Wow. I think I want the purple and black b dual. However my youngest is now 3y.
I don't need a double. Unless I buy a doll to go with it! Wine
I've got 3 buggies to sell on eBay, having second thoughts about selling the maclaren xlr now. It's so pretty. Not sure when I'd use it.[cofused]
I'm loving the swift, which is most practical for almost all occasions. I may even sell my bj summit, not because I don't love it, but the swift is almost as good but more compact.
I got a nomad snugglebag for the swift off eBay. It's particularly awesome because it is silver!
Also the top part completely removes leaving a fleecy liner. With the top part zipped on you can turn it back and popper back over the bumper bar. Fab fab fab.
Maybe I should keep the xlr longer before selling. Incase I want to take a bus.
I'm probably just being silly. The swift will always win when choosing.

suzie38 · 11/06/2011 20:51

Yes the American B Dual equivalent has the bucket seat with built in footrest...Why do they always get the better made products???

saoirse86 · 11/06/2011 20:52

Guildford that Ceety looks really good quality unlike most around at the moment. I'm surprised that this was a B Dual because I think of them as big and bulky and not that interesting. I'm a convert! Not that I'll buy one because I can't afford it. Sad

aswellasyou · 11/06/2011 20:52

Oops. I never learn to sign out of Saoirse's account!

suzie38 · 11/06/2011 20:54

I've got 6 buggies to sell now...3 Vigours, Brio Go, Super Dreamer and my Graco Flip It...Coveting an Oyster that's not too far from me...I could use it until i get my Strawberry, couldn't i??? Wink

Guildfordnanny · 11/06/2011 20:56

Lol you sound like me. Hubby has persuaded me to part with the Zapp. He was even trying to work out cubic capacities of the Zapp v's BJCM! He wasn't chuffed when I said a new four wheel BJCM was on the cards one day soon. But he does know about the Contours and Halo now Blush So question - do I swap the Zapp fabric and make it like new or sell the old fabric (it's fine) on the chassis and sell the fabrics separately (I would sell the old fabrics too)?? The Nomad snuggle bag sounds gorgeous. I am off for a look!

MonkeysPunk · 11/06/2011 21:09

There were two nomads available, and I ended up getting both, one for the wash, one to wear...
Second one hasn't arrived yet though.
I like the nomad designed ones better than the one tree hill ones personally.

aswellasyou · 12/06/2011 12:13

I've got a new Boots code. It's MYFD44 for 10% off when you spend £80 or more. I've just tried it on a Swift and they're now doing triple points so if you're also in the Parenting Club, you get 7200 points (£72 worth) and it's only £360. And there's 7%/3.5% cashback through Quidco for new/existing customers.
So you get it for the equivalent of £262.80/£275.40!
Do I sound like a saleswoman?Blush

MonkeysPunk · 12/06/2011 12:22

That's a very cool offer on the swift then! Grin
I can say the swift is a fab buggy - really good for everyday, school run, shopping, weekend outings - it copes with almost everything we've tried - and it's small enough for following deer tracks through the "bush" in the forest (where a larger all terrain may get stuck) or really narrow pathways between sand dunes too. Sometimes more compact is a bonus (especially at the school summer fayre - or in nice boutiques - and even outdoors as mentioned above).
PS - must imput my purchase manually at top cash back - it didn't track!

saoirse86 · 12/06/2011 13:00

aswell why do you get boots code sent to you? I don't get them. Sad

aswellasyou · 12/06/2011 13:03

This one wasn't sent to me. I get them from promotionalcodes.org.uk mostly. Or Quidco sometimes.

suzie38 · 12/06/2011 14:18

That's a fantastic deal but no use to me now because another thread on here, had me investigating Bumblerides so i went an bought an Indie via USA eBay as it worked out cheaper than buying that one for £340...I also went and bought a Bumbleride Flyer to replace my Graco Flip It...And today bought a black Oyster with orange pack for £170 to tide me over till i get a Strawberry, if i like them in real life...Also how does the Quidco work???

aswellasyou · 12/06/2011 14:24

That's a lot of pushchairs! You just sign up to them or Top Cashback (they're the same sort of thing) and when you want to buy something online, go through their link to get whatever percentage they offer for that site. Does that make any sense at all?!Hmm If you do it via a referral, one or both of you get a couple of pounds I think. I've never done that though so I'm not sure how it works exactly.

