I am going to a ball tomorrow night and looking forward to it. Ehhhhhhm feel like i am talking to myself but bovered am i??? Nah not me.
Thinks still horrid at home but kids adorable as ever and my family are the best ever. Had a great time today in town with my cousin who called me out of the blue to meet for lunch. Daniel at my big sisters on a Friday and Olivia goes to grandads for dinner on a friday so why not. Had a fantastic time as she is soooo funny. Real pretty girl and is in a band and sings like an angel. She is now a full time nurse and paid for the meal the taxi home and drinks. Its first time she ever paid for anything lol but she is amazing company and so nice of her to ask to meet up.

Maxy did you get your package ???? eager to hear what you think Wink

5in hope things are going ok with your discovery. Bexie how you doing my love not spoke to you for ages.

Wow, really quiet on here!

Dunoon, I am loving my superlite. I;ve got the superlite footmiff on and it fits lovely for DS3. He loves zipping himself in and out of it :)

Nicola, is your friend still selling blue hood?

Basl, have found out a few more things, but please don;t put anything on FB as my mam is being a bit of a cow about it all now Hmm. I've got 5 brothers and a sister! I called my aunt the other night and she told me a few more things and is going to pass my number on to him. She emailed me tonight with his mobile number as well. I've put it in my phone, but no bloody idea what I am going to do with it.

I like swede, but the thought of it mashed puts me off. Then I don't like mashed potato either, lol.

What does anyone think to setting up a thread somewhere else just for general chatting and support? Most of us have past the obsessive pushchair stage. Maybe in 'off the beaten track' where other groups meet like the shiney threads. Or do all of you chat on facebook or msn anyways and don't need another place?

OMG it's Burns Night tonight [bgrin]! You take the high road and I'll take the low road......

Dunoon I think a chat thread is a good idea!

Report
5inthebed · 25/01/2011 10:47

I lik the idea of that Dunoon. Where would we put it? Chat?

Report
Dunoon · 25/01/2011 11:17

Hello lillypie!
Could go in chat and that has he benefit of being deleted regularly so that any personal stuff would disapear after a while. But don't know if MN HQ like established groups to be in a different section. Will investigate.

Report
Dunoon · 25/01/2011 11:23

Oooh well in Chat threads are deleted after 90 days.
In Off the Beaten Track they are deleted after 30 days and it is designed for more privacy and does not appear in active convos.
So any opinions? Is 30 days enough? Thread a month?

Dunoon · 25/01/2011 11:27

"footmiff" 5in [bgrin]
DD3 used to call hers a cosyfoot.
Basl to be hep with the jive you maybe should be saying "later girlfriend!" but what do I know. It may also get you socially ostracised [sp?] [bgrin]
Ah right nursery run beckons.

I think 30 days is enough, quite like the idea of being off the beaten track!

I have been home with Isobel all day.We have done cleaning and shopping (play) and glitter art and now she is going to do painting while I put my feet up with a cuppa for 10 mins

Earlier she told me that she loves Daddy quite a lot but sometimes he gets on her nerves.I know exactly how she feels Grin
