That's what I'm waiting for as the colours in the cataglogue are ridiculously different from how they look online so I thought it would be better if I ordered both so I see them in the flesh before I made a final choice.

Well as Christmas when we go to Cheadle I will bring them.... and the Pashley for you to have a look at

maxybrown · 16/11/2009 14:55

lol. There was a pickle on ebay yesterday, didn't see what it went for in the end. An older one, but nice, but it said from age 5.

OP posts:
ScattyKatty · 16/11/2009 14:57

I saw that. age 5 is crazy it's not that big!

ScattyKatty · 16/11/2009 15:00

There is also one on now that they say they had resprayed....OMG you do not change the colour of a Pickle Also I'm very hurt they said the red/yellow is 'Rather Noddy', that's what we have and I love it!

maxybrown · 16/11/2009 15:01

It went for £56. It is a 16" frame though. I only need a 10" for DS

ScattyKatty · 16/11/2009 15:03

a pickle? I couldn't see that on completed, can you link?

Have you thought about a Radio Flyer? DS wants the wagon....

maxybrown · 16/11/2009 15:04

I like the colour, but I DO know what they mean about the Noddy bit....although it had never entered my head until I saw that. I have to say, I HATE Noddy

OP posts:
ScattyKatty · 16/11/2009 15:04

Oh I've found it, they didn't put the word Pickle in.... oops for them!

ScattyKatty · 16/11/2009 15:06

I like Noddy I prefer the yellow/red to blue/red

Normally Pickles go for around £160 2nd hand, but I guess that one was pretty old.

maxybrown · 16/11/2009 15:06

Yes I will get a wagon, we have a VW camper and nearly everyone has them at the shows. Not a radio flyer though, too expensive!! there is a company in Cornwall that does them so will get one of those for next summer.

pashley

ScattyKatty · 16/11/2009 15:07

for James

maxybrown · 16/11/2009 15:08

It wasn't well advertised and yes is older, but still nice.

Have you ever read the original Noddy? he is a spoilt brat! Quite an evil little thing i find

OP posts:
maxybrown · 16/11/2009 15:10

Yes they are lovely....the radio flyers. They often come up on ebay. I don't know how interested he would be though, prob just me!!! he is more like his Dad I think.....being brainy in the office kind of thing certainly doesn't get it from me lol.

OP posts:
ScattyKatty · 16/11/2009 15:11

Noddy EVIL Never!!!!!!!!! read original Noddy as a child and loved it!

Pickles last so well which is really the beauty, as well they should really at £300.... They could def have got more if advertised better.

What do you think of Radio Flyer trike? I love them, so retro lovely

ScattyKatty · 16/11/2009 15:13

I'm really tempted by a wagon.... my sis works in JL during school hols and can get it for £64....

maxybrown · 16/11/2009 15:13

Actually, just remembered there is a metal trike sitting in my sisters cellar for him. It belonged to my ex's niece, who is now 19 she never used it so gave it to my nephew....my sister saves everything. I must ask her about it!!

OP posts:
ScattyKatty · 16/11/2009 15:17

Wow! Awesome. Metal trikes are so much nicer than plastic.

I've heard that VW and radio Flyer go together, why is that?

maxybrown · 16/11/2009 15:21

Read it again, he is very spiteful Noddy.

I just want wagon for shows really but will get this one

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 16/11/2009 15:22

that radio flyer is lovely but omg expensive, i suppose cos i have to buy two of everything makes it even more expensive!!

i must admit Tate never uses a bike i feel bad but its hard to do him on bike and have luka in pushchair he never seems to ask or show much interst in them tho tbh. he is getting mini micro scooter for his bday think he'll like that

maxybrown · 16/11/2009 15:24

THAT I do not know I'm afraid! Surely, Radio Flyer is American and vw German so who knows!! Just a fad everyone grabbed hold of prob!

OP posts:
maxybrown · 16/11/2009 15:27

No Nicola, I only have one and think it is epensive We have a raleigh trike here that DH bought (in a moment of madness and weakness as DS was with him) for his forst birthday and as much as likes going to shops on it, I have to suggest it. I think he likes the look of bikes tbh......or a pedal car maybe. We got that bike for 99p though so see what he makes of that!!

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 16/11/2009 15:32

tates not long been pedalling tbh! he prefers to be pushed around, and shamefully i've never even tried luka!! poor children.

maxybrown · 16/11/2009 15:37

lol, James doesn't pedal either. He can do a bit but can't be bothered. He LOVES walking and running though. I didn't get my first bike until I was 11, makes no difference mind you I self learnt a 2 wheeler at 3.....street wise I was lol.

OP posts:
ScattyKatty · 16/11/2009 15:45

DS is loving his Mini Micro, he got it so quickly I was most impressed!

janx · 16/11/2009 16:33

Afternoon ladies - can I join the chat
Noddy is evil and spiteful as mean to everyone
Luka is desperate for a bike - he climbs on dds and even tries to get on dps....but does not like being a passenger on dps bike - he wants total control. Am going to get him a scooter for his birthday in a couple of weeks - although I think he will use it to escape. He has a trike - no interest in peddaling - loves dd pushing him in it.
Am at work and meant to be doing budgets - but that is too dull for words
