I'm thinking Swift now...Boots had all dimensions of both Swift and Elite, folded and up...Think the smaller Swift would be most handy...Bugger so Boots had it on offer yesterday...£368 with points today, mind you cheaper than ones on eBay...But Boots never sell anything i want as Asda generally sells cheaper the same item...Which is your prefered color???

suzie38 · 01/06/2011 15:28

£345 a good price and i think i'll stick with my multi purpose raincover for how often i'll use it plus i've a collection from other buggies anyway.

FriggFRIGG · 01/06/2011 15:32

ive seen one of those, well a video of one, they look great!! i really want one, wish i had known about the 'test and keep' Sad

GN is that whats in your box????Grin

Ok, I am now a dithering wreck. I have spent the last 2 hours looking at buggies to take on my hols and may as well have the Maclaren for £160.

Should I get the blue, red or black Maclaren XT and should I get a liner?

I think it was Monkeyspunk who spotted the green one with the aeroplane liner and they have sold out Angry

I am now obsessing over which colour/liner to get and cant get over the fact I cant have the green one Angry

suzie38 · 01/06/2011 15:39

^^ That's what i was thinking FriggFrigg.

MonkeysPunk · 01/06/2011 15:57

Now looking at the swift on www.practicalpushchairs.co.uk as it's £340 there - and then the storm and uv covers are only £25 each - so that's a great saving off the normal price too....

I was thinking of the lime colour - but now thinking flint is more subtle - and goes with everything - plus I already ordered a silver nomad snuggle bag off ebay - which will look fab with it! I do like the lime - but ds's snowsuits are tomato red - and I don't want the chilli - don't know why but it's just not really appealling to me.

The swift is going to be our everyday buggy.

Pegpolkadot - I have the green triumph with aeroplane liner - it's been taken out the box and admired but not used if you are interested....(although I'm not allowed to sell on this board) so pm me. I was going to list on ebay for what I paid plus postage. If you get the xt - I like the look of the black one - with the black frame looks v chic!

suzie38 · 01/06/2011 16:06

I like both lime and flint...I love my Bugaboo custom footmuff and hood in giraffe print and would go fine with the flint color.

Ooohh that pushchair is amazing but the Babyzen fold is pretty awesome and fun to do. I saw earlier that the Babyzen was marketed as good for off road. I sooo want a Swift but will try and be good (even though I sold two pushchairs this weekend so could in theory buy one) and wait until DD is old enough for the Freerider. If I get one of those now then I wont be allowed a Duet, and the Duet will definitely fit through my local supermarket door. Lol re the box in my hall. Someone is coming to demo it to me tomorrow and although I am perfectly capable of working it out myself, given they are travelling hundreds of miles to visit, I will contain myself a bit longer! I can't even work out what colour it is but I think it is red. It's a double and quite a small box really. But the box weighs over 20kgs (I think 23) but I don't know what is inside! I don't know if it's another UK first for BB or not yet either but I am hoping it is!

MonkeysPunk · 01/06/2011 16:20

Guildfordnanny - I'm probably being a bit slow here - but how is it you get random prams posted to you to play with? How could I get some of that then?!

Well, if you need any help testing things - do let me know! Wink Although my "baby" is almost 3y - so I could probably just see how big a "baby" can be squished into a buggy! LOL
I have ordered the swift! (so much for "I will NEVER sell the Breeze"......ha ha! how fickle!). Still, it was cheaper than a bee - and will suit my needs better (just sold my Bee+ - lady is coming to get it this afternoon).

Now I need to sell almost new XLR - almost new Breeze and the Triumph.

I'm still on the fence about if I'm ready to part with the BJ Summit though. I'll have to monitor how often it actually does get used and then decide.

How strange to think we could become a one-buggy household! Shock

The Swift looks like it folds even smaller than the breeze (which is 40 inches long folded). This will please my husband immensely when we put it in the car!

MonkeysPunk · 01/06/2011 16:43

Oh my - that means I could get one of those scooter thingies for DD3 - if they'll work for a 7y old....she's not very heavy.....

suzie38 · 01/06/2011 16:45

I keep being fickle saying i won't buy anything after the Donkey and now i want a Swift, Strawberry and a Fusio...But will sell all 3 Vigours, the Brio Go and the Super Dreamer...So all my collection will then all in one piece and be free standing bar the Quest at my parents.

suzie38 · 01/06/2011 16:46

fold all in one piece

MonkeysPunk · 01/06/2011 16:58

I'm really looking forwards to getting the swift - I've ordered from practical pushchairs - who don't promise fast delivery - but did have a good price - firstly I hope it was actually in stock - secondly it would be lovely if they could send for Friday (then I could use it on all the weekend outings - esp to Paultons Park on Sunday for our little boys birthday). I ordered the storm and sun covers too!

suzie38 · 01/06/2011 17:02

Well DD would not stand for any sun cover unless comatose!!! Let me know how you get on with it...I'm not in a hurry and would rather sell a few buggies before buying!!! So no doubt i'll find something else to covet in the meantime...This forum is very bad as we keep feeding each others addictions Grin Grin

aswellasyou · 01/06/2011 17:19

Monkeys, if you're a member of Boots' Parenting Club, you'll get 5600 points and if you buy it through Quidco you'll get 7% (£28) if you're a new Boots customer or 3.5% (£14) if you're not new. So that's like it's £316 or £330!

Guildfordnanny · 01/06/2011 17:21

This thread is terrible! I need a Swift and a Strawberry now lol. Thanks re Best Buggy. It's pushchair addiction at its worst. It was meant to be my own personal resource site but over 600 people a day are currently using it - over 2000 pages! I just want it to be useful - and it's keeping me out of mischief - well apart from baby feeding times like now when I can come out and play! Wink

aswellasyou · 01/06/2011 17:23

I see you've bought it Monkey, ignore me! Grin

MonkeysPunk · 01/06/2011 17:26

Got swift with storm and uv covers for £390. Damn I forgot to click through top cash back!

aswellasyou · 01/06/2011 17:28

This thread is ridiculous. It's like being at an AA meeting and passing around a bottle of vodka! I bought a rear facing car seat today for £200 so it's like I've saved £100 which can go towards my Frog! Yay!

aswellasyou · 01/06/2011 17:28

I hate it when I forget to get cashback!
