I am meant to be getting ready to go out tonight for a big family meal but can't get the motivation. WIll move my arse off the settee in a bit.

I managed to go shopping with my BIL and enjoyed myself . He is a pain in the arse, but he is very generous with the boys. He gives them money each year but likes me and Gav to go shopping with him so he can buy them presents which we put with all the rest of theirs off Santa. He also treat me to lunch , so I really shouldn't moan about him, but I will. DH took him back home on Sunday night, and hour drive there and he wasn;t even invited in to the house as his wife doesn't like any of his family in their house . So DH and DS1 drove an hour there, and drove back in the snow, which took 2 hours.

Hope Casper is ok Maxy, poor little thing.

5elves, some folk as soooo weird. Why on earth are they not allowed in?? What on earth is that all about. Well they don't know what there missing i say and Merry Christmas to them eh? Well, your birthday card has beein into 3 shops, locked in the car and now back home with me - clever eh? with myself but it will be on it's way, due to arrive sometime in june

Well Casper not been sick again so have just given him half of his tea, see how he goes. We just got him a big bed tonight for him to grow into - you could fit five of him in it but he was sick in his box bed and I draw the line at cleaning a cardboard box.

It is so bloomin cold here, have been frozen. We have heater on now in our outsheds to try and stop the pipe from bursting again. Like having an extra baby lol - trying to keep the pipe warm!!

Hee hee will treasure it all the more nowing it's been round the world and back. I am one of those very funny folk that keep birthday cards.

Lovely to hear from you and yes it's been a long time

thankfully our house is just about warm now. Haven't had fire on today as i don't think i should really be lifting heavy log baskets so had heating up really high, i don't care what it costs just can't be cold. The back rooms of our house and doors aren't double glazed (the utility and downstairs loo) and we have no kitchen door so the draft is dreadful. I've got little heater on in kitchen to keep it bearable.

Suppose there is something to be said for having a gas engineer in the house. We had that cavity wall thing done last year and double glazing and new doors and what a difference it makes oh and the loft insulation. Our house used to be freezing.

Would love a real fire tho is someone did all the cleaning it out.
