopping there IMO and all the bars, restaurants..... fabby

janx · 28/11/2009 20:43

nicolamumof3 · 28/11/2009 21:08

im watching the beigey colour stayput janx on ebay!!

right i have a brown, cream wide stripe one from next in v.large 18/24m and the jojo one that he's only worn a couple of times, um i think i'd like £11.00 posted for them both but i will do you pics if you're interested i may well have another, too not sure how many you need?

maxybrown · 28/11/2009 21:14

Evening!

Nappyaddict - I haven't got an active trail atm, I just keep putting bits up as and when!!

Nicola - he won't wear the skinny fit anymore which is a shame as I love them. He hates things he can feel round his wrists... thank you anyway though.

Oh poor you Jan, DS just started with one suddenly too.

nicolamumof3 · 28/11/2009 21:17

oh shame luka has loads of room in all others. will put a thread up for them but not just yet as i do adore him in them!! and they are the only skinnies he has atm.

maxybrown · 28/11/2009 21:21

I know he used to wear them all the time. He went BESERK in the Boden ones.....mind you, they are VERY fitted....

nicolamumof3 · 28/11/2009 21:34

just put in my xmas orders with Next and Amazon well im sure they'll be more but they're the initial two big ones.

Soooooo excited seeing my big brother next weekend, not seen him for a year, not even at my wedding (as he was too poorly to fly), he lives in Greece. Can't wait he's over for my step dads bday as he's 65.

5inthebed · 28/11/2009 22:21

Nicola, don't have anything else I need from Argos. Might actually compain about it, as would have preferred a £10 voucher I can use at the actual shop. You have to pay £5.80 delivery whatever you order, so really only gaining £4.20 iykwim.

Had my mam here tonight watching X Factor. I want Olly to win. Those tight pants

pebbles79 · 28/11/2009 22:27

Oops, haven't been on here for ages - lots to read through. I've been totally engrossed in the Twilight Saga so after now seeing both films I just had to read the books and I'm now officially obsessed, lol! At least it's cheaper than prams [grin}

carrielou2007 · 28/11/2009 22:31

5inth I bought something yesterday in Argos and was given a voucher (assistant was amazed I had not seen any adverts for it but not somewhere I ever really shop at) and so I went back again today and bought something and used it. Mine was a bit like a credit card, was it the same spend 50 get 5 or spend 100 get 10 - surely you should be able to use it in the shop too not just online??

maxybrown · 28/11/2009 22:42

OOh we watched the first twilight film last night. very good! Sis has lent me book too.

5inthebed · 28/11/2009 22:46

Carrie, was just emailed a code with my order confirmation. Spent £130ish so must be the same thing. Why couldn't they just take it off my order . Am going to call customer services Monday.

Maxy, DH wants to go see it, so might go next weekend. He has read all the books, all 4 within 2 weeks.

pebbles79 · 28/11/2009 22:49

Ha ha, I read all 4 within 2 days lol! DH complained that I didn't talk to him !

5inthebed · 28/11/2009 22:52

I'd have filed for divorce if that was my DH. I hate it when he gets into a book, he ust goes into his own little world. Wish I could do that!

basl · 29/11/2009 00:58

5in i 100% agree with what your are saying about the online code for argos . I will be interested to hear how you get on

Divatheshopaholic · 29/11/2009 12:20

nicolamumof3 · 29/11/2009 14:45

quiet on here today? everyone xmas shoping?!

praying for rain to stop so we can go to xmas festival later

FlyMeToDunoon · 29/11/2009 16:51

Hello all. I am taking my chance on the computer while everyone else is doing other things. DD1 or DP have been monopolising it recently. Can two people monopolise one thing? lol
Those of you considering StayPuts. I do find mine very handy as it can just pop on over DD if she gets cold or falls asleep. On the other hand I am a bit worried it will be draughty when it gets really cold. Also I think you need a liner or the stayput liner with it otherwise the cold will come through from the back.
Funny actually as I was going to come on and ask about Buggysnuggles. Will 95cm DD3 fit in one and do they drag on an XT wheels?

carrielou2007 · 29/11/2009 17:32

Afternoon all.

FMTD they should not drag on wheels as they are way too short dd had to bunch her legs up to fit in it. She is tall though and tall in an 'all egs' type of way.

Went to get dd some more shoes (well boots) today as we have clarks outlet. Got two lovely pairs and thought bette get some normal dark shoes for winter too and when I got to the till they came up a fiver!! I don't actually need them as she has boots, a sort of boot/shoe and two pairs of wellies. Anyone interested or I'll take them back, navy blue 8F (she's normally a G so don't want them to pinch).

Just polished off a banana and pear cake as sooooo wet this afternoon could not face going back out in it. That's out tea today (we had crisps earlier, I'm a naughty mummy on a sunday!!)

carrielou2007 · 29/11/2009 17:34

How many typo's oops

nicolamumof3 · 29/11/2009 17:51

I measured tate yesterday and he just fits in a buggysnugle (measurements somewhere above dunoon)

BUT they def do drag on wheels of xt i didn't like it. but then the maclaren footmuff dragged too. Was major reason why i sold XT.

I was looking at stayput to use inside of apron on XLr. Buggysnuggle just about right lenght on XLR. But i've sold my last remaining buggysnuggle now. Can't believe it, first winter without one best get looking for another lol!!

StrictlyKatty · 29/11/2009 18:44

Feeling very smug having made my Christmas chutney and ham in cherry coke today... might end up tasting rubbish but so far so good

I wanted the John Lewis advent house but they are all sold out Gutted.

DS is back in the Bugaboo and loving it, he gets in by himself unlike the XLR where I have to force him in

FlyMeToDunoon · 29/11/2009 19:11

No buggy snuggle for me then. StayPut does not drag on the wheels.
