sal1309 · 05/10/2009 09:57

will a p&t sun cover used on a e3 fit a sports model?

BexieID · 05/10/2009 13:22

nicola - yes, i'm taking CD, DVD's and trackies for £10. I'm waiting for payment for something but looks like i'll just have to pay you anyway, lol. Was hoping to keep my wages in the bank for a change.

I think we all have colds. Toms constantly coughing and has runny nose, DP has just e-mailed to say he's the same and I just feel bunged up and achy. Work is really peeing me off as we are so short staffed with people having left and they've not replaced anyone. I'm off saturday and have next week off as it's half term here and my parents are coming up on sunday. So will get to see them and see all the baby stuff they are bringing up inc the P&T.

nicolamumof3 · 05/10/2009 13:35

At least you have that to look forward to then. Bexie can you email me your address as have your parcel ready to go! [email protected] thanks love x

we just got back from shopping trip in Tunbridge Wells, took luka's clothes back and changed then for some slippers for ME! No luck in finding boots for tate had some in Jones i will probably get, tried some gorgeous timberlands on him in russell bromley v.classic chelsea boot style but they were that honey colour no good for Tate! Frustrated that startrites ones only go up to 8.5.

scattykatty · 05/10/2009 13:35

Woo hoo! Samsung have FINALLY agreed to repair the £1000 less than 2 year old TV that has no sound and turns itself on and off

I still HATE Samsung, will never buy from them ever again but at least it'll be fixed!

Really tired already had to buy, wrap, address and post SIL's birthday present as DH is too lazy to go it Made the PO by 3 mins as small village so it closes at 1 every day

nicolamumof3 · 05/10/2009 13:41

nicolamumof3 · 05/10/2009 13:43

BexieID · 05/10/2009 13:44

nicola, just paid.

27 is a 9, so maybe 11?

FlyMeToDunoon · 05/10/2009 15:44

Hi all.
Just got back from DD2's grommets op. What a long boring day [with horrible scary upsetting bits thrown in for good measure]
Off for a lie down. Been up since the crack of dawn.

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 05/10/2009 15:54

oh dunoon forgot it was today, i know how you feel draining isn't it, how is dd?

carrielou2007 · 05/10/2009 21:07

Evening all.

FMTD have a glass of wine and some choc, much love to dd.

Going off pliko switch as all the colours are horrible!! Plus they are very heavy and with a 6-12 month old in it how hard will it be to push?? I don't know, I can't even settle on a changing bag let alone a buggy

FlyMeToDunoon · 05/10/2009 21:13

DD is fine just very tired and dropped off to sleep when her head hit the pillow.
I had a nap and felt much better.
Very quiet here tonight.

nicolamumof3 · 05/10/2009 21:35

Glad she's ok its not easy is it, i was soooo tired after our day there.

it was 2 weeks today so we can now revert to normal hair washing but can't remember how long they said about swimming?

Carrielou if i was pg again im not sure what i'd go for? def something you could comfortably push and rear face for at least a year. i don't think switch good idea for you as its hard to one hand push. Does dd walk far/well without pushchair will you get board?

FlyMeToDunoon · 05/10/2009 21:41

Your boys went back to nursery next day didn't they?
Was that ok?

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 05/10/2009 21:46

well yes they were fine in themselves and driving me nuts! Just see how she is, i'd keep her at home for the day if you're concerned. Tate was really sick after anaesthetic but Luka slept 2.5hrs after op so had a good rest and was fine.

maxybrown · 05/10/2009 21:48

when will/do you notice a difference after having them done?

carrielou2007 · 05/10/2009 21:49

Got the bug cam for rear face/one hand push and hav bought the bugaboo board for dd if she needs it. The pliko is my car buggy but only rear facer of course for the first 4-5 months. Then have the xt unless can find a good compact fold rear facer.

nicolamumof3 · 05/10/2009 21:53

i don't know maxy. the difference for me and the real thing i want it to eliminate is the frequency of ear infections one or the other would have one every 2-3 weeks in the winter. every time they had a cold it would end in an ear infection, raging temps, v.miserable and in pain and constant anti biotics which is why we had them done.

As for luka's speech it has started to improve anyway he's saying alot me. repeating alot of what we say. Random stuff like now he can ask for 'Sheddies' (Shreddies) or Coco pops for breakfast! where before he would just point. He says jam toast, he says milk he could say juice but now says orange or 'fruits' for summer fruits/blackcurrant!

sorry to waffle

nicolamumof3 · 05/10/2009 21:54

i spose its bee carrielou but it does absolutely nothing for me, i still think its a small seat and sooooo looooow! weird.

maxybrown · 05/10/2009 22:01

Hmmm, sounds good then Nicola. Not waffling at all.

I wish DS would speak. It is really getting me down. I am ready for bashing my head against the wall. People say on you'll be sorry when he won't shut up........he doesn't shut up now but it is just drivel. That constant drone is so so....what's the word?

He has no ear problems and understands EVERYTHING. You only ever need to show him something once and that's it, so why he doesn't speak is beyond me.....it is so wearing. Now who's waffling....

nicolamumof3 · 05/10/2009 22:11

Maxy its fine. i was and am still the same with Luka shame you can't get get him into nursery as i think that is really helping luka too. he is suddenly just last few weeks saying stuff some of it only we understand but other words v.clear. he is trying to sing as well as they sing at nursery he does wheels on the bus and twinkle twinkle!

scattykatty · 05/10/2009 22:14

I wish DS's talking would come on too. He can say a lot of words, but not more than 2 words together yet, well he once said 'Mummy swing please' but nothing major. I want to chat to him!

Just done a ton of ironing, read something on AIBU about piles of washing everywhere and it made me feel gilty! It's funny on there everyones priorities, one women saying she hates washing so is paying for service washes.. another saying the tumble dryer is too expensive so she has it done at a launderette [gmm] odd!
