I had 2, because my dad tried to clean out the first ones eyes with solvent but it just gave her a bad case of conjunctivitis with stuck up eyes so i had to have a new one...When i finished with her, i pierced her ears about 10 times in each ear!!!

pramsgalore · 01/10/2011 16:21

my pride and joy was my sindy house and sindy doll, i still look at them on ebay, always tempted to get myself another dd's one to play with Smile my mum sold mine still have not forgiven her

suzie38 · 01/10/2011 16:28

I had Sindy dolls but always the ballet ones, so by Boxing Day they'd already got 'broken' wrists and ankles!!! Dad's still got my caravan in the loft and my sister's car to tow it...Bet the furniture's up there as well as my dad throws nothing away...DD is NOT having Barbie!!!

pramsgalore · 01/10/2011 19:36

That lady said she's going to sell her Xplory, then buy mine as she's sure she's going to get quite a bit for it, having so many extras...Said she's had no issues with hers.

Honeydragon · 01/10/2011 20:30

Oh that's good Suzie Smile

OP posts:
pramsgalore · 01/10/2011 20:32

thats really good, hopefully she will sell it really quick Smile

suzie38 · 01/10/2011 20:35

That Kobi is listed on eBay again.

suzie38 · 01/10/2011 20:39

And there's a Donkey listed as well.

pramsgalore · 01/10/2011 20:48

how strange and she still has no reserve on it either. i do like the donkeys, but don't have a spare £850 and i think dp would leave if i bought another expensive pushchair Grin, but then i would get my weekends kid free as they would be at their dads Hmm Wink

suzie38 · 01/10/2011 21:37

Wink Good thinking!!! lol

Tiggywunkle · 01/10/2011 21:39

Tiggywunkle · 01/10/2011 22:07

To be fair....he's just done dome wonderfully amazing things for me today which are worth much much much more than a Donkey...so today wasn't really the right day to mention it...never say never!!

MonkeysPunk · 03/10/2011 09:57

Just got back from school/ pre-school 4 mile round walk....first job as I get home? To clean the dog dirt off the pram wheels! Ewww! Angry
Went to Brands Hatch yesterday, it was boiling! 28.5C! Took the uppababy Vista, which was the perfect choice. Great sun protection, nice high comfy seat, basket large enough for family picnic and drinks plus changebag and camera. It also happens to look pretty good in the sunshine as the fabric almost glitters it has a lovely sheen. We got many admiring glances, and Ds looked v comfy and relaxed.
I did also think it would've been good to have had a mima xari or kobi for this kind of outing also. It would've looked good in the pit lane.

Honeydragon · 03/10/2011 12:46

Misdee

you should be able to get one at the end of October. The new wheels appear to have resolved the problem.

OP posts:
misdee · 03/10/2011 12:56

mmm might wait till the new year and see what the verdict is on the new wheels.

Honeydragon · 03/10/2011 21:36

14kg is too heavy for a pushchair isn't it? No matter how much you like it?

OP posts:
TruthSweet · 03/10/2011 21:43

Which pushchair is 14kg? One of the Polish ice-cream jobbies?

mamaesi · 03/10/2011 21:57

does anyone have experience with the uppababy vista with rumble seat?

a friend offered to bring one over from new york...and I am wondering how good it is for a toddler/newborn tandem?

Honeydragon · 03/10/2011 22:14

No, I have found an italian ice cream jobbie Grin

MonkeysPunk · 04/10/2011 11:55

mamaesi I believe Tiggy here was getting a rumble seat soon so she may be able to advise you.
I have the piggyback board which is very good. Sorry I can't comment on the rumble seat. I imagine if you got one to try, and didn't like it, it shouldn't be difficult to sell on, as they're hard to come by in the UK.
