This is as imaginative as I get!Wink
Frigg, my Mum works for the City Council doing disability adaptations to resident's houses. She goes to assessments with an OT, decides on adaptations needed, designs them, draws up plans, applies for planning permission and oversees the work. She's been in the same job since she was 18 so she's learnt a lot about all sorts of dsabilities along the way.

GrinI hope he's not planning on getting one of the children up to go for a nighttime ride!
I can't believe they're treating you so badly and how irritating that you can't get your pushchair while knowing they're nearby.Confused

That's a shame about the Kobi....nice try :)
I have one wide awake baby here at present.....hence being stuck here. Am I the only one who spends most of the day feeding one or more children??
I was all fine till I saw the 'in stock ready to ship'...

aswellasyou · 04/08/2011 23:19

It was worth a go! I have a very awake baby too. We're currently playing give Mummy the chewed up chocolate wrapper (mine not hers!). It seems to be her most prized posession at the moment. Hmm She goes to bed with me because she refuses to sleep anywhere but right next to me at night. And she feeds all evening long still despite being ten and a half months. I think she has attachment issues!Grin

aswellas,DS does that too,he's asleep on my lap ATM,snoring VERY loudly Grin

Tiggywunkle · 04/08/2011 23:30

Mine is now very cutely snoring in the crook of my arm. Typing isn't easy. Hubby and I finally have got the ABC folded....I haven't seen it yet coz baby started to cry. Hubby thinks it will fit in the car. He also wants to swap the seat mainly so DS can also go on top sometimes. I am sure DD will fit underneath for some time yet.
One fantastic pushchair....I wish we had got this at the start....

aswellasyou · 04/08/2011 23:33

Grin We're not the only ones then. Other babies seem to happily go to sleep at 8pm and wake up at 8am. Imara goes to sleep at about 1am 12 and wakes up at about 9.30 after waking up three or four times for about 10 seconds of feeding.Hmm Speaking of which, I'm taking her to bed now.

Tiggy, you might never have made BB if you got everything right first time!Wink I enjoy learning from my pushchair mistakes.Grin

FriggFRIGG · 04/08/2011 23:46

thats not fair aswellas, mine go to bed late, and wake up early!Envy
we started putting DD down early now as we realised it doesnt matter what time she goes to bed,she wakes at 6:30 anyway!

Tiggywunkle · 04/08/2011 23:56

I would never have done BB if it hadn't been for the orginal Peach Blossom and the wonderful iCandy who listen and act upon suggestions.
My baby likes lying in until 10am....but try and we might he doesn't want to sleep much before 10pm. He had no nap today either coz we didn't go out in a pushchair in the rain!! Bless him..his bedroom and cot are full of pushchairs and seats...one day he will want it back!

Can you see that? Is it too reclined??

Tiggywunkle · 05/08/2011 00:03

I cant decide between these two seats. The reclining one would mean both children could go on top, but it looks too reclined really. Plus its slightly set higher. The hood on the static one is detachable...which gives better visibility. I am not sure DD would like to simply face me...she enjoyed turning round and looking. But 18kgs isn't that far away. Aiiikkk I want to buy a second seat I think....and try it....

FriggFRIGG · 05/08/2011 00:12

wow, that is very reclined (you can see it well if you click on the picture)
...TBH i wanted a reclining second seat, but seeing that one,i dont know....

FriggFRIGG · 05/08/2011 00:14

have you seen this you ca get brand new ones shipped to the uk for £749....

Tiggywunkle · 05/08/2011 00:25

Yes..there's another company that ship - its a shop so you can go and select what you want. I wanted to order a toddler seat plus new liner and cosy toes and got it all in my basket...but it was about £300 and I couldn't justify it when the pushchair only cost £100!! I would love a new shiny one.
I am not sure now about the reclining toddler seat....but there is this you tube video of a 5 year old....and she looks very comfy (if a tad big!)

Tiggywunkle · 05/08/2011 00:28

This littlie looks very comfy and not too reclined...

Tiggywunkle · 05/08/2011 00:29

The Oz Shop selling ABCs

MonkeysPunk · 05/08/2011 09:55

If you are wanting an ABC buggy new you should email Phil direct because there were sales earlier this year - and it cost a LOT less direct from him than from the ebay link or online (around £500 inc toddler seat I think, including shipping)... adventurebuggycompany.com/ [email protected]
I can't say if the sales prices are still on - but it's definately worth an ask if you're interested. The black seats are bigger than the other colours too.

Tiggywunkle · 05/08/2011 10:54

I have mailed him but had no response re the toddler seats and bits I wanted :(

aswellasyou · 05/08/2011 11:08

Frigg, I'm so sad you're selling the Kobi.Sad Last night Imara slept 7 hours waking up three times! I'm so tired. I used to be a 10-12 hours a night person.Hmm
The top seat does look very reclined. Does it not move?Confused Frigg, does this mean you're not interested in the one on eBay?!Wink

OP posts:
aswellasyou · 05/08/2011 11:12

Look at this! How many children can you pile onto an ABC?Grin You can put a double seat ontop too.Shock

OP posts:
Tiggywunkle · 05/08/2011 11:54

You can do better than that!! One double, with a double top (there's one of those on EBay) plus you may even be able to get one of the front seats (I think there are two) on the front!!!

Tiggywunkle · 05/08/2011 11:59
Kind of like this.....I wonder if you could get six children on????
Tiggywunkle · 05/08/2011 11:59

Try again!

FriggFRIGG · 05/08/2011 12:01

Im sad im selling the kobi too....
im certainly in no rush! but the nursery ive finally decided on has a tiny entrance, you have to leave the buggys outside whilst you are dropping off/picking up,Shocki just couldnt leave the kobi sat outside!!
its also getting a little tight around DD's head now as shes had a massive growth spurt! she IS 3 after all.

so i want a bee+ for DS,a tandem (either the ABC OR the +One)and something to chuck in the car, maybe a BJCMD.....

Tiggywunkle · 05/08/2011 13:11

I think the seating configurations are far better on the ABC. There is a recline for the baby which goes under the eldests feet. But even without a recline the baby can sleep easily ie no bolt upright seat. I like the removable rucksack/ basket for outings. Also you can remove the top seat and you have a cute looking single. As you know from playing, it's not as refined though eg the fold, the pins aren't easy to do but to walk out the door with it's fab! As a package deal with everything eg raincover, cosy toes, liner etc etc included it's great value for money new. It's not too babyish too. I just wonder how warm it will be on top with no cosy toes etc.
