Divatheshopaholic · 19/11/2009 15:29

hi all,
sorry to hear you are having crappy day nicola.
i seem to lost one of my earring. i now have odd earrings and broken necklaces collection.
aslo my car broke this afternoon, and dh been on the phone calling garage who worked on it last time. apparently they moved or something they should not have
im least technical, luckily dh knpws about cars and he knew they touched it and damaged it as it only went that garage for repair.
btw, bought stuff debenhams sale, all tops are tiny, i dont think they will last long any news on boden sale dates yet?

maxybrown · 19/11/2009 15:37

Thought Boden sale was 1st Friday in Dec?? But could be wrong

OP posts:
ScattyKatty · 19/11/2009 15:53

Well that would make sense as I've just bought stuff, so the sale is always right after

maxybrown · 19/11/2009 15:56

I didn't find the sale much cop to be honest anyway. Plus you can't use any codes (obviously) and you have to pay delivery so....there you go!! have those coats arrived yet?

Divatheshopaholic · 19/11/2009 15:58

good news, the manager from local garage called and asked dp bring my car so they can look the damage. he sounded reasonable, as there is no way such a damage appear on car.
about boden current 10off will expire before end of november, so i assume sale will besoon after that.

ScattyKatty · 19/11/2009 16:00

Brown one has, no blue one even though ordered at the same time

Brown in lovely, he wore it today and it looked so warm

StrictlyKatty · 19/11/2009 16:06

Oh and Maxy I got 2-3 and that fits DS really nicely so I think you could get that size for James too.

maxybrown · 19/11/2009 16:06

does it fit then?

OP posts:
maxybrown · 19/11/2009 16:09

Lol, cross posts. I would be amazed if so SK. he has the fleece from there stripey, lined in jersey in 18/24 and loads of room in it! Sleeves still too long need turning up. All his tops from there in 18/24 need turning up too well from boys section anyway....

horsemadgal · 19/11/2009 16:11

That was a bargain carrielou!

StrictlyKatty · 19/11/2009 16:11

Oh it fits perfectly. I even thought for a second I should have got a bigger size

Arms not too long either.

nicolamumof3 · 19/11/2009 18:59

feel really down, had a horrible day

still no payment for xt and could really do with that now in case we do have to replace machine.

plus im missing using my xt i haven't used it all week as cleaned it for sale. just feeling sorry for myself

at least got tomorrow to look forward to (going away for DH's bday treat!)

maxybrown · 19/11/2009 20:11

Oh no Nic

Would you have to spend pushchair money on washing machine?

TRY and put it to back of your mind as you will enjoy tomorrow and have a lovely time. I know that's easy to say, but worrying and feeling miserable won't change it, just make you feel bad, so say * it and just look forward to tomorrow xx

i know im a right miso tonight,

just had email from hotpoint confirming my apt for the '22nd' it must be a cancellation, but i've emailed back asking if their engineers work sundays!!! i could cope til monday but what if they need to order parts grrrr!!

maxybrown · 19/11/2009 20:27

No, you're not. It's jus natural that's all.

Oh yeah about 22nd!!! lol. I bey they carry a good range though (surely) - do you have to state the problem when you ring up?? Just wondered if that gives them an indication of what they may need to bring......of course that will probably be too simple!!

How come you haven't had money for XT? Are they still having it?

carrielou2007 · 19/11/2009 20:29

Nicola sorry you are feeling so low .

SK dd will be 3 in 6 weeks and more excited about starting big girls playgroup more so than christmas (doesn't really understand either!)

Got a bit of a telling off from MW as bp has shot up and when I showed her the elephant feet she was a bit stern. Have to go back to get checked sat, sun and next week. Now eating (medicinal) choclate even though it makes my heartburn worse as can no longer drink my beloved diet coke

carrielou2007 · 19/11/2009 20:32

and it's even worse that I can't have a bacardi in it

nicolamumof3 · 19/11/2009 20:50

goodness knows maxy she has a pushchair to sell first, but i've been waiting since monday at least.

StrictlyKatty · 19/11/2009 21:21

So carrie the baby must be due very near you DD birthday? Expensive years ahead

5inthebed · 19/11/2009 21:27

Poor you Nicola

Anyones DC doing anything for Children in Need tomorrow? DS1+2's school are doing a back to front day, they have to wear their normal clothes either inside out or back to front. Should go down well with DS2 who has autism and doesn't like change .

I've been really tired this week. DS3 not sleeping very well at all.

FlyMeToDunoon · 19/11/2009 21:43

Nicola have you checked the filter. One time my machine would not drain, we finally managed to open it and empty it by hand, then it wouldn't work at all and when the engineer came the cause was just a coin blocking the filter
He very kindly did not report it on his form as I should have been charged for calling him out for that apparently.
Worth a look.

BexieID · 19/11/2009 22:00

Dunoon, did you give the engineer the coin?

Toms nursery are having a duvet day tomorrow. They can come in in their PJs. Was gonna let him wear his new Thomas winceyette PJs but spotted the Pudsey bear ones in Asda last week, so got him those.

nicolamumof3 · 19/11/2009 22:40

awww cute bexie!! all the boys will be in their pj's tomorrow for school nursery, im not sure luka will understand and will prob go mental leaving the house, or getting dressed in clean jammies

dunoon i haven't got a clue about the filter!! wouldn't even know how to get to it?!

maxybrown · 19/11/2009 22:46

Usually at the front Nicola! Mine has a panel that you remove first then a little round bit to take off! Should tell you in your instructions.
