Basl, could you put pics on a trail please? How much would you be wanting?

OP posts:

Playgroups/preschool/nursery attached to school about £6 per session here.

Two nurseries attached to schools do wrap around care so you can choose to use your 5 sessions over 2.5 days if you wish and pay for lunch inbetween.

One private nursery charges hourly - that's £3.60 per hour and the others charge per day and vary from £25-£30.

Childminders are £2.50-£3 per hour.

You should move here

janx · 26/11/2009 19:09

Where do you live nappyaddict? We pay £50 a day for ds's nursery.

Maxy - that was the sleeve length..had a feeling they would be too small for you - shame as they have a nice weight to them

nicolamumof3 · 26/11/2009 19:26

im so depressed and run down, i still feel ill, this can't be right?? i think i've got another throat ulcer. Just battled DS2 and 3 into bed and could cry my eyes out

FlyMeToDunoon · 26/11/2009 19:42

Aw Nicola hun. You haven't been fully well for ages. It seems to have been one thing after another. Maybe you need to get to the doctor, on your own if you can and get him to check you out fully.

janx · 26/11/2009 19:51

Poor you - there are a lot of things going round and people seem to be ill all the time where I work. Can you get a lie in over the weekend or even better an afternoon to yourself? I have had a bad day today - ds really stroppy and uncoperative

nicolamumof3 · 26/11/2009 20:01

I hate w/ends janx dh invariably works and i find it particularly hard work entertaining/refereeing all three boys by myself.

i will try and get to docs tomorrow or next week tho x

janx · 26/11/2009 20:19

oh that is hard work Nicola - dp and I often work one day each over weekends and those days seem really long

maxybrown · 26/11/2009 20:24

Oh Nicola. Can't your Mum help out?

jan did you finally get my address?

janx · 26/11/2009 20:43

Yes got your address
Am looking forward to new series of gavin and stacey tonight - love that

Had a bit of a wierd time at the speech group - luka bit under the weather and not really joining in. The woman running it said to me at the end that Luka always looks drawn and tired -like he wasn't getting enough sleep. she has only met him 3 times - found myself getting defensive - don't know why but it really pissed me off....

StrictlyKatty · 26/11/2009 20:48

Janx I would get upset with a comment like that too!

Does anyone have any Bugaboo snow wheels I think they are a stupid idea yet crave some double are they are crap as I imagine?

Since I got a new chassis and new front and back wheels I've not used the Cam, I just love it being perfect. I'm tempted just to use the old chassis and wheels again so I at least use part of it... I have issues.

nicolamumof3 · 26/11/2009 20:52

oh SK you have cheered me up!! lol

Jan that is a strange thing to say, take no notice xxx

maxybrown · 26/11/2009 20:54

Oh Jan, don't tell me THAT'LL be why he's not talking then!! Sheesh. That's quite a bold statement to make to a Mum you don't know!! Cheeky thing. She should come to my house then, DS not in bed til 9.30 ish, mind you, he hardly ever looks tired like his Mum (as a toddler) apparently!!

maxybrown · 26/11/2009 20:55

Sk - you know they will be crap, I seem to remember you making some statement about them ages ago......

sweetkitty · 26/11/2009 20:55

hi ladies haven't been in here in ages as I have been very good and haven't been thinking about prams

How is everyone and more importantly what has everyone got these days?

Is Dis still about and on her 18th Bug?

And Nicola has an XLR?

Bexie - only 4 weeks to go that is scary

Well am 17 weeks here, pram shopping will commence next February I think, is it worth the money to splash out on a Vibe or a Dash or stick with a good old Sport? Will also need a Maxi Cosi as I want to be able to fit a car seat on it for quick nursery/school runs.

nicolamumof3 · 26/11/2009 21:07

hiya Sweetkitty!! hows you?

yes got xlr, i think sport is the best tbh. Vibe is all about looks imo. Tho Dash looks nice, i still like sport best so there you go!!

StrictlyKatty · 26/11/2009 21:16

I think I need help. Truly. I've just swapped them.

The old chasis and old wheels back on the frame.

I've just opened the BN new tranport bag to put in the BN chassis and BN 4 wheels and put them in the cuboard. I think DH will kill me. I just can't use them! I can't I want them to stay perfect.

Jesus, I can't believe I've done that but at least I'll use it now

And I know about the snow wheels, I KNOW they are stupid and it doesn't snow here hardly ever, but they look so nice. I won't buy them, I MUST NOT!!!!!

StrictlyKatty · 26/11/2009 21:25

Help me my Zapp is in the box too so it stays nice I think I have buggy OCD.

maxybrown · 26/11/2009 21:34

Oh dear.......

janx · 26/11/2009 21:36

Thanks everyone - glad you agree with me it was odd...dp didn't really get why I was upset!

More parceling to do - have gone a bid mad selling on ebay - every £1 counts

nappyaddict · 26/11/2009 22:14

I live in a fairly middle class large village/small town in the West Midlands.

horsemadgal · 27/11/2009 00:37

£50 a day for nursery
So glad got my mum to watch my kids.

nicolamumof3 · 27/11/2009 07:41

Morning all,

my mum used to have boys for me when i worked, but it got a bit much once luka arrived, then i got made redundant which was a relief i was struggling working three days a week along with everything else!!

SK yes you are mad, sell or use the zapp!!

janx · 27/11/2009 08:05

...yep and for 9 months both of the dcs were at nursery 3 days a week. We did get working tax credit - thankfully dd is at school now! I guess London has higher wages?...but then again houses prices are mental.

maxybrown · 27/11/2009 08:16

Morning all!

Well my packages turned up at 3pm yesterday??!!! Still, they arrived - hoorah!

Mum coming over today and we're going down the road to a couple of shops......in the rain

nicolamumof3 · 27/11/2009 09:10

i've just been sat in the bath crying my eyes out. Feel so drained so poorly i think i might actually be depressed as well.

I rang docs they offered me 11.40 apt, can't do that as have to pic up luka at 11.45 then they offer me 12.10 can't do that as need to bring boys straight home for lunch to enable me to get tate back for nursery!!

See i haven't even got time to be this ill so why am i? I think DH had enough of it too!!

Also trying to get Tom to understand i have NOT get any way to wash the mountain of clothes he keeps throwing in wash basket grrrr!
