Oh gosh yes, I'm quite frightened to meet you in case she is with you

At least YOU have the excuse of it not being your place though eh?!

OP posts:
maxybrown · 20/11/2009 20:33

And have you got the Boden Animal jumper?

OP posts:
StrictlyKatty · 20/11/2009 20:38

Hhahahaha my MIL has a nice house but I'm not sure she is aware of a thing I call a H.O.O.V.E.R

Yep I have the jumper why?

maxybrown · 20/11/2009 20:42

I thought you did, just wondered what they were like in niceness and size. They still have the hedgehog one in stock. Ds has NO jumpers at all. It is hard to get them without hoods too.

Ha ha ha about MIL. I feel better now, I hoover every day

OP posts:
StrictlyKatty · 20/11/2009 20:46

Me too I love a nice hoovered carpet but MIL doesn't see it that way, with the dog I think she's jsut given up IYKWIM.

Jumper is nice but not very thick and does come up small. What about the shaggy zip through?

maxybrown · 20/11/2009 20:49

No, too thick. I want jumpers for layers. Ds gets very hot and won't want bulk.
Darn it. I like hedgehogs though. I love the college hoody, but one it has a hood and 2, he will be drowned in it I bet.

OP posts:
StrictlyKatty · 20/11/2009 20:53

I like hedgehogs, it was out of stock for ages though and now it just wouldn't get the use. Already feels like the fox one we have is poss on the short side as I can see a bit too much tshirts poking out for my taste

maxybrown · 20/11/2009 21:41

lol. I will look at measurements again. james has NO tummy to take things up, so yes, his clothes do last for ages!!!

OP posts:
maxybrown · 20/11/2009 21:52

Well, had a look and it says it is bigger than the twin pack t shirts and they fit so should be ok. Need to check if my credit is there yet! Will ring tomorrow and see.

Janx, ds2 is 4. He has autism, so a little hard to handle at times. Apparently he hates assembly, plus is 1:1 wasn't there, and the teacher bless him is this little tiny bloke, reminds me of a CBBC presenter. He got it for giving good massages

I've still got my beige footmuff Janx, but not sure it is long enough for your pram.

Knickers0nMaHead · 20/11/2009 23:47

Just jumping on to say I have finally relented and ordered the coffee/marsh Quest

Buggynuts · 20/11/2009 23:53

Nice choice Knickers!

Knickers0nMaHead · 21/11/2009 00:00

Have been hankering for ages but have no-one to tell m off now so I thought what the hell

Buggynuts · 21/11/2009 07:30

You go for it girl, when DD2 is a bit bigger i will definately be having a Quest, they are fab!

janx · 21/11/2009 08:25

Morning all
What a night - after the fairy liquid incident - everything calmed down and after bath I decided to trim ds fringe - fine. Happened to mention to dd that her hair was getting long. Put ds to bed and then dd decided to give herself a haircut! She has cut loads of the back---I mean loads

5inthebed · 21/11/2009 08:49

Oh no Janx! Do you have to take her to the hairdressers today?

Nice choice Knicks, lovely wintery colours.

janx · 21/11/2009 09:00

I've got to go to work - really hard to get appt for children on a saturday - all the trendy wendys have their hair done! Maybe sunday
Knickers - I have a buggyboard - but think one of the connectors are broken - will ask dp later

maxybrown · 21/11/2009 09:03

oh no Jan is she upset??

OP posts:
janx · 21/11/2009 09:14

Well I was a bit cross with her. I had carefully put the sharp scissors away and she had gone and got her craft scissors and hacked it. She then she burst into tears...she thought I was saying it was too long last night....I felt guilty then. I think she is going to have a skin head - all her lovely curls are going have to go....we have had cuddles and I have reassured her that really short hair is cool

Knickers0nMaHead · 21/11/2009 09:21

Oh jeez, Id be gutted if dd cut her hair. She still only has a bit, so it seems it takes aaaaggggeeess to grow. Hoping quest comes today. Ordered thursday with next day delivered but ordered about 4pm. For some reason I am fed up with the p&t. it seems so heavy now it has two toddlers and with the weight of them both the wheels dont run smooth, if that makes sense. ordered a new basket/footwell for it yesterday. thinking of selling.

janx · 21/11/2009 09:31

Fridabefore haircut

FlyMeToDunoon · 21/11/2009 09:33

Ha I've always worried about the DDs cutting their hair as it's a classic isn't it. But touch wood noone has tried it so far.
I did mine when I was about 4 and have a photo of it
It will grow fast.

Divatheshopaholic · 21/11/2009 09:33

Oh Janx, poor dd
My dd done that last summer and cut loads of her hair half way with craft scissors. Luckily it was not too short to the scalf and now grown. I bet she is upset, hope she gets cool short hair. Dont blame yourself, kids do silly things,
Sending you loads of hugs((((((JANX))))))
Last night incident sounds like our house.

Well, this morning i decided to put cap on ball bearing and it wont go in im not technical but dh showed me before he go work yesterday. The new one seems odd, so i put the old one and left the new one. Been outside with screwdrivers and hammer, all sot of tools at 8.30

5in, your dss teacher sounds really nice bloke. maxy, i just remembered i asked you next coat, didnt i[doh]
i email you re coat.

FlyMeToDunoon · 21/11/2009 09:39

Someone will have to start a new thread soon!

basl · 21/11/2009 09:42

knickers i love the coffee marsh quest it is my fav. I have a little green and brown travel bag set that would lovely with that if you would like it. Can you believee i ordered £50.00 worth of stuff from then in order to get the bag set. I thought it would go with the nipi kiwi but i did not like the nipi buggy. I then noticed the quest did a brown and green and i tell you i have been nearly going to order it just to use this litte bag set. Anyway if you want to see the pics i don't mind letting you have it as i did try and sell it but quite a distinctive colour not for everyone but may look lovley to go with the quest. It is the christmas season after all. I do really love that colour.
