Thanks for that link...I'll look into it.

suzie38 · 02/06/2011 08:50

MonkeysPunk Any news from Boots about availability??? It'd work out around £304 for me though thinking maybe a raincover would be better for resell value later...I could use the points for Christmas presents later in the year...DD wears cloth so couldn't use for nappies etc etc

FriggFRIGG · 02/06/2011 09:01

do you guys know how much money 4216 boots points transfers to?

OP posts:
suzie38 · 02/06/2011 09:10

Think it's £42.16...Sure 1 point = 1 pence.

FriggFRIGG · 02/06/2011 09:24

ooooh!!
i should get those transfered on to a card then!!Grin

I'm hoping boots will send a tracking number soon. They haven't said anything about availability so am assuming all is ok.
It's still instock on their website too.
I've got loads of points to collect now, as bought my summit from them also a while back. Again with discount and extra points.
Maybe I will have enough points for a buggy!

suzie38 · 02/06/2011 10:46

Hee He...Well if i order the apron as well i'd get 5900 points...Sure they sell buggies that cheap.

saoirse86 · 02/06/2011 19:16

You lot talk too much, I'm struggling to keep up! Suzie, I see you worked out the points at Boots. It is that 1 point is 1p. I'm saving mine to buy things there when I feel hard up one day! They'll probably be spent on baby clothes though.
I bought a Besafe Izi Combi yesterday for £200 and a Klippan Kiss today for only £149! The Kiss is really quite ugly! Grin But it makes up for it when I wheel it around!

aswellasyou · 02/06/2011 19:17

Ok, I have opened the box :) Inside was a Trends for Kids (TFK) Twinner Twist Duo. My husband actually liked it so much that he took the rest of the afternoon off to watch the demo. I haven't had chance really to properly play with it as yet, but it's great rugged (in a Kipling sort of way) pushchair for offroading, jogging, shopping etc. I have to say it is quite neat, well thought out and is a double that doesn't feel like a tank. It's the little details I like, like Velcro to keep the folds of the recline fabric from flapping, the adjustable footrest, the tags on the zippers to make it easy to get them, and best of all the storage pockets and pouches. I am looking forward to getting out with it. We saw briefly the very flat folding single version - the Joggster Twist - which looked like a really interesting alternative to a Mountain Buggy. They have a very cute Buggster too - one with air tyres and one without, and a huge shopping basket.

FriggFRIGG · 02/06/2011 21:42

i looked at the twinner before getting the MB...71cm wide they reckon....i didnt think it was available in the uk?????! Shock

do let us know how you get along with itGrin

(that they called it a 'trolley' Grin)

suzie38 · 02/06/2011 22:04

Gawd, don't give me more options!!! I'm dithering about the Swift at the moment.

Guildfordnanny · 02/06/2011 22:36

It is 74cms wide which hopefully...hopefully...just be enough to get through my local shop doors......it's 1.5cms less than the BJCM which didn't fit by hubby reckons a cm and a half.....in which case I will have a heck of a job to argue a Duet given the fold is much neater as well and the seats are beautifully padded :( The single was fab as well and there are other goodies made by the company too. Lol re the Trolley pushchair! I see you didn't bid!

Guildfordnanny · 02/06/2011 22:38

Oh and use it arrived in the UK in mid may - 11th if I remember correctly!

suzie38 · 02/06/2011 22:48

Which pushchair has a neater fold??? For once i've lost the plot!!!

Honeydragon · 02/06/2011 22:49

Suziiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Suzie, do you think the Vigour 4 could cope with snow as well as the 3, I'm pondering a swap Grin

Honeydragon · 02/06/2011 22:49

How embarrassing you were here all along Blush

suzie38 · 02/06/2011 22:53

I'm not sure...I think snow might get caught up in the front wheels like it did with my Frog...Once snow is fully compacted it'd probably fine but nothing worse than going out and getting stuck...Guess worse case senario, you can pull it backwards on rear wheels...I'm going to sell my 3 Vigours to buy a MB Swift or that's the plan if i don't get swayed elsewhere.

Honeydragon · 02/06/2011 22:57
Sad

Still want something rf that can cope with snow, thought best to look now whilst everyones looking at holiday strollers

Guildfordnanny · 02/06/2011 22:59

I think the Twinner Twist (for me anyway) has a neater fold. It's small and chunky instead of the long and flatter fold pf the Duo / Duet.
