ooh glad you said that, was going to ask you when it ended. Will try and get there tomorrow. Got DS some lovely towelling sleepsuits. he looks soooooo cute! He hasn't been in sleepsuits since he was 3 months old. He is always hot but his room here is soooooooooooooooo cold he needs snuggling up! I got 3 sleepsuits and 5 bodysuits towelling for £6 I think and they are lovely

I have just seen a jasper conran hooded jacket though too on debenahms website

nicolamumof3 · 04/10/2009 21:07

5inthetomb · 04/10/2009 21:14

Nicola, can I borrow you a minute on MSN? I promise I'll put you right back

nicolamumof3 · 04/10/2009 21:24

maxybrown · 04/10/2009 21:39

I always feel like I've done something wrong when you clear off to MSN naturally guilty conscience eh?! i haven't really, honestly!

Dunoon, whatever happened with that Ikea set from ebay by the way? Kept meaning to ask!

5inthetomb · 04/10/2009 21:43

You have every right to be Maxy. Me and Nicola often discuss you .

Was just asking Nicolas opinion on something to do with my pram, nothing exciting really. I can email you it if you want

maxybrown · 04/10/2009 21:54

I wasn't saying it to be nosey. None of my business. I really do always feel guilty at tings like that - you know when scammers appear, I feel guilty then too, even though I haven't scammed anyone!! Mad eh.

I doubt I am worthy of your air time anyway

scattykatty · 04/10/2009 21:56

Wow Maxy you'd make a lovely Cathloic

5inthetomb · 04/10/2009 21:56

Aww Maxy. I think you're great

I always feel guilty as well. I can remember when I first "joined" this board, and there was a bit of a to do about someone who had bought off the boards and stuck it on Ebay for loads more. Even though I knew it wasn't me, I felt guilty

scattykatty · 04/10/2009 21:59

And I know what you mean about the scammer guilt. My first thought was oh c**p I've paid for 3 things I don't have yet, followed swiftly by 'do I owe anyone anything'.....?!

maxybrown · 04/10/2009 21:59

I am the sort of person who always looks guilty I think. I would be in confession everyday SK and would never really know why!

Someone once told me I couldn't lie my way out of a brown paper bag.

I'm not too soft though

5inthetomb · 04/10/2009 22:04

Maxy, have emailed you

I am useless at lying. DH said I'd make a really bad thief.

scattykatty · 04/10/2009 22:06

That's a good thing!

Bugger nest sold for just £18. £2 less than I paid for it. Others recently have been going in the 20's.
Ikea bedding set buyer went quiet and then out of the blue contacted again to say she had had to wash duvet and rinse three times to get rid of 'grainy' feel. She had managed to ruin the pillow somehow. Probably washed on too high a temperature.
Anyway just to get shot of it all I offered a £1.01 partial refund which she thanked me for. Hope that's the end of it.
She got a duvet, pillow, fitted sheet, duvet cover and pillowcase for £6!
Grrr.

rusmum · 04/10/2009 22:45

thanks

basl · 04/10/2009 23:48

hi thanks for the vote of confidence on the end of pram addiction. Nic i do so much want to try a mac but think it is too late now. I tried one in john lewis but it felt really rattly if you know what i mean. I know i have asked this a thousand times and bless you all so patient and keep on give the answers. Would a chunky 1year old be comfy in one? I still have my baby jogger elite and love this for all the walks to nursery etc but i would like a nice pushchair for going shopping or when with hubby who has a fit when is suggest taking the elite. I think i am a bit spoilt with the elite now and anything else always seems plasticy and rattles along. Although i must admit i still have the obaby atlas which is very good but still too narrow for my big baby. Do you think i should hire one and have a shot. Oh and i always like the sound of those nipper 360 you talk about. It would seem so much easier than the elite but i do love the huge seat the hood and the fact that my dd who is 4 can jump on the front foot rest easily if she is a little tired after nursery. I know that is not what it is meant for but she is so light and i think the elite is designed for one of those seats anyway so don't worry too much about the extra weight. It still is so easy to push with both kids sitting in one seat giggling away at sharing the one seat. Thanks again for all the fab advice.

nicolamumof3 · 05/10/2009 07:45

i hate taking my nipper in the car, it doesn't fold with buggysnuggle tied on so you have to untie that then the fold is just 'big' as its a three wheeler they all are.

Maclaren XT would last til DS goes to school Tate is 4 in December and fits in no probs. The XT is perfect for older toddlers imo.

oh morning all btw!!!

Maxy are you on msn? you can always join us for a chat

bexie no probs, Shelly off other board is having SUV, so you're taking CD, DVD's and trackies for £10? just that im off to p.o later and like to get it all sent in one go

maxybrown · 05/10/2009 07:52

Morning!

I think that Nipper issue must be a 360 thing you know as mine folds with BS on. It is obviously slightly different isn't it? Apart from the obvious differences!

But agree about XT - want one

MSN - I need to check it out. Not been on that for ages. Wonder if I can remember my name? Did I have a name?? Going to have a look in a min!!

nicolamumof3 · 05/10/2009 07:57

its cos the seat back has to fold in right forwards so stops it with the buggysnuggle in place.

XT is such a nice push after triumph or quest just feels more solid, i've always loved them as you know! i've been using nipper all w/end looking forward to using xt today was going to town on train to take some bits back to next but woke up to pouring rain, first time in weeks.

maxybrown · 05/10/2009 08:00

and it's dry here - fancy!

I know what you mean about back of nipper but mine still folds.....wonder what difference is? Mine is quite often folded in out house with BS on. Ah Mind you I don't tie it on - would that make a difference?

I've got jeans to go back to Next too you reminded me!

sal1309 · 05/10/2009 08:37
