BTW it was about £125 on the Silvercross website which I thought was good before I spotted the EBay ones. I spotted the higher handle height too.

suzie38 · 09/06/2011 21:00

The Halo's remind me of my M&P Nuna...Must get it out of the wardrobe...It's my summer buggy plus i'm saving it for DD to use with her toys when she's older.

ToysRLuv · 09/06/2011 21:37

Hmm, must research it further.. Do I really need it, though, now I've got the Zapp? No.. however.. what if it's better? Does that elusive perfect pushchair even exist?

Wonder if celebs buy a million prams? The Beckhams were given a pink Buzz (I think) as a baby shower gift.. will they use it? Wouldn't have though pink prams were VB's style. Do you think companies give buggies out to celebs in the hope that they will use them, and the company gets publicity?

Honeydragon · 09/06/2011 21:39

Wow I've missed loads Grin....... dd i getting older and walking so I'm going to look at a new toy tomorrow, its vairy vairy expensive and if its any good I'm going to take my child transporting addiction to a whole new level!

Has anyone here tried a B-Mobile, is it Britax's equivilant of the Zapp?

suzie38 · 09/06/2011 21:46

That sounds intereseting??? What is the expensive toy???

Guildfordnanny · 09/06/2011 21:46

Lol what are you looking at Honey? A Taga?

aswellasyou · 09/06/2011 21:46

What is it Honey?! I'm intrigued.
The B-Mobile reclines completely flat so I wouldn't put it in the same category as the Zapp. It's really flat when folded. I quite liked it when I was looking for a stroller. I remember someone on this board saying it was rickety or something though. It might have been Frigg.
Toys, I can't imagine Victoria Beckham using a Buzz. It's a bit too normal. She'll probably have a Missoni printed Cameleon or something.Grin Are you thinking the Halo might be a replacement for the Zapp? It's much bigger and heavier-more like a proper pushchair.

aswellasyou · 09/06/2011 21:51

That Taga is quite exciting but £1695! Shock Woah!

Guildfordnanny · 09/06/2011 21:51

Hmmm I might not like the Halo then :( Oh well it's on the way now!

Guildfordnanny · 09/06/2011 21:52

Hubby desperately wants a Taga....but it's too much money.

ToysRLuv · 09/06/2011 21:53

away: Ok, definitely don't want anything too proper pushchairy.. But the halo's still intriguing - so cheap. Agree with you about VB. She will design her own pushchair or something.

suzie38 · 09/06/2011 21:54

I'm in the middle of having an annoying conversation with a US seller on eBay...Obsessed with me calling...I can't call America as it'd cost a bomb, no idea about international codes etc etc anyway...Think they want to do a private sale to avoid the eBay fees...I did buy another American pushchair yesterday without all this faffing.

ToysRLuv · 09/06/2011 21:54

GN: Let me know what you think when you get it!

.. I will now go and look up this mysterious "Taga"..

aswellasyou · 09/06/2011 21:55

Or £650. The seat looks beautiful quality.
Guildford, did you think the Halo was more like a stroller too? It weighs 9.8kg and isn't exactly small folded. Well at least you'll increase your pushchair knowledge!

Honeydragon · 09/06/2011 21:55

I had discounted it as looking rickety in store ages ago; but one of the mums at school as one and they are actually quite sturdy looking little things. I know that something must be wrong with it as I didn't get one Confused Grin

Guildford not quite as Chelsea as a Taga no Wink

ToysRLuv · 09/06/2011 21:57

Ooh.. that's what it is! We've just got a simple bike trailer.. Quite fancied the ones that turn into pushchairs when detached from the bike, but they were too expensive. Also, it isn't used very often, so wouldn't justify the price.

Honeydragon · 09/06/2011 21:59

Taga isn't worth full price, your dh would be better off with a Zigo Leader as that is effectively a double buggy. The detach is reputed to be under 30 seconds and the stroller is great. Much better buy for £1500.

aswellasyou · 09/06/2011 22:02

I think they've made improvements to the 2011 B Mobile so it might be worth a punt on the new version in particular. Tesco have it at £90 at the moment. Or the new version here for £150.

Honeydragon · 09/06/2011 22:12

See this really fucks me off when companies listen to feedback ..... it makes me start investigating and wanting things again Grin

suzie38 · 09/06/2011 22:18

lol...This thread is very bad for that!!!

ToysRLuv · 09/06/2011 22:32

If I were a designer/someone in marketing/PR at a pushchair company I would be reading this thread too..

ToysRLuv · 09/06/2011 22:35

Nothing to do with pushchairs but have a look at this! So it's a highchair, but it looks like something for potty training. Catch the poos in the net! Jeez Grin .

Honeydragon · 09/06/2011 22:37

I THINK ALL MOUNTAIN BUGGYS, BEES AND OTHER AFOREMENTIONED PRAMS SHOULD RETAIL FOR £11.50.

OH AND IT WOULD BE NICE IF APRICAS AND COMBIS WERE IMPORTED INSTEAD OF ONLY SHITTY MACLARENS TO CHOOSE FROM

suzie38 · 09/06/2011 22:39

I've bought an American version of Aprica/Combi in the sense it has 4 swivel wheels so when you flip the handle you can lock the back set of wheels...But yes it'd be great if they sold cheaper.
