just like my DH no worries at all either way don't want to get you in trouble haha!!

SK all debenhams stuff i find is tiny. luka has already grown out of a 3-4 junior j tank top! crazy.

Janx tried luka in jojo zip up hoody and it still fits im afraid.

maxybrown · 18/11/2009 21:21

Yeah, even I find Debenhams stuff small! Think Ds had a junior J 3/4 top in the summer!! Monsoon is the same.

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 18/11/2009 21:22

yep monsoon silly too, i hate erratic sizing why do they do it? so it doesn't fit and you buy bigger size??

maxybrown · 18/11/2009 21:26

Yes exactly, and Monsoon sizes go up in price cheeky buggers. When I got Ds his special campervan shirt for his birthday, I got him 3-4, ok it will prob fit him in summer too as it's short sleeved but 2/3 wouldn't have lasted and then it went up in price at 3-4

oooh don't get me started on monsoon. I like their stuff - but man it drives me mad how little things you have in the boys section. In London some of the monsoons don't even stock the boys clothes - loads of girls. I have complained in about 3 branches - all the staff agree with me...off I go to write letter to head office

maxybrown · 18/11/2009 21:49

Oh yes Jan I completely agree. Mind you I find most places like that. I complained to Boden too about their boys stuff always selling out long before the girls stuff does, and how they have loads of different girls coats to choose from but bog standard boring things for the boys!! Grrr.

janx · 18/11/2009 22:01

Luckily I have a girl as well - but don't really like girls monsoon - too prissy for my action girl. I find dd much harder to buy for cos she is so slim. I have about 8 pairs of trousers waiting for her to grow into!

maxybrown · 18/11/2009 22:05

Oh I know about that!! lol. Pity we haven't got any of my nieces younger stuff for her as my niece is sooooooooooo slim it is unbelievable!! She eats like a horse though! My sister struggles even now to get her stuff and she's 14.

Anyone got one of those car seat protectors for potty training? Gonna go cold turkey with Tom but don't want him peeing in his seat!

janx · 18/11/2009 22:27

Yeah - my sisters girls are too old for clothes for dd too - hers are slim. I used to be super skinny (in the distant past)...I remember wearing two pairs of socks at school to try and make my legs look fatter ..Right better go and load up the dish washer - than off to bed...tis an exciting life.

nicolamumof3 · 19/11/2009 08:02

Morning ladies, well my w/m broke down last night but its working again now hurrah and fingers crossed!

maxybrown · 19/11/2009 08:11

Oh Nicola how frightening!! Maybe a little blip!

FlyMeToDunoon · 19/11/2009 08:22

Did you bang it Nicola?

The light up display on mine goes weird and I have to give it a thump technical assistance.

nicolamumof3 · 19/11/2009 08:28

i don't know there is something wrong with it as it often goes strange, it does get 'heavy' use about 3 loads a day!! so no surprise, its 3.5yrs old. i'd like one with a bigger drum ideally so i could wash boys duvets.

we have an extended warranty on it tho so may just call them out as have feeling it will go again before they can make it out!!

ScattyKatty · 19/11/2009 08:45

What is the name of that £8.04 courier and how many kilos is that for.... I've seen something I'd like

carrielou2007 · 19/11/2009 09:21

Morning all

Horrible wm going wrong Nicola, not something you can do without with 3 boys.

SK I've used parcel2go DHL I think is that price for insured up to 50 pounds, I put in weight of 12Kilos, I think L 120cm, W 40cm, D 30 cm or thereabouts had to fiddle around to keep it under 'overszed'.

I've turned into the elephant woman with comical slight swelling of my feet, legs and hands. I didn't have it until after I had dd so bit of a shock to suddenly have tree trunk legs and feet - such an attractive time pregnancy

nicolamumof3 · 19/11/2009 09:43

washing machine engineer cannot come til wednesday, i literally feel like crying. wasted 40mins on the phone rang 6 different people, no one can help as theres no engineers.

i will be buying new machine instead of new pushchair at this rate...should have been at toddler group 15mins ago

carrielou2007 · 19/11/2009 09:53

Oh Nicola, you pay for the warranty to minimise the hadaches when things go wrong and still the stress happens. Can you use it at all or is it leaking? Not cheap either for a new one that is half decent for the amount of washing families need

nicolamumof3 · 19/11/2009 10:18

i know i do feel like crying, have loads of washing already, imagine what it will be like by weds. and what if they come weds then need to order parts...they have up to 21days to complete repair.

i need to go out now and lug steriliser to p.o that sold on ebay for £1.70 can you believe it! Then walk up to docs where they have removed all toys due to swine flu, so the boys will run around wild as the docs always run late....ggrrrr im not having a good day am i.

FlyMeToDunoon · 19/11/2009 10:50

Oh blast. Is it not working at all?
Anyone you know who will let you use theirs? Or will it be the launderette?
I dread mine breaking down but know that I would just get a new one as this one has been repaired several times already.

basl · 19/11/2009 11:18

oh Nicola bless you. That is so annoying when this happens. Not much use now but i have the british gas cover for all my stuff and they are out in a flash but still no use if a part needs ordered. What is it doing? or not doing. Oh i hope your day gets better i do feel for you today take care.

nicolamumof3 · 19/11/2009 13:44

not a good morning. Went to docs they have removed all talls/books/magazines because of swine flue and we had a half our wait...boys were awful.

Then went to p.o the steriliser actually cost £7.06 to send i'd underestimated post so im now out of pocket for that, and had to balance it on nipper hood right pita!

just a crap day, still have terry's bday to get, balloons and decs (yes i go ott i know) i actually burst into tears in boots

the machine won't fill with water or drain/spin. not working at all basically.

BexieID · 19/11/2009 14:26

nicola, sorry to hear about your washing machine. Ours gets used once a day if it's lucky, lol. Prob more though as Tom will be wearing pants and peeing.

Car seat saga is still on-going. Insurance may have lost the instruction book I had to send them, grr. So may blinking end up having to buy a new seat, send receipt and await refund. They have e-mailed dept concerned who should be calling me back.

carrielou2007 · 19/11/2009 14:54

My surgery was empty when I went to MW earlier, people staying away due to swine flu, glad dd's dad came over to have dd as they had also removed all the toys etc for the same reason.

I bought a bargain from ebay from a link on here, 24 packs of baby wipes (80 in a pack) hypoallergenic, ff etc 3.99 with free postage!!! Arrived whilst I was out and they are fine (I normally buy pampers sensitive when they are buy 1 get 1 free) dd is making a tower out of them [grn]

carrielou2007 · 19/11/2009 14:55
