Hello and welcome.

Did they allow the cheese rolling this year Lillypie? Wasn't one cancelled for health and safety somewhere.
DD2 gets catapulted out of the Micralite regularly. Last time she was leaning forward and I misjudged a kerb.....b-doynnnng! However she has leant out while we are crossing the road before which makes me much more vigilant. Stil no straps though as she hops in and out all the time. In fact I have taken the straps off now.
I love basl. She is the ideal pushchair shopping companion
Today it's yet more washing [where does it all come from?], Maybe garden centre and DDs are all after lunch at McDonalds. House is thankfully quite tidy after the weekends efforts.

GeekOfTheWeek · 02/08/2010 10:19

HELLO!

How are we all?

La Pineda was nice but glad to be home. Got a mountain of washing now.

Decided to get a 3 wheeler for menorca as the bee wasn't v good on the sand..

sal1309 · 02/08/2010 12:20

hi geek we went to la pineda last year and enjoyed it but it was early in the season so was nice and quiet and not too warm

hi lillypie

basl · 02/08/2010 12:50

Hellooooo everyone, Geek so nice to hear from you and glad you enjoyed your hols but yes it is nice to come home again. I think you would like the MB Swift for hols

Lillypie how adventurous that day out sounded and what a perfect way to end the day with fish n chips mmmmmmmmm. Poor Isobel that happend to daniel once but it was me that ran over him with the pushchair. Gassing away to a friend and the little so n so had unplugged himself and slid out to the front.

BexieID · 02/08/2010 15:11

Hello all, got back from my mums yesterday! Had a good 2 weeks away and am happy it's not raining today so I can get some washing done.

GeekOfTheWeek · 02/08/2010 16:11

Has anyone used the 3 wheeler maclaren?

I know i need a 3 wheel all terrain but unsure which to get. Can't spend £££ so will have to be second hand. Also cant be too heavy as i want to take it on holiday!

Any suggestions?

basl · 02/08/2010 18:40

Hiya Bexie glad you had a nice break away at your mums.

Geek correct me if i am wrong but i am sure nicola took her nipper on her hols abroad, don't think she used it much but seems like the ideal thing to take on holiday as you can get a carry bag. I love you are thinking about prams the instant you are back.

Well i am off to Zumba after a very stressful day and driving lesson. at all the instructions but i just booked a block set so not giving up yet.

So i will let you know how i get on with zumba. Reeeeeeeebaaaaaaa cha cha cha !!!!!!!!
Me thinks i am going to be very and but give it a bash.

nicolamumof3 · 02/08/2010 18:58

evening all had a fabby day out inc.lunch at my cousins lovely lovely lovely.

boys exhasuted so they are off to bed come home to three huge next parcels can't wait to open them later.

Geek i did indeed take nipper in travel bag to greece used it every day was bloody fab ideal in travel bag, keep dithering over selling mine but got snunkie liner on way and think i would regret it. Fab for travelling as they are about same weight as a mac xt! not heard good about mac three wheeler im afraid. UD always get good reviews and you can usually pick up cheap tho not light?

GeekOfTheWeek · 02/08/2010 20:03

Had an urban detour and liked it but think its too big and bulky.

How about a m&p 03 or a jane?

basl whats zumba? Am intruiged

FlyMeToDunoon · 02/08/2010 20:17

Just bought a double Nipper

Geek Jane powertracks are very good. I found the M&P 03 a bit bulky.

oooh where from? mines arriving tomorrow dunoon!

FlyMeToDunoon · 02/08/2010 20:43

It's off ebay. Not a total bargain but I saw one today when I was out and thought yes as it was nice and narrow and I know they are very light. Good resale too. Soooo excited. DDs excited too and have chosen who has which seat
Seller says should be delivered by the weekend.

GeekOfTheWeek · 02/08/2010 20:59

Thats nice flyme. I like grey.

Scratch the m&p then. Are the jane powertracks not too bulky? I saw a 3 wheel jane in spain and it looked really nice. I like mb too but doubt dh will go for that!

Think i may look at the nippers Which model do i need?

sal1309 · 02/08/2010 20:59

fmtd thats great

basl sorry to hear you had a stressfull lesson hop zumba goes well (whatever that may be).

Well im sat here watching tv as dh is out fishing

FlyMeToDunoon · 02/08/2010 21:05

Jane powertrack is not bulky as a pushchair, quite spare really and has a different fold to many. It sort of concertinas up into a compact boxy shape that stands up if I recall correctly. The seat is wide and upright which I liked. Very roomy.
Jane Slalom I found too fussy with padded bumper bars, padded hood and cushions. However it might depend on the model.

I contacted the seller of this and asked if she would bin. She has replied saying she would accept £90 incase anyone is looking for a bargain. It is well used though.

Evening ladies, Well i absolutely loved Zumba!!! It is a keep fit class with a difference. If you google you will see what it is. It's kind of Beyonce shaking bum and latin salsa type shaking your booty type of class. I was so hot i was in such a state but i loved it. So much fun and felt ridiculous in parts but nobody cared. I am really making an effort to try and do things i don't want to because i am scared or can't be bothered. I have been asked on numerous occasions to go with friends but i keep making an excuse. Well tonight i decided to get on with it and loved it.

nicolamumof3 · 02/08/2010 22:20

great basl, i so wish i could go out in the evening! dh's job/working hours really gets to me at times. Feel trapped in this house once kids in bed.

FlyMeToDunoon · 02/08/2010 22:28

Sounds like lots of fun basl. You are doing well.
Unfortunately I am a bit like Nicola- can't get out in the evenings.
I am looking forward to my girly weekend vey much.

Mmmm my sister is the same that's why we jogged at 6.30am in the morning. My dh works mainly during the day but he does call and diff shift patterns and i am due back to work this week so i will only really manage a mon night and Sat morning. Then my dh likes his gym too so not as easy as it would seem.

My sister is loving her double buggy and great for fitness. I would rather go for mega long walks than go out in the evening.Although i did enjoy the laugh on the way there and back.

I am a funny one. Say i don't want to or i can't and it is amazing what you do when you try.

Rather odd shaking your boobs and butt at the same time. Not quite sure what my dh would make of that. Especially with a bright red face and sweating. lol

basl · 02/08/2010 22:51

I am sitting here smirking away to myself thinking what Maxy would have to say about that last comment. I wonder how she is getting on. I do miss her.

FlyMeToDunoon · 02/08/2010 22:54

When are she and 5in due to be back around?
