i love my uggs, i have bnib choc bailey buttons that i had exchanged at the end of last winter (still prefer chestnut tho!)

FlyMeToDunoon · 04/08/2010 08:42

I am jealous that you are getting to Toy Story Nicola. I was fuming a couple of weeks ago because I discovered that the buses to Knights Park [where the cinema is located] run extremely infrquently and stop at 5o-clock anyway. So no after school cinema trip for us. Neither the cinema or Arriva could give a monkeys although it must surely lose them money. Why the council did not insist on a regular bus service when they allowed Odeon to build out there I do not understand.
Rant over.
I think we may need to go into town for a couple of things. Might have a snack in a cafe, get something to distract DDs this afternoon and then back home. Weather looks odd.
Have a good day all.

Morning all,

My gran just turned up and is attacking the wash pile with a vengence

Bidding on that pram ends today. Shall i go for it?

Flyme, that would piss me off too. Our cinemas are not easily accessable at all, fortunately we have a car or we wouldnt go.

FlyMeToDunoon · 04/08/2010 12:00

Go for it Geek!

OP posts:
basl · 04/08/2010 12:01

Only if it's going cheap geek as you would prob want to change the covers. Maybe you would like a nipper? they are lovely.

How's dhs dad today and i love your gran you are so lucky. Neither of my grans or grandads are alive but one of my grans used to do that for my Auntie when she divorsed. She would come home from work and the house had a spring clean and all the washing and ironing done.
Still i think you gran loves to do that for you and i think it is so nice.

nicolamumof3 · 04/08/2010 12:04

FlyMeToDunoon · 04/08/2010 12:19

Courier companys are a pita to deal with if something goes wrong. Very annoying.
My Nipper is being sent with a courier company who do not appear to have online tracking and you have to phone

OP posts:

I need some fashionable footwear for walking insted of 'granny' flat clarks comfies and walking boots

Basl you can join my in the no wine, whilst I am BF I can resist, when I sto SW will not be enough to hold me back

Back in a bit must wash up, made spag bol and turned it into a bake and every inch of surface in my kitchen seems to have a pot or pan on it my kitchen is smaaaaaaaall!

carrielou2007 · 04/08/2010 18:01

Forgot to say ds is crawling!!! Did it a few times last week, commando crawling and really going now

FlyMeToDunoon · 04/08/2010 18:17

How wonderful Carrielou. It's a very nice stage.
We made choc chip cookies today and my kitchen was the same even though it's big.
Just got back from the school shoe trip from hell. Stressed! However the elder DDs have their shoes, one pair was in the sale, they are happy and I am happy so it's a result.

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 04/08/2010 18:34

where did you get them dunoon? have mailed you back

nicolamumof3 · 04/08/2010 18:57

toy story 3 was fab btw!!

FlyMeToDunoon · 04/08/2010 18:59

Well.....we started at Stampede but DD1 and I did not agree on pumps versus strap so we moved onto- Clarks, M&S and Next and just as the heavens opened and I began a stress induced headache we entered the haven of Jones where a very patient, understanding and good with littlies sales woman soothed DD1 and I. So much so that I felt able to ask her to measure DD2. DD3 told her the complete plots of several films and ended up rampaging around slightly but she was unflapped.

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 04/08/2010 20:11

oh jones is nice isn't it, did the lady have long dark hair? if so she used to work in Russell and Bromely really really nice. I have lost toms uniform list and not sure if heeds one or two pairs trainers and cannot find it online grrr. Also there is no stationery list does your dd1 have one?

BexieID · 04/08/2010 22:21

carrie crawling already? Erin has been shuffling along on her back. She whines when on tummy and shes not sitting up yet.

I went to see Toy Story 3d last week with my brother (saw the first 2 with him). Was really good

BexieID · 04/08/2010 23:47

DP goes on a business trip to Ireland on Sunday and is staying here. Lucky man!

basl · 05/08/2010 00:21

Evening ladies, Geek did you bid for the powertrack? or are you having a nipper

Carrie your spag bol bake sounds good is it SW and wooo hoooo for your wee ds. He doesn't hang about!!! Will this make life more tricky now when he is getting about?

Nicola glad you liked Toy story did you think it was sad? and where on earth do you get the get up and go to photo all your pics. Love your cocktail dress but thinking it would be more appropriate fit for Olivias barbie!!! It looks teency weency. Can imagine you in that.

Sal shame about uggs I have huge calves [like apples] and they stop me with most boots.

Flyme i take my hat of to you for managing shoe shopping for all dd that is a rather stressful deed i would imagine. Still can't get over what i paid for Olivia's. Is your nipper coming tomorrow?

Bexie that hotel looks awfy pawsh i moost say !!! How fancy eh? Good on him i say and such a wee shame you can't go too.

Driving lesson today was fine, face still just about to burst with redness but i am getting on with it. Can't believe i am actually doing about 3 lessons a week now so much to take in and bloody well gets the old heart pumping.

I start back work tomorrow night so very apprehensive about that. I just don't like everyone staring at me and wondering why i have been off. Ah sod them !!!

On a funnier note. Daniel was playing at cafe's with Olivia today and he gave us all a tumbler from his little tea set he got for his birthday. I said thankyou and the wee soul said " no pobem" how funny is that? Did make me lol and he promptly told me to "pep it " which means stop it as he was not impressed i lol.

Well thats me off to bed now so catch up tomorrow lovely ladies xxx [Maxy hope your having a lovely time]

FlyMeToDunoon · 05/08/2010 06:59

So tired last night. had some wine and was wiped out.
Nicola yes the woman had long dark hair and I thought I had seen her working in Russel and Bromley before! We have no stationery list just a vague 'pens and pencils'. I know we need some white sport socks but must find the little booklet DD1 has to see what else. Her skirts and jumpers came the other day from school supplier. Jumpers baggy but she wants to keep them and skirts quite ugly I think. A straight pencil shape with small split at the back. Fit at the waist but are lose around the hips. Not a good look on a skinny 11 year old. I might have to alter them slightly.
Can you not contact any of Tom's friends about your list?

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 05/08/2010 07:15

i've got the list now finally managed to get it online. Still cannot work out if one pair of trainers is required or two, as lists p.e kit inside and outside. oh the joys. We have sports socks to get too and Tates school shoes.

Never ending.

Well today we are off to chessington, am v.excited must say terry is making picnic right now and boys watching ben10! we are leaving early and can have a good long day there as if they get tired we have double nipper of course! Looks like staying dry weather wise too.

Whats everyone else up to?

FlyMeToDunoon · 05/08/2010 07:45

Is Tom with you atm?
We are staying in and waiting for a courier!
I have raging PMT and will be deep breathing through...... everything really. Just found DD3 using an orange stamp all over the walls.
And breathe.

GeekOfTheWeek · 05/08/2010 09:47

Breeeeathe, nice and slowly, FlyMe!

Have a good day nic. Is it chessington world of adventures you are going to? I love theme parks.

basl, I won the jane for £36! Comes with footmuff, parasol and raincover so am really pleased.

Hows the driving coming on? I hated learning, had the oldest, grumpiest instructor known to man.
