Basl, BJCM arrived Friday . Loving the black colour.

Diva, BS arrived today, tyvm. It is lovely. Can't wait to use it.

Nicola, what are you like!

I'm home now, and DH has taken car to garage. Apparently I've broke the breaks . The car keeps making a squealing noise. I think it was him personally, driving home in that torrential rain on Friday night, because they weren't like that Friday.

Waiting for the courier to collect Spitfire as well. I am well impressed with my boxing skills for that I must say!

nicolamumof3 · 16/11/2009 12:23

oooh 5in i missed that fancy get a pram on your bday!! how fab.

bs will look gorgeous on it.

doesn't my xt look lovely eh ladies, now its all cleaned im not going to use it, think i may have a buyer for it so will wait and see.

5inthebed · 16/11/2009 12:32

XT looks lovely with the orange comfort pack Nic. What id DH say about you selling it?

nicolamumof3 · 16/11/2009 13:43

nothing rolled his eyes and said, you'll be buying another one what a waste of money...

maxybrown · 16/11/2009 13:48

Pretty much the same response as most Dh's then

5inthebed · 16/11/2009 13:49

My DH just looks now lol. Showed him the BJCM, and he was lie "Didn't you have one of those?". Haha, "yes dear, but not in black ".

nicolamumof3 · 16/11/2009 13:53

lol 5in, at least he recognised it thats good.

Most DH's don't get it, but if we worked out how many hours a week we pushed these things eh?

just got back from shops, and luka is currently sleeping in nipper i don't feel why but i don't feel comfortable with it in town. im missing my mac already, so hoping everything sells so i can get a shiny new xlr...which i shall prob hate!!

5inthebed · 16/11/2009 13:58

Did you sell it Nicola? I think you'll hate the XLR and sell it to buy a quest.

He has admitted he likes the bjcm as its easy for the car and doesn't take up the whole boot. We shall see what the mams at school have to say tomorrow.

nicolamumof3 · 16/11/2009 14:02

all about seat size, that luka's not getting any smaller you know!! and with winter coats etc, got to be a good move!!

basl · 16/11/2009 14:03

5in how does it feel to push is it as nice as you remember?

maxybrown · 16/11/2009 14:03

nah I think you'll LOVE the XLr this time I know I have always liked them, but I def prefer this one for some reason. The size is better for toddlers I have to say.....oh we will see no lodger yet? I am still looking out for 360. I love my Nipper so much one got listed BIN for £100 but splits in the handle.....I don't want that as mine is immaculate. better the devil I know maybe....

OP posts:
janx · 16/11/2009 14:07

Nicola - I really like the xlr - and you know how big my ds is! It is bigger and Luka looks more comfy - I do want a footmuff though

nicolamumof3 · 16/11/2009 14:08

messaged lodger seller, she wasn't able to post last week because of weather so she's just post this morning. hopefully it might come tomorrow.

i am just not used to pushing nipper on paths i think, felt strange to have three wheels almost.

£100 is too much if not immaculate. someone moved mine outside nursery and it was covered with flour or something else over the handle (they had been baking) so i got the baby wipes out and cleaned it all. theres certainly no pramaholics there!!

My 360 is still like new even tho im at least the third owner theres not a mark on the handle or the fabrics.

nicolamumof3 · 16/11/2009 14:12

i wonder how a buggysnuggle sits on an xlr as its bigger frame it may not drag?

if you want a maclaren one i'd recommend the chestnut faux fur ones are gorgeous i had one on my ryder.

or you could always get a custom?

maxybrown · 16/11/2009 14:14

My BS doesn't drag on wheels but Sk said her pupa bag does....so don't know really!!

Yes Nicola, that's what I thought about price, it also has some fraying to the hood. All of mine is immaculate too, I laughed at the flour story....that would be me

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 16/11/2009 14:18

pupabags are longer tho?

maxybrown · 16/11/2009 14:22

Ah! THAT be why then! I have never had one but the impression I got was that they were the same size I am going to have to put my BS on in a min to check.....I used it at beg of year though on XLR and am pretty sure I had no problem with it.....that would have driven me potty!!!!

OP posts:
maxybrown · 16/11/2009 14:26

Checked! BS Definitely does not drag on wheels!! Those pupa bags must be really long as BS has quite a way to go before it would drag on wheels.

OP posts:
ScattyKatty · 16/11/2009 14:29

Pupabag deffo drags on XLR, gets so drty and the bottom and has been known to catch in the wheels

Bough DS a huge Steiff teddy for his birthday in a sale today super duper

nicolamumof3 · 16/11/2009 14:33

im not surprised SK the pupabags are v.long another 5cm i recall than BS?

maxybrown · 16/11/2009 14:35

I just looked at on one ebay and it is 110cm long! Wow!!

OP posts:
ScattyKatty · 16/11/2009 14:37

Yep It's sooooooo grubby after 10 mins, I have it tied as tight and high as I can but t still happens

maxybrown · 16/11/2009 14:40

That would drive me mad SK. Bet it'd be ok on Nipper?? I think I will try lodger on Nipper later, STILL not done that.

OP posts:
ScattyKatty · 16/11/2009 14:41

just got this for DS sooooo cheap

I ended up getting a blue and a brown one of the Boden padded jacket as DH had enough credt for them both so I can see the colour and make a decision when they arrive. Does anyone want either of them if I don't keep? Aged 2-3.

maxybrown · 16/11/2009 14:48

I quite like those jackets SK but the Gap ones are down filled, so I can't help thinking it will be better I think 2/3 will drown my DS as their (Boden) boys coats are usually big I have found. I would like to see one in the flesh just to see what they are likethough
