Welcome all and i still don't have my Urban Detour. Send it now have canceled twice now so just waiting for the weather to clear.

Has anyone gone out in the snow with a pushchair??

Well i have a few bits n pieces to do tonight but always up late so i will check in on you sweetheart. I will keep letting you know i am here.

Oh no Nicola! I am the same, can't sleep whn DH isn't here.

I have just not long gotten in from my family meal, was a good laugh.

i feel sick just forcing down some toast its been snowing over 3hrs its no fun anymore. luka wakes in the night for daddy cuddles will have to make do with mummy tonight

We had that thick snow a few weeks ago Nicola, not so much un after a while. Hop Terry gets home tomorrow. Is it a hotel he works at?

LOL Basl, it was my dad, brother and sister. The Dark Side don;t do social gatherings much.

they have b&b rooms so he's ok for somewhere to sleep but its cold he says..he's stayed there before!

morning!! Thanks basl i went to sleep fine about 10.30ish then woke at 2.30 couldn't get back to sleep til gone 4.30. Had a little visitor come in for a cuddle just after 6am!

terry just rang he's had a nice cooked breakfast and now working away.

seems like snow is melting already it must be slightly warmer out. Im going to venture to Tunbridge Wells when we are all dressed and ready..no rush!

Morning!

Having left it quite late I am now getting slightly more organise and am out shortly to post cards and two last parcels. Also want to get some emergency food in case we don't make it to Grandma's for christmas. And crackers and stuff.

Not as much snow as I thought it would be, think it must have stopped fairly early and yes seems to be melting a bit. DP got train in to London fine.

Glad to hear your getting organised Dunoon. I have to say i have no idea how on earth i would manage without my dh. Now this is not a relationship issue it's a nightmare when you can't drive and have a littlie. Just been to pick up Olivia from school and Daniel is so tired the now with all his acting up at night. He cried all the way to the school and all the way to the post office. I pushed both them as far as i could in the classic [bless the classic] then Daniel had a screaming hab dab in the post office. Everyone was staring and Olivia sat in the classic and refused to move. Daniel wanted picked up and snot flying everywhere.

I think the stress level was about 110% and i was so near to tears. The normally nice lady behind the counter was so not impressed by this screaming which made my lip treble in true basl style. Eventually got home and now they are happy as ever.

Olivia explained "Mum i needed the loo and i have got on party tights, it was so cold am sorry!!"

Feel awful now and must of looked a real stress head. What a red face. Well done and dusted now and lets move on.
I said in temper "Well thankyou both very much! I will never be able to show my face in their again!!" Olivia replied "Ahhh just stuff them mum, Who cares " wish i had her care free attitude.

bless her basl! she's such a little love really isn't she. They both have. Since luka i think i have such more understanding into why/when the strops come. He's such an intense little boy, and tbh most of the strops are justified really.

Oh sod the p.o woman just like olivia said.

It is hard work sometimes not being able to drive. I've ended up not going into next town today as just too stressful for me atm. Terry is off as of tomorrow. We have big food shop to do first thing, then i have flu jab, then he's going to come into town with me on bus/train and we will have our tea out.

Then we are going to softplay later to burn off some energy before tea. And you never know i might get to sit down and have a coffe

I am currently wanting a nother buggy!! i need something light for the bus like today i i just don't think i could squeeze luka into micralite now and don't want to dirty it up in this snow. The nipper is just not practical to fold and take on a bus.

Oh a buggy challenge i like them.

Well he is currently screaming his head off with tiredness. I really think i am going to have to tackle this sleep problem he has again. Slept so well at my sisters but always with the crying for mummy at night.

Not made it out yet. DD2 watching some film and wants to see the end. Everything takes soooo long.Wah!

I want a volo in majesty cheap too for what I want it for. Be good to use over summer for luka once I have baby on long days out then come sept he's at school

Basl how much sleep is he having does he still sleep in day? Mine still had 2nd sleep til 2.5/3years I'm really strict with bedtimes as need a break in eve Tate and luka in bed for 7.30 latest they know I don't tolerate any mucking [mean mummy]

At soft play now sat on my arse luka found little nursery friend and they all racing round on the disobeys little girls mum hovering watching them prob thinks I'm right lazy cow!!! The joy of older siblings tho is my excuse!!

Afternoon ladies - am off from work for a few weeks and only one dc at home! Ds is still at nursery so managed to do quite a few chores with dd...only just posted my pressie to my fiends in Australia ...they won't get it for ages, but just havn't had time to do it. Got a card from post office to say they have a parcel for us - which I think is from the same friends. I really miss my friend - she has been gone a year and our kids grew up together....I actually met her through mn - which we always joke about like it was online dating!

Afternoon everyone

DS2 at respite today, so me and DS1 went to the pictures. Went to watch Tron Legacy (zzzzzzzzz) but he enjoyed himself having quality time with me. Shops re really busy so the DVD I said he could have will have to wait as wasn't prepared to stand for an hour in HMV. DH now away to get DS2 and DS3 trying to build mr potatohead.

Basl, Olivia sounds such a cutie.

Nicola, you will have to try a BJCM with you new baby. It's a definite must!

I've met loads (well a few) of long term friends from the internet, it is quite the norm these days no?

Really not keen of the look tho 5in. Cannot wait to use superlite again will of course be keeping nipper as well. Can't decide whether to hang on for sale of volo or just get one??
