ooh Budgets, yak, much more interesting on here Jan
I'm glad you agreed with me on noddy

Ds is the same about bikes. Mind you not taken him on mine for ages so not sure how he'd be now. Don't fancy it in this weather either

do you think its something about the name Janx, my luka sounds so the same, he likes total power and usually gets it!!

SK the mini micro's are so easy for them aren't they? luka could do it first time he used one, im not buying him one tho he's a law unto himself he wouldn't know how/when to stop at end of road etc. Can't wait for tate to get his i reckon i'll be jogging after him instead of constantly looking over my shoulder.

maxybrown · 16/11/2009 16:55

Are they easier than a bog standard 3 wheel scooter then? I'd never even heard of them before MN

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 16/11/2009 16:59

the board part is kind of flexible they are dead light too v.easy for them to steer and control if you go in a bike shop or JL let DS have a go on one maxy

im waiting for fab jojo code to order mine.

btw anyone got better than 10pc mothercare code?

janx · 16/11/2009 17:00

Yes Nicola - they must be in league with each other - the Luka - I am going to get my way - club. I am only going to let him use his scooter in the park to begin with. He loves walking aswell and did hold my hand all the way to the library the other day - which was about a 20 minute walk - very impressed. DD is getting fed up with him at the moment and heard her saying - look Luka you are not getting away with that behaviour from me!

maxybrown · 16/11/2009 17:30

Ah JL yes of course. Will go sometime and have a look! Think he would like one of those eventually!

Lol Jan, girls are so funny aren't they?! Ds wouls walk everywhere if he could.....loves it but then wants carrying when he gets tired. If I say no, pushchair, he will just keep walking rather than get in even if he's tired!

maxybrown · 16/11/2009 17:41

Nicola you here?

ScattyKatty · 16/11/2009 17:53

Popped out to the P.O to collect Boden order I missed, opened it then and there and wrote the exchange form for a ketchup shaggy hoody aged 2-3, then gave it back to the Postman.... I'm sure he the thought I was mad

Mini Micro's are awesome, so easy to use, well worth the money IMO.

5inthebed · 16/11/2009 17:55

I've got a 20% code, but just for toys.

BS looks lovely on BJCM. Not sure how I'm meant to tie it on though!

ScattyKatty · 16/11/2009 17:56

Oh it wasn't the padded jackets Maxy, just some trousers, so will still have both colours to show you

ScattyKatty · 16/11/2009 17:57

20% code for where 5in?

5inthebed · 16/11/2009 18:03

Mothercare, and also have one for ELC.

nicolamumof3 · 16/11/2009 18:15

no i want it for pushchair!!

i got lovely shaggy zip thru from tu just the same if not better tbh than the boden ones, less than a third of the price too!!

am selling on in 2-3yr actually

maxybrown · 16/11/2009 18:20

Yeah some of the Tu stuff is very Boden isn't it? The sherpa fleece I had from there was much much nicer than the Boden one. Talking of Tu, have you still got the red/white stripey knitted hoody? lol.

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 16/11/2009 18:37

i sold that the other week, was gorgeous he had just grown out of it. just putting up a new trail actually.

luka's wearing green cords today without turn ups so he must be growing again!!

maxybrown · 16/11/2009 18:41

I know it was, I sold it to you lol!! It was HUGE on James when I bought it, but he currently has no jumpers ah c'est la vie eh.

Oh goody!!

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 16/11/2009 19:11

yes i know you did, oh you must have missed that had it on trail the other week a mnetter bought it with some jojo trousers.

I have a cream heavy cotton knitted hooded (similar weight to the stripey one) in 2-3yr what sizes are you looking for?

maxybrown · 16/11/2009 19:52

Hmm, where is it from Nic? James is doing his own fair share of growing at the min too but he still comfortably fits in 18/24 but sometimes 2/3 is ok too

I did see it on your trail once when I was rushing and meant to come back to you - I forgot

let me know what you have anyway

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 16/11/2009 19:59

its next its not on my trail yet, as tate has just grown out of it luka not had it on yet

maxybrown · 16/11/2009 20:07

lol, it'll be too big then that's for sure, what a shame. That navy top I had off you fits him with loads of room to spare and turned up sleeves he is grwing honestly

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 16/11/2009 20:18

aww bless him, he's quite a bit smaller then luka then, he's out of most 18-24m tops now

maxybrown · 16/11/2009 20:24

I hope he's growing anyway! No, he is....he has some LS tops I bought him from boys Boden section in summer and they still need turning up on sleeves. maybe he will be this size forever....???

Well any 18/24 jumpery type things anyway.

OP posts:
maxybrown · 16/11/2009 20:26

He is just very slender, no tummy whatsoever. We ran out of pjs last week......I ended up digging into his "kept baby things bag" and he had a pair of 3/6 month pjs on!!! they were a bit short but ok on his waist.....

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 16/11/2009 20:37

ScattyKatty · 16/11/2009 21:09
