ooh yes, i think that is it! thanks mp :)

i am loving the look of the babyzen yoyo!

aswellasyou · 14/10/2011 10:56

Monkeys, I'm desperately looking for a Superlite to buy, so I may be a buyer for your snow wheels when they arrive. Grin

Hungrydragon · 14/10/2011 12:45

mountain buggy collection from Fulham BIN £30.00 just been listed on ebay

aswellasyou · 14/10/2011 13:15

I've never seen a Mountain Buggy Rollerbug before.

suzie38 · 14/10/2011 16:02

Cancelled the insurance on my old car so will be getting a £260 refund shortly...Still pondering on the Xari seat size!!!

pramsgalore · 14/10/2011 16:12

suzie - how tall is your dd? i have just measured my dd and she is 88cm and she fits fine with room to grow, you can still see the red seat cushion clearly above her head and her legs don't look cramped at all.

suzie38 · 14/10/2011 16:19

I think she's about 86cm but will need to confirm as measuring not the easiest thing as she often protests!!! At 24.36 minutes on last nights The One Show there's a pushchair in the background that looks rather like a Cosmo Xari in carrycot mode...Only thing against it is it looks quite low down but that could be the distance and angle of the view.

pramsgalore · 14/10/2011 16:41

i don't think it is,on the front wheels the axles seem to be at an angle and on the xari it is straight accross [level] they also look a bit thin on the xari the front axel is quite chunky,
your dd is 2 cm shorter than mine, i can not see seat size being an issue, honestly mine has plenty of growing room, and she has just had a growth spurt so i don't expect her to have another soon, shes a very slow grower Smile. although i have to say if i had have gone to jl to see before i bought i would not have got one as the seat looked tiny, it must have been the colour dark grey that made it look small, mine looks bigger although is the same size, i think because it is in white it makes it look bigger.
i tell you what my dd1 has poor taste in music she is playing drummer boy very loud, whats wrong with a bit of Rick Astley - Never Gonna Give You Up or Mel & Kim - Repectable Grin

pramsgalore · 14/10/2011 16:49

but saying that the more i look at it the more i think it just might be, its the angle of it and distance, the seat is high up on the xari, like a stokke, don't know about carrycot mine don't have one.

suzie38 · 14/10/2011 16:57

Yuck...I can't stand Rick Astley's 'Never gonna give you up'...Have to turn the radio off if i hear it!!! Maybe the silver Cosmo seat will look bigger???

pramsgalore · 14/10/2011 16:59

i fancied rick astley when younger Blush

suzie38 · 14/10/2011 17:09

I was into the NKOTB...Found a picture on the Cheeky Rascals Facebook page of a nearly 4 year old in a Cosmo Kobi.

pramsgalore · 14/10/2011 17:11

my little sis was into them lol, so are you going to get a xari then!!!!!!

suzie38 · 14/10/2011 17:51

Does it push easier than a Cameleon???

pramsgalore · 14/10/2011 18:28

about the same, but i prefer to push the xari, because the handle is so much nicer, i also think the xari takes a camber in the path a little better

Tiggywunkle · 14/10/2011 18:30

The Kobi pushed easier than a Cham. My DD seriously is just three and out of age 4-5 clothes and she was in the Kobi this summer. She's 99cms at present and has been there for a couple of months now.
I saw a Rollerbug for sale about a month ago. I really really fancied it but reckoned it would be huge folded. I bet it's great off road.
I fancy a YoYo too. The Babyzen is fantastic and I love the small fold.

suzie38 · 14/10/2011 18:33

DD let me measure her today and went straight over to the doorway where i tried measuring last time...She's 84cm...Now i find the Donkey pushes so much easier than my Cameleon from memory, as i found the Frog far easier to push than the Cameleon...I think it's definetely the air tyres.

pramsgalore · 14/10/2011 18:50

my cam has air tyres, i would have loved to try a donkey, but a bit late now though.
i don't like the handle on my cam, much prefer the xari one. i think the cam is a lovely push, even going down kerbs. but i now have the suspention on hard for the front wheels, i even pushed ds in it, don't get me wrong it was heavy to push and he looked far too big, but it was ok, would never let him in the xari though!!!

pramsgalore · 14/10/2011 18:54

suzie, i though my dd was tiny!!!! is she 3 yet, dd is 3 next friday, its gone so fast, everyday now she walks home from school in the mornings. so pushing an empty xari Sad, all though she soon gets tired legs, so on long walks she is happy sat in pushchair.

suzie38 · 14/10/2011 21:06

My DD is 2 and a half at begining of November so they're probably on par...She's always followed the 9th line but the 84cm puts her on the 2nd line now but height measurement isn't the easiest to do...DD loves to run an awful lot but does often nip in and out of pushchairs but i'll keep using mine for as long as possible, just so i don't have to carry bags or have to carry DD...Tesco is a good 20 minutes for me at pace.

pramsgalore · 14/10/2011 21:23

lol, i will keep my pushchair right up until she starts school Grin, don't see no need to struggle with shopping and dd when i can just take the pushchair, little legs can only walk so far and often you need to just get there. and i can not carry dd for any length of time due to my back either, so carrying her is not an option.

Tiggywunkle · 14/10/2011 22:24

I am gutted because DD at just three is wanting to walk more. I took a single pushchair yesterday to Argos and I couldn't hide a Christmas Present from her eyes and all the way home she wanted to know who the Peppa Pig present was for! She also wants to push the pushchair which is a complete pain because she either pulls the handle down to her height, or grabs both handles so that I cant push, or I end up tripping over her! Arrghhh! I am in no hurry to lose the double (we do a mix of walking and pushing with her) but the end of doubles is in sight :(

MonkeysPunk · 15/10/2011 08:17

Tiggy, you shouldve taken the Vista with a piggyback board. The present might have fitted in tge basket beneath!
I managed to get a bargain icecream maker and cupcake baker (boxed) plus bag of ferret food in the basket of mine.Grin

pramsgalore · 15/10/2011 11:05
