black nipper is gone. Can't justify a mb they are just £££ for what i will use and tbh can't see how they can be worth two or three times a nipper big difference eh? i will order navy nipper at end of week Grin

FlyMeToDunoon · 17/08/2010 14:34
Grin camera charging Nicola. Will take pics of P&T covers later. Am having a quiet day pottering. Boden skirts for younger DDs arrived and are lovely. That inspired me to have a sort out and reorganise drawers. All neat atm. Won't last long. Didn't go to sainsbury's....yet anyways. Maybe for dinner. Have dredged up ham sandwiches for lunch and some chocolate digestives. DDs being very good today [touch wood] and now sat watching peppa pig dvd.

Hi diva!

Got your email nic, thanks.

FlyMeToDunoon · 17/08/2010 16:22

Pics sent Nicola.
I am so mad and it will serve me right for saying anything. My DDs went upstairs to play and have just come down all covered with DD1's makeup. Her room is a mess all her clothes on the floor, shoes spread about, my clothes too and her makeup box is trashed. The room was locked too.
I am going to have a glass of wine.
DDs shut in their room.Sad

oh flyme sounds like cabin fever my lot suffering from it i think. Just had the worst shopping trip ever to do the last returns of shcool uniform that did not fit. It was tantrum city with lots of I wants going on. Daniel was so hyper he just about killed me today with anxiety. He got out his buggy and ran riot round sports shop kicking every football he could get his hands on. Then just when i tried to get him back in buggy he went rigid and kicking and screaming like you would not believe so i opted to try and keep him beside me. He would shout "mum a get me" and run off and if you could only have seen me runnying after a 2 year old like a raving loonatic and her 5 year old sitting in the bjcm stroking her new pet poodle like Paris Hilton.

I could have strung him up and at the bus stip everyone staring and he was trying to run off again. So i picked him up and plonked him down on a step and he was crying so much and then in a big cream puff. Then this little old lady who looked about 100 came from nowhere and said " It's ok my darling, whats the matter, I've always thought you were so handsome and i love you so much. She got out the oldest purse you ever saw and gave him the only £1.00 coin in it and managed to unbotton his top pocket and told him to buy as many sweets as he liked. She kissed him on the top of the head and told him she loved him.

Shock Shock He was so nice to her as i thought he would shout No!! away!!! he smiled and say thankyou and i insisted she keep her pound but she asked i let him have it. She said it's ok my dear no doubt i will be able to give him another the next time i see him and off she went.

Well that did freak me out but Daniel liked her and shouted "Bye Ady"

Reminds me of the time in tenerife with the two of them driving us mental at a meal and olivia asked if she could go to see the lady selling things. So i got up from the meal and went for a walk to calm everything down. She bought a bracelet from the lady and we returned to the table and she showed her dad her new bracelet. We looked back to show him the lady and she was gone. Table the lot and she was very old too.

Woooooooooooooooohooooooooooooooo spooky.

Well 5in read that over and over a few times and sure you will fall asleep.
Flyme its a bloody nightmare when that happens and i would def recommend you have a huge glass of wine. I have had the nail varnish masacre in my house too.

I think i will shut up now. Oh and Olivia has black eye and lump thanks to her brother. Great first day photos of school Grin

FlyMeToDunoon · 17/08/2010 19:08

Thank you basl.
Your day sound a nightmare.
Both of them have refused their dinner now and have been allowed an orange to eat.
They are not having a bath as I now have a headache.
Straight to bed for them.

I wish the sun would come out I think I would feel better and we would be able to go out more.

Basl your posts always cheer me up :)

Dunoon, my three have been winding me up today as well, must be something in the water.

I've been near tears with DS1 today. He is being very disobedient lately and has an answer for everything. He was meant to be stopping over his nanas tonight, and he went there after summer camp. I got a call half an hour ater it ended from him saying he was really bored and that I should have remembered to drop him some dvds off. Ok I said, I'll drop you some off later. But it really annoyed me that he felt he had to call me and thn tll me he was bored. So I drove don to the MILs and told him he had to come home and be bored in his bedroom as I was sick of him watching telly all the time. He is 7 going on 17. I've sent him to bed early today and told him he isn't going to the pictures with his dad on Saturday. It sounds cruel, but he has been widnign me up all day. We had to collect SIL from her home and take her to MILs this morning, and it is a drive along narrow streets and part dual carrige way. He was carryig on in the car winding his brothers up annd making noises distracting me. He doesn't understand how dangerous it could be despite me telling him.