MonkeysPunk · 12/06/2011 15:41

To get top cash back or quidco to work, you hop to your site through their website first. A cookie should track your hop to shopping site and register you to get a small percentage of cash back. Which can then be paid into your bank or paypal account.
I'm thinking the next addiction to pushchairs is bike attachments. Seen a really cool I-go on eBay today.

MonkeysPunk · 12/06/2011 15:49

Look at the WEEHOO bike trailer on eBay. I can't link as on my mobile, but it looks cool. Think I want one!

FriggFRIGG · 12/06/2011 18:33

Duet or +One?? Duet or +One?? Duet or +One?? Duet or +One?? Duet or +One?? Duet or +One?? Duet or +One?? Duet or +One?? Duet or +One?? Duet or +One??Duet or +One?? DUET OR +ONE????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ARRRRGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also,where can i get £580?

OP posts:
MonkeysPunk · 12/06/2011 19:57

eBay? you'd be surprised what will sell aside from buggies - packs of clothing or shoes seem good sellers. (like a box of clothes age 2-3 £20 + postage - include vests, pj's, and a few outfits - like all you'd need for that age group).

MonkeysPunk · 12/06/2011 19:58

Here's that

FriggFRIGG · 12/06/2011 20:04

oooh, well ive got 10 tons of kids clothes and shoes, might try that idea, thanks!

....hmmm,also maybe a couple of old SLR cameras....

OP posts:
FriggFRIGG · 12/06/2011 20:05

THAT IS COOOL!! Grin

OP posts:
MonkeysPunk · 12/06/2011 20:37

If it isn't nailed down, sell it!
I know I'm going to have to, as I seem to have bought the weehoo! Plus a bike that fits me, admittedly on sale and using a voucher I had towards the cost... but I seriously need to put heaps on eBay to pay the cc off now! [Blush]

MonkeysPunk · 12/06/2011 20:39

I'm considering getting the pet ferrets to do some abstract paintings to auction...Wine

suzie38 · 12/06/2011 21:14

Someone has just bought a vintage Maclaren, the first model that came out in the 70's for £227!!! Wow that must be some profit...We had a second hand one for my sister on holiday...Was great as she hated to walk and i loved to push it...we used it until she was 7 i think.

Guildfordnanny · 12/06/2011 21:14

Lol Monkeys! Well done! The weehoo looks cool. Lol FriggFRIGG...I am doing the same...but....it depends on timing of the +One - I actually hope they aren't being released at the same time. Hubby has said I can have a +One - which mentally I prefer - if they have resolved the huge gap at the back ie the hood. I really really hope someone at MB has made a piece of zip on or popper on fabric for cold winters! As for money...I can see my BJCS going - Boo Hoo - and the Verve...I am using the Kobi and Peach at the minute. The BJCS is just so tiny when folded and goes under my car roof in summer. Oh and I have agreed to sell the Zapp. I still don't know whether to sell the new covers on the old frame or sell them separately. I just hope these MBs are good in real life now....and you will never truly know until you use them...

aswellasyou · 12/06/2011 21:25

The weehoo looks like fun! I wish I wasn't scared of riding bikes or I could move my addiction on one day too.
Frigg, I think I'd be leaning towards a Duet. That's one vote for each but I don't know what I'm talking about!Grin I just prefer side by side on the whole. And I'm sure you could make a lot of money selling things. Be realistic about what you don't need/use and sell them! I've made a profit of £444 so far.GrinGrin
