Mine were up at 6 am and to bed, tonight by 7.30 pm. They played so nicely all day too. I was amazed! I'm really hoping tomorrow goes as well. Up til now the holidays have been tricky. Perhaps it was all pre xmas tension.
Keeping my eyes open for january sale stroller bargains....anyone seen any discount codes?

aswellasyou · 25/12/2011 21:31

Merry Christmas everyone! Xmas Smile I hope you've all had a good day. I'm exhausted and I've hardly done anything except travel, eat and open presents.

Misdee, I notice you've had two Mutsy 4Rider Lights, what did you think of them? Or anyone else who's had a 4Rider/4Rider Light? I'm confused about the wheels. Does the Light have foam tyres and the non-Light have air tyres?

TwinkleWunkleChristmasStar · 25/12/2011 21:32

DD has just gone to bed. We all had a perfect family Christmas. I dont think it could have been much better - well I hope maybe next year when DS can open all his presents on his own (we have literally just a few mins ago finished his!!)
As for stroller bargains. The John Lewis one is the only one that could tempt me. I haven't seen anything other than the Zapp Xtra on Tesco, Kiddicare, JL etc to tempt me. I am hoping someone spots an interesting bargain!

What is that one from john lewis really? I don't know where they bought it in from our how good it is. It looks nice.

suzie38 · 25/12/2011 22:11

Glad everyone's had a great Christmas...DD woke up around 8am and played in her cot until 8.30am...Didn't take long to open Santa's presents...Saved the one's under the tree until after lunch so my parents could watch her...Then she napped in the afternoon before we went round to SIL&BIL for 3 hours...DD has just gone to bed...The mummy and daddy pile of presents on the sofa haven't been opened yet so Christmas Day round 2 tomorrow...You'll be amazed at her diet today!!! 6oz SMA toddler milk, Christmas lunch was a few Quavers, small amount of custard, tiny Lindt Santa and cut a brussell up with a knife...Tea was 1/8 of a small cob...Supper was 6oz SMA toddler milk again...I think a 'Robin' eats more than she does.

PresentsRibbonsAndMerrySantas · 25/12/2011 22:35

lol, mine have ate choc today, they all left their dinner, and most of their ham roll at tea time, will be hiding the choc tonight though, so they will be eating proper tomorrow Xmas Grin

The John Lewis one is a MyChild Mezzo in disguise. I have the other MyChild (aka JL one), the Pinto here at present. Some features seem good, others less so. But it's nice looking. I haven't had chance to give it a good look yet - it's the first project for my new camera Xmas Grin

I'm quite liking this one as the fold is surprisingly short for that type of fold ie the Jane's are a lot longer...Wonder if Bebecar's are still as bouncy as they used to be???

suzie38 · 26/12/2011 08:57

PS...The front wheel housing looks the same as the Go's so would be easy to knock compacted snow out if need be.

TwinkleWunkleChristmasStar · 26/12/2011 11:14

That looks like a handy little pushchair to have. I like small folding pushchairs.

I am excited to see signs of the Micralite Twofold. I think that will be my first Micralite :)

Have any of you seen the new Koelstra pushchairs? They're nice looking, but they're described as being compact and lightweight even though they're not very compact and definitely not lightweight. Xmas Hmm

aswellasyou · 26/12/2011 12:47

But I do like the additional removeable basket you can get for it.

suzie38 · 26/12/2011 13:04

The Binque is over 1kg heavier and a lot large folded that the Brio Go...Do like the look of it but i need small folded though weight isn't really an issue.

TwinkleWunkleChristmasStar · 26/12/2011 13:42

I have been looking a lot at Koelstras recently. They apparently have a very good reputation. Even Bugaboo apparently once aspired to make products as good as Koelstra. Is the Binque the one with the easy fold? Do you think the extra shopping basket fits in pushchair mode? It seems to imply it does but I don't know if they are taking about the chassis not with the seat on. It seems odd to show it with the car seat on and not with the seat unit on.

Someone has sent this question to me on eBay via my Xari listing...

I have a quick question because I am a first time mum to be and looking for a pram. If you are a self confessed pramaholic what is the best and most convienient pram to use? Its needs to be easy for the other half. Many thanks and happy Xmas.

Gawd what a hard question to answer!!! I've no idea because having had so many pushchairs each has it's own specific appeal.

PresentsRibbonsAndMerrySantas · 26/12/2011 19:15

the vista, but hey the xari is very easy to use too!!!!! Xmas Grin

suzie38 · 26/12/2011 19:18

Yes the Xari is very easy and would be great from birth as you'd get plenty of use and by the time the toddler is getting too big you'd have some sort of stroller anyway.

PresentsRibbonsAndMerrySantas · 26/12/2011 19:22

my dd still fits at 3 Xmas Smile

PresentsRibbonsAndMerrySantas · 26/12/2011 19:25

Maxi-Cosi CabrioFix or CYBEX Aton. for the xari

saoirse86 · 27/12/2011 10:58

Am I the only one who thinks that's a bit of a cheeky question?! Xmas Hmm It reminds me of when DP had a question saying they see he lives in Birmingham and they want to come to Birmingham in a couple of weeks, could he recommend a hotel! Xmas Shock

Anyway, I'd tell her the xari is definitely the best, and great for a man as it's tall! Xmas Wink But there's so much more info you'd need to know before recommending something.

FriggFRIGGYPudding · 28/12/2011 09:04

Have you guys seen? They've recalled bugaboo bees in the USA due to a 'fall hazard' I can't link ons my iPad but holly shultz has done an article...

suzie38 · 28/12/2011 09:11

Same issue as we've had over here.
