Toys I saw that going on display in MC....its bloody awful! Grin, you can go to ikea buy a antilop and a toddler chair and a toddler table and still come home with £75.00 in your pocket, and better quality items.

Honeydragon · 09/06/2011 22:40

ooooh link if you have one please suzie?

ToysRLuv · 09/06/2011 22:41

I THINK THOSE THAT CONSISTENTLY PRAISE A PARTICULAR BRAND OR TYPE OF PUSHCHAIR (E.G. VIGOUR) SHOULD GET SOME FREE (E.G. B-MOBILE)! :D

Thanks guys Shock hubby has just bought himself a much listed over for more than a year Taga Shock! it's funny how he can justify one with the possibility of a review in mind Shock He is going to have to clear the garage out to fit it in!

ToysRLuv · 09/06/2011 22:48

HD: I have the Antilop. It's great. I had originally bought a mamas & papas monstrosity with a while harness that could not be detached for cleaning. However, as soon as I actually started weaning I realised that it was possibly the stupidest product I have ever bought. And it cost a lot more than the Antilop.

suzie38 · 09/06/2011 22:48

www.bumbleride.com/strollers/flyer-home.php

Bought a red one.

FriggFRIGG · 09/06/2011 22:48

OMG GN!!! That is big money...I'll show DH a Taga tomorrow but he's used to racing bikes though guess it's similar to PO bikes...Mind you he could just put DD in the basket at the front.

Honeydragon · 09/06/2011 22:54

Suzie let me know how you get on, it was between the flyer and the bee for me, and I went for the bee as

a) it was a little lighter

and

b) I fleeced MC to fuckery on the price..... they still panic now if I come in and look at anything over £200 Grin

ToysRLuv · 09/06/2011 22:55

Suzie: It looks very classy. The snack pack accessory thingy looks good.

Frigg: Are you sure you haven't already been offered something? :) If not, the companies are definitely missing a trick. People buy pushchairs off the back of the opinions other people write here.. (I have to confess to being a business graduate -AND WOULD HAPPILY TAKE ON A MARKETING ROLE IN A PUSHCHAIR COMPANY, SHOULD I BE OFFERED ONE, ESPECIALLY IF IT INVOLVED GETTING FREE BUGGIES) :D

Honeydragon · 09/06/2011 22:57

I have the fish price space saver it is truely awesome

aswellasyou · 09/06/2011 22:57

Guildford! Shock He's worse than you.
When do I admit I like the Doodle and have the chair that goes with it?

suzie38 · 09/06/2011 22:58

I've just bought a Bumbleride Indie instead of the Swift i was going to buy...The flyer is 19lb so 9kg i think but i can't remember the weight of a Bee Plus...I like flip over handles if the sun is in DD eyes...I could only change the Bee around if i had instructions in my hand...Plus i like the footrest and DD will let you put them up now.

aswellasyou · 09/06/2011 22:58

GIVE ME THE PUSHCHAIRS!

aswellasyou · 09/06/2011 22:59

Subtle enough? Grin

suzie38 · 09/06/2011 23:01

I've not bothered with a snack pack even though i could use it on both models...Looks like it might be a pain to use and clean up...DD can manage to hold a snack by herself and be trusted to hand it back once she's finished as opposed to throwing it everywhere, like she used to.

Honeydragon · 09/06/2011 23:02

aswellasyou

but it's a antilop sat on a table! I thought you were sensible?????? Wink

Honeydragon · 09/06/2011 23:03

how much for the flyer?

suzie38 · 09/06/2011 23:04

Back to highchairs, i've got an Antilop...The Fisher Price one i first had, would have been a nightmare/impossible to keep clean...Ikea one looks as good as the day i bought it :) Did consider the FP space saver one as i'm a sucker for FP.

suzie38 · 09/06/2011 23:05

Just over £300, bought instead of a black Oyster so similar price though i'd still love to give an Oyster a whirl.

suzie38 · 09/06/2011 23:06

Though £90 was postage!!!

ToysRLuv · 09/06/2011 23:10

My Antilop looks good as new, as well, and it's the white one. Never used the harness (is there a point to them?), so just let it hang off the bottom. I saw some of the Zapp covers have white straps too. Are these older models? White straps are designed by the devil.

aswellasyou · 09/06/2011 23:11

Honey, I am sensible! You're all wrong!Grin My daughter currently sits in this to eat but she's just learnt how to climb out. Maybe I should actually use her highchair.
