I just can't decide lol!! Arrghh! DH isn't remotely interested either, and I got it wrong last year with the old granny knitting ones that I daren't tell him I am thinking of getting more...

5inthebed · 15/08/2011 16:26

I have had 2 BJCM's, why did I not think of those?! DS2 used to sit in one at the age of 4/5, think I might just have to get one!

MonkeysPunk · 15/08/2011 17:04

I'm on my 3rd bjcm now....so they're obviously v good but I cannot figure why I end up selling. I think I was thinking umbrella fold was the way to go for public transport but I just cannot make do with a little umbrella one, my outings are too long! I have too much stuff to carry. I just cant manage with them. I need a true one handed push due to needing a hand free for older siblings or my youngest when he's having a walk.
I'm not really sorry to have sold on the previous ones though. I adore the colour of this plum one. It's gorgeous! And not too girly for a boy. A deep purple. Easy to live with, not too bright, a lovely change from all black.
I really want to crochet a zig zag blanket in plum and blue and charcoal hues to go with It. If only I could successfully crochet!
I have ordered the matching snuggle bag I like the colour so much.

5inabed, the Micralite is certainly nice to push and suitable for a tall child, but I think the bjcm offers them more comfort and more onboard storage space which is accessible than the Micralite offers.
It depends on the length of your outings I guess.
If I was a toddler and the weather was either very wet, very windy, very cold or even very hot and sunny, I would much rather be in the bjcm.
The Micralite might be a little easier to push, but its also easily tipped over. In crowded shops people trip over the front wheels of the Micralite, then glare at you!

YEh, not going to be used loads, he mainly walks. Going to use more for my trip to EuroDisney in November.

Had a beautiful superlite, but it was a tiny bit too long for my boot, where the BJCM fitted beautifuly. Hmm, what to do what to do.

Might just look for a cheap BJCM.

TruthSweet · 15/08/2011 18:07

Anyone have the low-down on the Combi doubles (caterpillar/WE2) Are they generous seats or do they have tiny backs?

Would I regret buying on when I have a BJCMD too?

Honeydragon · 15/08/2011 18:24

Iirc they are not disimilar in size to the cosatto doubles, but a better fold. Nevre used a double combi so can't comment on performance Smile

Tiggywunkle · 15/08/2011 20:48

I soooooooooo want a Stroll-air Duo...
I am sat here counting pennies and magic beans.....
:(

TruthSweet · 15/08/2011 20:59

That's a pretty pram and it's just what I need with a 55cm seat back and reversible seats.....

suzie38 · 15/08/2011 21:05

I'm sitting here Sad as no movement with my Orbit yet...Only good news is that the accessory box has caught up and arrived at Castle Doonington yesterday...So hope it arrives late afternoon.

Stroll air Duo does look nice.

Tiggywunkle · 15/08/2011 21:40

I know....I think I need to shift a few pushchairs first!

Tiggywunkle · 15/08/2011 21:50

BTW the Valco is fab although DD can't understand she canyptvlean back on the hood...it will need to be removed for now. However I had a really freaky moment. Valco I believe is a Australian company but the Valco is the clone of the TFK Twinner Twist Duo. As I was unpacking it, it was an OMG moment. The fold is the same, the basket is the same, the zip recline is the same, the seat padding is the same, the harness system is the same, even the stitching and the rivets are the same. The main difference really apart from the branding is the front footrest piece piece where the toddler seat sits. It is freaky! is there any connection do you think? I thought TFK were German.

Tiggywunkle · 15/08/2011 21:52

BTW the chassis are slightly different too...but still the likenesses are freaky...

suzie38 · 15/08/2011 21:55

There's another Valco that i was interested in ages ago that was the clone of something else, it might have been the Vista...Vista, B Dual, Brio Sing are all basically the same pushchair.

aswellasyou · 15/08/2011 21:58

Their triple pushchair is the same as the T3 as well. Maybe they just buy pushchairs and copy them.Grin

Tiggywunkle · 15/08/2011 22:10

Maybe...it was just very odd lol!

Tiggywunkle · 15/08/2011 22:11

I think it was the details though...the same rivets, the same reflective stitching etc

Tiggywunkle · 15/08/2011 22:11

Sorry..I should have said that I found freakily alike!

suzie38 · 15/08/2011 22:12

The Twister is on loan isn't it???

aswellasyou · 15/08/2011 22:16

I did wonder whether they were the same company as the maker of the T3/T4 too. Valco Tri Mode Twin T3 Confused

Tiggywunkle · 15/08/2011 22:20

Ok..be honest...will this Buggysnuggle fit with the grey brown of the Blackjack iCandy Peach hood...(you won't see more than that)?? I am struggling so much....does anything work better?

Tiggywunkle · 15/08/2011 22:25

The T3 and Valco look more alike chassis and shape wise than the Twinner Twist. It was the reflective stitching that I first noticed, then the folding mechanism is identical, the basket is the same (but single) and like I said the seat padding (its unusual), harnesses, and even the rivets.

FriggFRIGG · 15/08/2011 22:27

any of them will go with black tiggyGrin

FriggFRIGG · 15/08/2011 22:29

oooh and my OIOI Hobo giraffe print bag arrived today,it is perfect and i am in love Grin

Tiggywunkle · 15/08/2011 22:33

But it's not black..it's actually brown...
Glad you like your bag :o