Aaaaah, that feels better getting that off m chest actually.

When DH gets in I'm doing a runner to the shops and getting myself something nice to eat/drink.

FlyMeToDunoon · 17/08/2010 19:46

DP is bringing chocolate and putting dds to bed. Aaaahhh.
Bring on september and school time.

Basl your post really made me giggle I have a mental image of Daniel running around the shop kicking footballs Grin

nicolamumof3 · 17/08/2010 20:45

oh ladies what days eh?! Well my three are still alive so thats an acheivment.

basl first day at school tomrorow!! Wow how exciting/scary for you both. Can't wait for pics and to hear alll about it!

5in you did totally the right thing, they are selfish little monkeys aren't they? totally wrapped up in their own world and lives. Toms the same. He's currently going through argos catalogue making his xmas list!

5inthebed · 17/08/2010 20:54

DH came home with a big bag of peanut M&M s for me.:)

D has been sat infront of the Argos catalogue since it came out! It was all for his birthday and now he wants it all from Satan Santa. He wants a wheelybug, but I've tried explaining to him h is too big for on. H also likes to look at it, and gets very excited.

D at respite tomorrow and A at summer camp so will just have H. Not sure what to do with him, maybe a nap like I did the other week Grin.

DH made A apologise to me earlier. Wasn't convinced he meant it like, but we shall see what behaviour we get. Are l 7 year olds this hard? H used to be such a good boy it makes me want to weep.

nicolamumof3 · 17/08/2010 20:58

oh bless they suddenly do change its hard when they've been v.good tho. enjoy your chocolate i think i need some!!

FlyMeToDunoon · 17/08/2010 21:02

5inthebed · 17/08/2010 21:04

It is hard. He never had terrible twos and has always been a dream child. Slept through at 6 weeks, hit his milestones early adn such a happy boy. It makes me feel quite guilty for being annoyed with him. It must be hard for him, specially as he can see D getting away with a lot more than he does, it's no wonder really that he is behaving this way. makes me feel a bit better when you say all children do this though.

nicolamumof3 · 17/08/2010 21:08

they do hunnie, don't feel guilty all your boys are different just as mine are, they all have their quirks shall we say lol!

5inthebed · 17/08/2010 21:13

Thansk Nicola :) I'm glad you've got all boys as well, at last I know I'm not alone.

Dh is just so lovely. I'm sitting here MNing and he has come home from work at 8, sorted the kids out upstairs, done the dishes and mopped the kitchen floor. I know I call him worse than muck some days, but god I love that bloke.

GeekOfTheWeek · 17/08/2010 21:18

5in, you need wine to go with that chocolate Grin

Liv is 5 and a half and is extremely challenging at the minute whereas Josh is 10 and is, and always has been, an angel. I suppose time will tell with the smallest. Hes only 8 months so could go either way.

basl, hope tomorrow goes okay Smile

5inthebed · 17/08/2010 21:21

Is tomorrow Olivia's first day at her new school? Good luck to her (and her black eye) if it is!

Geek, sadly I can't do wine and early starts with kids. One glass might be ok, but would keep me up longer than what I'd like. Saturday is my wine night as DH takes the kids to his mams.

nicolamumof3 · 17/08/2010 21:21

aww thats sweet, terry's a good old boy like that too bless him! i've been busy earlier this evening so nice to sit on my backside, mopped all floors earlier and scrubbed toilets and shower! nice jobs. Got dusting to do i hate dusting. do you have back door out from your kitchen 5in? im constantly sweeping/mopping kitchen when boys in/out. Tho weather been crap here lately.

5inthebed · 17/08/2010 21:22

Yes, back door to garden is in my kitchen. I love it though, don't care how dirty my kitchen floor gets now. I'm washing it every other night. Grin
